Although my 1st PT here made me a wrong kind of crust for my finger causing blisters on my skin, my 2nd PT here, Samantha, deserves a Special Mention. Samantha is a highly skilled and compassionate therapist who worked diligently to address my dislocated tendon at my pinky finger. When I told her my 1st crust was rubbing my finger causing me blisters, Samantha knew right away what went wrong and why it caused me blisters. She made me a new crust, more comfortable to wear. Samantha was extremely professional yet friendly and fun, and really knows her stuff. Her therapy sessions were not only effective but also conducted with genuine care and professionalism under a fun talk. I especially appreciated the maintenance tips she provided for my long-term recovery. Because I live pretty far away from the clinic, the front staff here always tried their best to accommodate my schedules. Only one thing that I feel the clinic may be considering to improve is upgrading their register system. Even I filled up the required documents in prior to go to the clinic, for some reason it didn't go through and I needed to spend 15-20 mins on a very old iPad to redo them all over again. This happened to me twice. In sum: Friendly and kind staff. Highly recommend Samantha to anyone seeking hand therapy!

You can tell that they really love their job, and the company they work for, it shows in how they care for their patients. I was there for some physical therapy rehab. I have osteoarthritis and I've been losing muscle mass so the PT and OT team really did a great job of helping me regain some muscle and learning how to use some of the disability tools that I hadn't used before. Everything about the place was spotless. My room was kept clean every day. All the floors were always impeccable, and the gyms were always so clean. They definitely give you a lot of food. I can't say the food was great, but it wasn't terrible. It was just kind of average. They do serve a lot of pork. But they certainly are not skimpy on the food. While I was there, I had group sessions with other people needing to regain strength and mobility, and they always had us doing some fun games Incorporated to make us move. The game everybody loved was pool noodle volleyball with balloons. It had everybody laughing and having a good time, and moving their bodies, it was so much fun.

My wife was brought in due to a spinal cord injury, which left her a paraplegic. She was to get physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, if deemed needed. She received physical therapy, in which she fell TWICE from the hoyer lift. NO ONE CALLED TO INFORM ME! When I found out later, that she fell and questioned the facility, all they said was she didn't want me to know. Ummmmm, what?? I have every right to know as she may have needed medical attention - other than your facility. I doubt it was even documented. My wife had to be taken back to the hospital during her week at encompass and it was there I was told by the hospital, that according to encompasses notes, they were adminstering two different kinds of long acting insulin. SHE DID NOT TAKE 2 KINDS OF LONG ACTING INSULIN PRIOR TO THIS. She did NOT need this. She arrived at the hospital super lethargic and out of sorts. She also had crazy high levels of co2 (carbon dioxide), which ultimately caused her demise a few days later. They even had the audacity to pack up all her belongings and stored them in a managers office only a few hours after she was transported to the hospital. By there own guidelines, my wife should have had that room for the next 72 hours. So why pack up her belongings that soon? Protocol? Doubtful! This is a horribly place. Do not send you loved ones here. I have already started action on this facility for the incompetence and unprofessionalism they displayed. Also, please refrain from replying with a generic, cookie cutter response. I don't need your response, I just want people to know my experience at this horrendous place!

After having an evaluation at kidventures, the OT took the time to explain Sensory processing disorder and she gave me lots of resources that my husband and I could implement at home. My son loves going to "play" there and he talks about the "big gym" all the time! His OT did a school visit and kept in contact with his teacher to help her understand his behaviors and sensory needs. It's amazing that he can sit still through circle time now and is much better at following directions. He is even more coordinated and able to keep up with his friends during sports activities. The best part has been that his confidence has grown and we are so grateful for the services here.

I was starting to doubt the value of occupational therapy when someone referred me to Kidventures. From the initial evaluation, I could tell that they GOT my daughter. They REALLY SAW HER, so the plan that was developed was specific to her needs/goals. They knew what/when/how to tackle the issues to help her develop. I was included every step of the way and encouraged to participate. I received valuable feedback after every session and was given suggestions for things I could do at home to further help. My daughter is now a different little girl-she's mastered so many skills and continues to amaze me with her progress! Her physical abilities, as well as the ease with which we now move though our lives (those difficult transitions are sooo much easier!) make for happier days immediately and long term hope for a bright future. She is so knowledgeable and understanding to our concerns and needs and just really was upfront, please visit their website before you go to, I see many complaints on here but seem to be due to lack of parents research, and she really advocates for her clients and getting them all needed in just all aspects of their lives...school and home life. Two and a half months later, I was able to regain my range of motion and strength in the affected area as well. I owe my recovery to Dr. Talia Strahler, she was wonderful, knowledgeable, and supportive throughout this entire process! I would guess that people oftentimes have questions if they'll ever fully recover from comparable surgeries or feel that the process might be too difficult. I had similar thoughts and feelings, but once I got here they all went away. This recovery was definitely a team effort and I thank everyone so much for being the absolute best. It was such a welcoming environment, the staff is easy to communicate with. Scheduling is very easy and flexible, it's wonderful to get reminder text messages about upcoming appointments. Again, everyone is so friendly that oftentimes the work you're doing doesn't really feel like work because you're being checked-in on and/or there is great music playing in the background. This was an experience that I will not forget, nor the people involved! I know that if I ever need physical therapy again that I'll come back here in a heartbeat.
