After adding more espresso
Ana G.

As much as I have loved enigma i recently stopped at the Tarzana location To get myself a Lovers Addict Well the cup was so white with so much milk it was more milk than anything .... Like if I ordered a cup of milk I know it has milk but not when it's super white and tastes like milk only. The barista saw how white it was he added another half a shot of espresso it was still so milky/white but I didn't want to say more I took it like that. I've had so many in the past they were perfect not so milky lately the milk portions are out of hand. Last week I stopped at this location Sherman Oaks Was there at 3:20 pm to get me another Lovers Addict. I said let me try again... Barista said the espresso machine was closed he could do my lovers addict with cold brew.... I needed caffeine bad I told him go ahead I'm not a fan of cold brew ... And yup sure thing I wasn't pleased but I had paid for it I was not going to throw it away. 2 not so great experiences back to back Makes me double think if I should stop throwing away my money like that. In the picture posted it's a cold brew "lovers addict"

This coffee place is inside a building so you might have to either park at verizon or get your parking stamp in :) Taste: YUM YUM they do know how to make delicious coffee. The extraction was perfect. This location is smaller but cute. Thumbs up because is not crowded and you get your coffee quickly. Service was good too!!

$5.50 for a "blueberry" muffin.... Where are the blueberries?

" . . . Their coffee is absolutely delicious!" "Some of the best coffee in SFV" "Greatest coffee shop in Van Nuys" Yup, these are actual comments made by other reviewers for what is possibly not just the saddest coffee in SFV, but one of the blandest and most overpriced I've had anywhere. When you order a "Mexican Spiced Mocha" you should expect a little chocolate, a little spice, some bitterness from the coffee, richness from the milk . . . What you should not be drinking is just hot milk with grainy espresso throughout the cup and absolutely no "mocha" flavor let alone any spice. And that cup of milk was $6.75. $5.50 for a blueberry muffin that hardly has any blueberries except for maybe the 2 used to garnish it? I can't fault them entirely since it's clear the pastries aren't made in house, but cmon source them from somewhere decent. Hell I'd be happy paying for a single muffin from Costco instead of wherever this came from.

While it has taken me a few tries to figure out where the coffee shop was due to the way parking looks, I'm so glad I just took a risk and went in today! I went in thinking I would get a mocha....but the gentleman working suggested the Monday special which was a Salted Vanilla Oat-milk iced latte and pastry for 9$. Since I was trying the place for the first time I just said yes and happy I did. The SOMVL is delightful, blueberry muffin very nice, will try a croissant next time! Heads up to get your parking ticket validated. They make their own syrups which is a huge difference compared to others. Service was excellent 10/10!

Good drinks This location is tiny but great! It is located in a big building that has different offices. Parking is a bit strange, it is in a structure but you can get it validated. The coffee itself was good. The iced chai was refreshing and sweetened perfectly.

Had the answer been no, I would have moved on to my other top choice or second choice or whatever. 20 min later my plate arrived with no white meat. I saw 4 pieces - all small and two were clearly a wing and drumstick and I assume the other was a thigh cut in half. I checked it to see as it was dark in the restaurant by touching it. My mom and I were sharing and she was going to eat the dark meat but the server wouldn't take the food back because I had touched it. Well that was it for my OCD, wait a do you re a serve food? Of course I touched it, I was the plate I ordered and I was looking for the white meat that was supposed to be on the plate. I just wanted her to bring me my proper order by bringing me a breast or tenders. She didn't have to remove the food. That was enough to mar my experience with them. She did bring me a piece finally. Also 7 dollars for drip coffee is outrageous. The drink prices and food prices are in separate worlds. The food pricing and taste were good. The service was mediocre. Because then she pawned us off on her coworker.

Instantly grabbed my attention and I had to try. Ordered: Coconut Cream Top ($8) Vanilla Einspanner Latte - iced ($7) Vanilla Einspanner Latte- hot ($7) Both drinks were delicious but the Vanilla Einspanner Latte was amazing. I let my girlfriend try it who had ordered the Coconut Cream Top, and she loved it as well. The cream top was the perfect amount of sweet and was really lite; making it the perfect cap (or top) to a coffee drink. We liked it so much we made sure to come back and each order one before heading back out of town, lol. It's official my favorite coffee drink now and I hope I can find a coffee establishment back home, that can do somethinf similar. Overall: Great coffee shop with amazing drinks. I would 100% come back if ever back in the Woodland Hills area again.

No bathroom unfortunately - closest public restroom is 5 mins walk

The sauteed onions and peppers amplify the savory dish, the poached eggs are not runny, and the whole plate is enlivened by the mildly spicy "Santa Fe" Hollandaise sauce. There was a small side of fresh fruit. We both had to take some of the benny home, as there was too much to finish and it was just too good to leave behind! You order at the counter and grab a seat in one of the many seating areas (indoor and out). We opted for al fresco dining right on Tujunga Avenue, because sitting under the trees and watching the world go by is one of the most pleasant aspects of Aroma! But there is also greenery of every type in the back and side areas, too. Don't worry too much about the line. After you order and grab a table, the servers bring out your coffee/tea orders promptly, and the food comes quickly thereafter. Servers are busy but friendly and accommodating. There are a lot of enticing choices on the breakfast/brunch menu, so we look forward to returning to Aroma.

I told her I wanted to try a cute little place and what does she recommend. She gave me choices and we settled on Aroma Coffee & Tea. She did give me fair warning that there was going to be a line on a Saturday and there for sure was. I will have to say that the line was worth it! I got the burger with bacon and that this was ginormous! The fries were perfect! My cousin got the chiliquiles which also looked so good! And the dessert case was AMAZING! A lot of gluten free and vegan options. I'm always hesitant about those options but the vegan biscoff cinnamon roll looked delightful that I had to give it a try. I got it to go to share with my husband. Let me just say that this one cinnamon roll could single handedly convert me to a vegan! It was everything and so much more! It was to die for! I still dream about it. I cannot wait to go back and try other food which I can pretty much guarantee it will be everything and so much more!

The place is pretty bare bones when it comes to decor, I'm talking only 1 small framed poster in the corner of the restaurant and the large shared wall has nothing on it. Food, I ordered the matcha pistachio latte. It came out quick, they have about 3 baristas working the coffee while they have one cashier. My drink looked great and tastes fantastic, I am a big fan of matcha and pistachio so this was nice. The drink is surprisingly THICK, so I have to take my time with it. It's very heavily matcha flavored with bits of crumbled pistachio on top of it. It's very good, however the only thing I'd have to warn about is that this drink, which is about the size of a Starbucks iced grande, cost $8.50. So it's a bit pricy for a standard drink, but it's the most expensive one on their menu (I believe). They have standard coffee, lattes, etc plus pastries that they can warm up as well. Overall it's nice, definitely a place to check out and try
