The food is already very expensive for takeout served in foam/plastic containers. At those prices, you should at least be able to expect courteous customer service. My family and I rented a house in Beach Haven for a week. We chose the Engleside Restaurant for one of our dinners. We went to several others, but this restaurant was by far the best. Our server (Avery) was amazing. Our food was fantastic. Ray's sushi is some of the best sushi we've ever had. We cannot recommend enough the Engleside for your visit to Beach Haven. read more

The service is also great, as everyone was incredibly friendly and attentive. As I mentioned, well definitely be back for takeout and even to dine in (it's BYOB!!!).

The side of cole slaw was delicious. My sister had the original crab cake sandwich which she loved, and my husband ordered a sautéed mahi sandwich with fries and a beer. He was very happy, and said that it was probably the best mahi he'd ever had. We arrived at about 2p.m. without a reservation to find the dining room packed, so we're happy to sit at a shared outdoor wooden picnic table next to the bar truck. It's that popular! Nothing fancy about this place except the prices and good quality seafood.
