The staff was very attentive and willing to tell us what they're specially known for. We ordered the papaya salad by far the best papaya salad I had in years! Then I had a lychee and pineapple curry. By far the most scrumptious, sweet and sour curry you could have! If you love spice, this place is giving you authentic spice temperature to others! My friend had the Tom Ka and the generous portion of muscles made us fall in love with this beautiful decorated store! Don't forget, they have breakfast and coffee, which I would love to try when I'm in the area! I got the chicken drunken noodles, no veg. Spice level 2 out of 4. It was $19.45 which felt a little expensive for what I got. The chicken was good, not too chewy. Portion size was fairly small. It had a strong basil taste. It was spicer than a level 2. The spice and basil was all i tasted. Most likely won't be back as there are way better Thai places in the area...

I ordered 3 dishes and all were from the lunch special menu which came out to be about $10.95 each. All of them came with an egg drop soup, small salad, and veggie egg roll. The soup was pretty flavorful but a little too thick sometimes I felt like it was the texture of mucus lol. The salad had a really good dressing similar to honey mustard. However I wasn't a fan of the veggie eggroll. Pad Thai 9/10: this was prob the best dish that was in the lunch special menu. Size wise and taste wise it was great! Super flavorful and it came with more than the other lunch specials. Pepper beef 5/10: the flavor was really good! However I counted and there was only 5 pieces of meat and the rest was bell pepper and onions. This dish def would not get anyone full. Basil beef Kaprow 7/10 this dish was a bit too salty but the portion was okay. You definely need the rice to balance out the saltiness. Overall it's great to support this mom and pop shop and their food is not bad. However just some kinks here and there can be fixed with maybe less salt and bigger portions.

I went on Friday for the first time in many months. They had an entirely new menu, with a lot of new items and higher prices. I ordered my favorite, the soft shell crab fried rice. Normally this is amazing but this time it was very bland and the crab was not fresh, at all. This is a shareable item, but $55. Crazy! We also ordered a new duck item. Half duck served crispy. This was a more expensive version of the same exact dish I got there before. Nothing new and nothing fresh as this just tasted bad. I love duck and I had to smother it in sauce to get it down. The only thing that saved the meal was the panang. They always make this well and this time we sprung for the upgraded rib option, which was very good and the only thing that didn't taste in the verge of expiration. The menu is nice and creative but it seems like the same items just not fresh and more expensive. I'm wondering if they just aren't busy enough and holding food longer than they should or using frozen items that you can't get away with passing off as fresh. I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon. At these pricea and declining quality, there are much better options, which is sad because I really liked this place and have gone so many times over the years.
