Based on some of the photos I've seen of other Hello Kitty Cafes, this is probably one of the smallest and most bare bones one. No indoor seating. You order from a counter and there are a couple of tables out front. The good thing is that several of the tables had umbrellas attached that provided shade. The menu was very limited. Nothing stood out to me so I decided just to get the Strawberry Lemonade that had a hint of mint to it. It was actually quite refreshing on a hot day. The drink was pretty sweet but that is how I like my lemonades so no complaint there. The price was on par with the fact that it is a Hello Kitty branded cafe at a tourist location. All in all, the drink was decent but I wouldn't go out of my way to stop there. But at least my Hello Kitty loving friends got some photos and a kick out of me hanging out there.

They have you take off your shoes but they have a some "socks" for ya and a shoe rack and a place to hang your purses. I love that they let the cats in the bathroom if they wanna hide or get some space (so put the toilet seat down!) What a great place to relax with kitties or come with some friends for a hangout

We arrived at the cafe on our reserved time and walked to the ordering area. There were two lanes open but moves super slow as they prepare the drinks at the counter for everyone. We waited about 10 minutes to put in our order. In the menu they had some starter items, burgers, pastas, desserts and drinks. Some souvenir dining sets were available for purchase too. After ordering our meal, we walked into the dining area. The whole space was imitating the world of Toadstool. It was really cool to see. But we had to wait around 20 minutes to get our food. I stick to my usual: Small Iced Moody Latte (pistachio latte with strawberry cream top) and they perfect it every time. Perfect amount of sweetness with the strong taste of espresso. My wife and I have been married for 50 years, and throughout our marriage we have had all kinds of pets--dogs, rabbits, and cats. We have always loved and cared for our animals, and they have all lived out their natural life spans. In fact, we currently have a one-year-old cat whom I brought home from a shelter last year. Last week, I visited CatCafe Lounge and immediately fell in love with one of the cats. I wanted to give her a loving home. We own our home, already have a well-cared-for cat, and have a long history of responsible pet ownership. Nevertheless, my adoption application was rejected without any explanation. When I asked why, they would not give me a reason. I can only assume that our age may have worked against us. As you might have guessed, my wife and I are senior citizens. I find it disappointing that our age could be considered a reason to deny us the opportunity to adopt, especially given our long history of loving and caring for animals. CatCafe Lounge is certainly a wonderful place to visit and interact with cats. But if your intention is to adopt, be aware that even with a stable home and a long history of responsible pet ownership, there is no guarantee that your application will be accepted.
