Ok. So I'm new ( ish) to motorcycles and this is my experience. I went here back in February and looked at Indians . Beautiful bikes. The showroom for them is separate and it's beautiful. I was helped by Anna. She is an amazing professional and I truly appreciated the level of care I was given. At the end of the day, i went with a Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 I got at Randy's . It was simply a matter of practicality and budget. Randy had the bike I wanted. But my next bike , you never know! I also looked at Triumphs and Moto Guzzi . But those Indians are sweet and I would definitely seek Anna out. Since I got the bike I've had a couple of opportunities to work with Zack over the phone in parts. He too is super friendly and very professional. Very accommodating. I also got some help in their gear department looking at helmets and such. Again, great service. I personally think this is a well run business and has a well trained professional team in place . I look forward to working with them on the service and parts side and possibly a bike down the road. read more

Losing Gavin as a salesman was a detriment to this dealership. The last 2 times I've come here I've left frustrated. I got hassled over my bike preferences to the point of qualifying as demeaning and disrespectful. I got an offer $1500 below what my trade was worth from a sales manager who wouldn't negotiate or leave his office to look me in the eye. My bike is like new with less than 3k miles but my rear tire is "bumpy" plus they have to clean my chain and detail it and do their in house inspection (which they bill themselves for???) BTW they'll mark every purchase up with TONS of fees so if you're considering purchasing here just make sure to add at least $2000 to everything before showing up to look at it. I should have known, after being told that my color and model preferences were dumb and uninformed by a salesman, that I shouldn't go back. The bike I wanted to look at had stripped out threads in the oil pan (leaking) so I didn't even get to sit on it anyways because customers can't be in the mechanics shop and nobody told me about it until I was at the front desk. Hit up Cedar Creek Motorsports or Mad City Powersports. This is not a customer service kind of place and that's an issue when you're spending the kind of money that you would here. read more

During the whole process of finding the right ride for me over the span of about a year, Gavin has always been very patient with me and never pressured me into one ride vs the other. Was always very knowledgeable about everything I looked at. Could always count on him to give me the truth about each ride I looked at. If I switched gears and wanted to look at something else, he was flexible. If I needed to come at a certain time , he was patient and flexible. Always so attentive to what I was looking at. I finally found my ride and I absolutely love it and he took the time and then some to go over everything with me especially since we had our special needs daughter that we also had to attend to. I bought a Polaris Ranger from Engelhart this week. Being an out of state buyer, they were extremely easy to deal with and I was able to complete most of the transaction over the phone. They offered a fair price for my trade and didn't throw in any last minute additional fees. AJ in sales and the young lady in finance were both extremely helpful. They had by far the best pricing on a Ranger of any dealer in Wisconsin or Illinois. Just a great experience overall! read more

I went to this company in Spring to buy a 2022 motorcycle. Like some dealers they would not budge on price so I went elsewhere for a price $900 less. This week the bike came up for its break-in service. Essentially an oil change and valve setting and a general look over. Engelhart wanted $540.00 for this basic maintenance!!!! When looking to purchase a Can Am sea to sky it was not an easy task! I talked to 3 other dealers that all had one but they didn't offer the customer service I received from Engelhart's Colin. Other dealers wouldn't return phone calls or get me a quote in any rush. When we decided who to buy from it didn't come down to price. I was acually offered a better price at another dealer, It 100% came down to how we was treated and how we felt like Engelhart really wanted our business. Horrible Business!! Rob our salesman tells us a motorcycle is available only to then tell us it's not! They took our credit information acting as if the bike was ours. Then the sales manager Jeff argues with me on the phone rather than trying to find a solution. Poor business etiquette all around as they blamed one another for their business blunders. Steer clear of this Honda dealer as I'm sure service after the sale isn't much better. Can't wait to contact Honda Corporate to report their unethical business practices! read more

I bought my bike here, I get my maintenance service done here, and have made just about all my in store purchases here: tires, helmets, pegs, leathers, gloves everything. The shop is loaded with a lot of accessories for bikes and bikers. Not only do they have a good service people but great sales associates. My salesman still remembers me and the bike I bought 5 years ago. Don't forget about the bikes. They have more bikes on the floor than any other place I've been. read more

My wife and I went looking for a slingshot and found out there's only a few places that sell them locally. So we went to look at their stock and see what they had. We did find the sales person kind and informative. After finding one we liked and brought it home with all the warranties we could get because after paying what we did we didn't want to have to pay for stupid stuff afterwards. Overall, happy process with the sale. A few months later we found a slice in the tread of our rear tire and decided to take it in because we had a warranty. After two weeks of them having it they told me that it would be replaced at a prorated price and said I'd owe $180. Not horrible, but I had a warranty!! After paying for that and driving for a few days I found that the rear end was not feeling right. So I take it in to see if they did something wrong. Nope, they tell me it's an alignment issue and I need to pay $160. Funny how it worked great before the tire was replaced. In review, sales is nice but they lie. The warranties they sold me doesn't cover anything. And the service center is a bunch of swindlers. read more

I brought my snowmobile in for service and couldn't be happier. I thought I needed an oil change and they actually told me that my oil was fine. That saved me $180 bucks! The service manager did an outstanding job of showing me what he thought needed to be done to the sled to prep in for the winter riding season. I will be bring my sled back for all my future service! read more

I've now purchased 2 motorcycles from Engelhart and have had service done there several times. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a new motorcycle, ATV, Snowmobile, etc.. check them out. I have never felt pressure to buy, and when I did the process was smooth and quick. Recently I worked with Colin on my purchase and he even came in on his day off to deliver my bike so I could get riding in because the upcoming weekend had great weather. I was very unimpressed with Engelhart's service center. I called from work one day because my engine light came on on my Victory motorcycle and got the feeling I was a great bother to the person I was talking with. When I asked if they would be able to plug it into the diagnostic reader I was told yes, but it would cost $60 or so just to plug it in! I was about to head out on a big trip so I decided it was best to know what was going on so I set an appointment. When I got there for the appointment I met a tech, and told him what was going on. He told me that Victory's don't store the error codes, and they would charge me $60 to plug it in but nothing would probably show up. He suggested that instead I leave it there for them to take a few hours and go over. I was not about to leave it there and have them spend a "few hours" at their astronomical service rates so I declined and left. Once I got home I looked up other Victory dealers in the area and called two, each about an hour away, and told them the problem and they both told me it was most likely a sensor problem, but if I brought it in they could plug it in FOR FREE, and know what it was in about 2 minutes. I asked if Victory's stored error codes and was told that wherever I heard that they did not was 100% wrong. I took it to one of the dealers and had the bike looked at. The tech confirmed it was what he thought it was on the phone, and told me it was not an issue, only a nuisance, and to let him know if I got sick of it and they would take care of it for around $100. Long story short....I would not trust Engelhart to work on my Victory. I don't know if the tech was lying to me about the code's not storing, or if he just didn't know, but either way I was very unimpressed. Also, their labor rate is outrageous. I know they are a big dealer, and probably have higher costs, but that rate is crazy. One last thing. I am only giving the Service dept 1 star. I have gone to their parts and sales area many times for Helmet's, parts, etc and gotten exceptional service from the people there. My wife needed a helmet and the guy who helped us did a phenomenal job of giving us information on the fit, the right style, etc. If you need a part or any gear for your bike don't hesitate to stop in, but if you need service...I would look elsewhere. read more
