First time i went my nails all started peeling off on the sides within a week. I went to ask for a redo and someone told me to make an appointment which i did and need to pay tip. I showed up and she said she's not done with her current customer and i need to wait 1hr 30mins and to just walk around. I waited and i told her i just don't want the nails to peel again and she said " if i do it it will never chip or peel trust me" and guess what after 3 days on of my nail started chipping again. Overpriced but I guess you're paying for the convenience and modern setting. Enjoy is located right off the 7 train & LIRR. I walked in on a Friday night and was helped right away. $20 for a basic manicure is pretty absurd, but I guess it was worth the extra few dollars to not have to wait to get my nails done on a Friday night. Let's see how long the polish last. The staff was friendly and checked on me as I dried. Everyone around me was getting tips and gel, they have lots of color options. I normally come here for my nails when I am in flushing (and they were great) but this time I was extremely disappointed. The nail technician did not show me my nails and didn't even check them while trimming them. I noticed the thumbs were super uneven. I also usually get regular mani pedi because they usually last 2-3 weeks. The lady was trying to get me to do gel but I stick to getting my regular nails done. I've been coming here for over 9 years and the quality of their work and customer service continue to get progressively worse. Went for a fill in and despite having an appointment they told me I'd have to wait 30+ minutes. After pointing out missed spots and uneven nail shaping more than halfway through the appointment, I decided to give up on having a nice set. When it was time to pay, the technician wasn't happy with my tip and called 2-3 other people over to pressure me into tipping at least 15% for a crappy job (cuticles looked untouched, bumpy nail polish, ect.). I got my nails done here with a friend, and we both love our nails! I would definitely recommend making an appointment ahead of time although they do welcome walk-ins. Overall, I had a great experience here. I got a gel manicure done with designs. I showed the nail technician what I wanted and she produced exactly what the pinterest photo looks like. This is my very first time getting my nails done at a salon. I usually do my own nails because I am nervous someone would trim my cuticles incorrectly and I would end up bleeding. The nail tech I had do an amazing job with my cuticles. I wanted a gradient design which I understand from personal experience that it's a little difficult to have a seamless blending. Close up you can see the imperfections but it's fine from afar. I could tell she was putting in a lot of effort to blending and I really appreciate that! But that ended up with a lot of layers and the end result was thicker and some lumpiness. Especially on my left ring finger :( Or maybe the lumpiness is from the glitter layer. Other then the lumpiness and thicker than I prefer; it's pretty and I am happy she didn't rush the process! Also she was gentle with my hands and nails. Side note, my nail tech didn't speak much English but I came with my friend that spoke mandarin so she helped me translated. The nail tech my friend had did speak English though. I came here for a pedi and my friend got a gel mani and pedi. They took forever to take us, and after each process, they kept stopping went to another client then came back to us. For instance, she would take off my toe polish, go away and do another client, come back then do a bit more, go away, come back do a little more etc. same thing for my friend and another worker was doing her. They kept switching workers and it was really annoying. Unimpressed and overly expensive. Also they did the bare minimum, they barely even scrubbed my feet to rid of the callous. I've always admired my BFF Aileen W.'s nail art, and I finally got the chance to try it out during my NYE trip to NYC. We made the trek to Flushing to visit Enjoy Nail & Spa, which is located in New World Mall on the second floor. Although I had to wait a little bit, I'm glad I did because my nail technician (I believe her name was Joanne) did a great job! She was nice, patient, and took her time with each nail. I opted for a black gradient calgel manicure with glitter. (Please see my photo in addition to Aileen W.'s gorgeous nails) Even though this is a Chinese salon, all of the employees speak English! They also use brand new tools, which was a big relief to me because I'm always cautious of unsanitary salons. My nails were extremely uneven before I came into the salon, and Joanne filed and shaped all of them to look even! I also asked for decorations to be added onto my middle finger and my fourth fingers on each hand, and there were a bunch of different ones to choose from. (I opted for bows because they were cute!) So something has changed at this palace it seems to be under new management or something because the prices and customer service have definitely changed. I've been going here for about 2 years now and went to get a get a gel pedicure last week. ( Haven't been here a little over a month due to traveling) when I stepped in the place looked different they did a bit of renovating and rearranging of the furniture it seems but I saw a few familiar faces so I thought nothing of it. The pedicure was great, they do a great job I'll say that much, but when it came time to pay, they changed me $55 for a gel pedicure which is way more than it was before, I asked if I could send the payment through Venmo so I wouldn't be charged the tax and the guy behind the counter said they'd still apply tax, lol but why? It's not getting reported to fhe govt why am I paying tax for your business? Then he proceeded to ask me if the tip will be on the card. I've never been asked this before idk why they assumes people are REQUIRED to tip, plus don't assume I won't, I felt like this was super distasteful and the business feels like it's just run now by people who don't care about customer service but just trying to nickel and dime you. They close at 9pm (I get out from work at 5-6 in the city) and they do these unique designs that I just had to try something new. I come here about once a month to get my nails done and for a new change in color gel. They're pretty consistent on service and their work on nails. Would be 5 stars but my last experience is where there the star is deducted. I came in for my usual gel manicure and regular pedicure. When entering, I told the girl what I'm in for already. When you're doing gel mani and regular pedi, they would do pedis first and the mani after so they can buy time to wrap the gel nails for removal. Pedis are good here, they're thorough and good. Mani's depending on the person, if you have intricate detail designs, only certain people can meet expectations and others that aren't good in detail design can be a hit or miss. I recommend finding your go to person if you want special designs. Otherwise if you're doing something simple with not design, anyone is good. So the last time I came here, I arrived before this other person but she was done before me. I mention regular pedi and gel mani but somehow this missed hearing me say gel mani. I used to go to the Enjoy Nail & Spa I, which is right next door (2nd fl in the New World Mall) but since this 3rd location (with good reviews and pics) just opened up not too long ago, I decided to take my friend here to give it a try. Mind you, if you go in the morning right when they open, there's only 1 or 2 staff available and they may or may not be proficient at what you want/ what they do. Not to mention, the language barrier between me and the staff because they barely speak English. Luckily, I was able to understand what they were saying and my friend spoke their language and translated for me. Even so, they were still confused at what we wanted while we showed them a pic from their page. I also noticed there's no price list anywhere or description of their services in the salon so you're kind of flying blind while they can basically make up whatever price they want. They do however, give you a breakdown on approximately how much it will cost but final price will be revealed at the end when you're done. What their charging is definitely overpriced and it's not one of those "you get what you paid for" nor well known salons, this is a chain in Flushing. Nail salons in Flushing are a dime in a dozen. $60 for a full set of acrylic tips (normally it's around $35-$40), additional $40-$50 for gel and designs are per finger, 2 for $5. So 3 hours later, our nails were finally done and it was time to pay...it was about $200 for the both of us, which is overpriced but it's fine since the nails came out pretty decent and my friend liked it even though mine were not so good looking, bumpy and smeared... What got me angry was, my friend handed her nail tech, Lisa a tip and the tech had the nerves to say to my friend (in her language), "you are required to leave a 20% tip" so this is not enough (handed my friend back the bills) and made her tip $20...is this right? Also, I found out this place charged me double what they charge at the first location I used to go to. Honestly, we felt that the service was horrible from beginning to end with disorganized and condescending staff. We waited 30 minutes for no reason while they were making phone calls and washing the towels, no water was offered to us (but to other customers), my friend's nail tech nicked her cuticles twice and I'm not even going to start with my nail tech, she's clueless. Never again, I don't recommend this location...I rather go elsewhere for good service, staff that speaks English and for that price, I can get so much better. read more

Review for mani/pedi only. I was unaware that there were 3 branches, 2 in Flushing and 1 in Fresh Meadows until I saw their business card. I went to this branch in the New World Mall and enjoyed my experience. My manicurist was pretty quick to the point and very customer oriented. Each one differs in their methods, so just be wary of what you're missing out on. For example, I got a foot scrub, but my friend didn't. And then later, she got a hand massage and I nothing. We both still paid about $28, and it didn't really make a big difference. From what I could see, there were/are no specials for a mani/pedi. What I will give props for, though, is how the receptionist is wary of how dry your nails are. Like when my friend and I were about to leave, she stopped us and said, "Five more minutes." Listen, if I'm not being rushed out of a nail salon, I already like the place! Just an FYI - there is no restroom there, even though you are deceived when they tell you to wash your hands in the sink before your manicure. The room in the back that I thought was the bathroom is their massage room. All the technicians are super professional and clean, they use sterilized utensils and when you are doing manicure and pedicure, they use different sets of utensils, so that's really good (other places they use the same ones for one person) Sherrie the owner is super nice and welcoming, always open to assist you with everything you ask. There are two nail salons in the New World mall. One of them is behind the candy store, with a lot of idle works and an amateur sign. I decided to go into this one instead since it seemed busy with customers. Wrong choice. I chose a buff pedicure. My technician spoke to be in broken English until she realized I can understand a bit of Mandarin. - She kept pulling my feet and it jabbed her chest a few times. Awkward. - She did not wear gloves. (Is she licensed? Probably not.) - She's fast and carelessly buffed off my ankle skins. I need band-aids on my ankles for a week. - Chairs were wet and slimy. - I had to get out of my chair for my paraffin because there were no extension cords. And someone else took my chair and I was relocated to the next sticky chair. - She rushed and messed up on the polish a couple of times. The first two three times I felt like the owner Alex was giving me his "best" but after my last session with him, the UV gel fell off in two days and when I went back to get it fixed he just looked at it and gave me someone else to fix it without an apology. The other guy did a horrible job fixing it. They are EXPENSIVE! I've been getting my nails done for yearsss from different places all over NY and they are the most expensive place but I still choose to go there because I thought the people were nice and Alex did a good job but the last time I went he took two and half hours doing a simple open heart design and he didn't even do it the way it looked in the picture and didn't think to discuss the design with me? I had a french mani and pedi. It was done quickly. For the pedicure, she used a quick sugar scrub on my legs. I have very short toenails on my pinky toe. The manager was doing someone else's toes and she asks him how she can draw the white line on my pinky toe. What the...? After the pedicure, I hobbled to the nail station. The manicure was done rapidly. I picked a light pink color and it was not applied evenly upon further inspection. After the manicure, she led me to a cramped space to dry my nails. The base for where your hands are supposed to rest is super oily. I held my hands mid-air. For $29, I really expected more. My nails chipped in 2 days. I've had better experiences in other places.
