When I emailed and asked why more expensive then the dealer, I was told they charged what they needed to charge to make a profit. BUYER BEWARE, this place is expensive and, in my opinion, unethical. I should have gone to the Ford dealer. And I did, I took the same car to Ford in Huntington Beach just last week, and NO Charge. How about that, no charge from a dealer. shop around, get your quote, and call around and check the $$$ numbers. Some people also don't look at the reviews, which would be me. Expensive mistake. The OWNER responds that they provide a 2-year warranty, which is why they are more expensive. Well if the work you provide doesn't last for 2 years, you have still covered your time and effort, but not for the client, we still need to come back and have the work done again, we lose time, but because your MORE expensive, your time is covered. Life is a series of patterens, how many folks need to come back for warranty work? You have numerous bad reviews lately. You need to spend more time taking care of your clients and less time making commercials.

Schmidty's also honors their warranties. Recently, I got a message on my dash board that my tire pressure was low in one tire. It was from a nail or screw. Schmidty's replaced it under warranty. They warranty all their tires. Last week, my car wouldn't start. I got it jumped and learned it was down to 11 percent. I was encouraged by the roadside assistance technician to purchase a replacement battery with a three year life, but I chose to take it to Schmidty's out of loyalty. My four year old battery turned out to have a five year warranty and Schmidty's replaced it. Yes, there was labor, but the new battery was no charge. My previous experience for 20 years was with other service companies because I drove a fleet vehicle and was required to use certain brands. I don't recall ever being told something that needed replacing was under warranty. That is why Schmidty's shines, in my mind. I did not have to point out the warranties; they brought them to my attention. They also saved me having to get my vehicle towed by allowing me to drive it with them right away so the tire went flat and the battery died on their property.

The part itself wasn't expensive, but they insisted the labor was extensive and pressured me into getting it repaired immediately. not trusting my instincts but also needing my car back quickly, I went ahead with the repair. About a month later, I found out the issue was actually related to a recall. That meant I could have had the entire repair done at the dealership for free. What makes it worse is that they clearly knew something was up they even told me they had to contact the dealer for information. Because of that, I ended up paying a couple THOUSAND dollars I didn't need to spend. In hindsight, they were aware it was likely a recall and didn't disclose it properly. Very shady experience definitely go somewhere else.

My daughter and I have both used Dennis to service our cars. I will never go anywhere else. He's a great mechanic and knows his stuff. The first time I went to Dennis was because of a smog read out that didn't pass due to my engine light being on. I was told by another mechanic that it was due to my transmission. It was recommended that I get a second opinion from Dennis. I actually read the smog print out results to him over the phone and he told me it had nothing to do with my transmission but that it was a chip that cost fifty dollars and to bring it over. He had it fixed in no time and my car passed smog with no problem. Recently I had my car towed to his shop and told him I needed to have him replace my water pump. Again, he didn't replace my water pump because that's not what it needed. Wow an HONEST mechanic that KNOWS HIS STUFF. Thanks Dennis read more

Every time I come here I am shocked at how reasonable the prices are. They are also super honest on what needs to be done and what can wait. For instance, another mechanic told me my spark plugs needed to be fixed immediately. Enjoying mechanics was like, that can definitely wait. 5 years later, my car is completely fine without that fix. They won't charge for easy fixes like turning off check engine light either. One time, I told them I wouldn't be able to pick up my car until 5:05 (they close at 5) and they waited for me to get there to get my car instead of making me wait a day. They have also shipped specific Mazda parts for my car even though they didn't originally have them. This is the only mechanic I can trust and afford. As long as I'm in o.c, they will be my go to. read more

Dennis does great work and is the only honest car guy in Southern California as far as I'm concerned. He always gives me better prices and quotes than the competition... and he sticks to them. Once, I took my car in because it was making a noise and he thought he fixed it but the noise came back the next day - so I called him... he told me to bring it back and he fixed it at no extra charge even though it was a more expensive repair than he originally diagnosed. Taking my car to Dennis was one of my best decisions. With an older car that's nearing it's end, mechanics can easily "find" problems that don't exist. He let me know that I was going to need a new brake system within the next few months, but assured me that the brakes would last long enough for me to purchase a new vehicle. I would definitely recommend going to Enjoying Mechanics to get your car fixed. Dennis is a great mechanic and a great guy! I have been taking my Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution their for a two years now. Not only has he helped me with routine oil changes, but has also helped me out with putting mods on my car. The work is fairly priced, he is able to get hold of parts quickly and has always completed the work correctly first time and, importantly to me, the same day. My check engine light came on, so I brought my car in and found out it was my catalytic converter. Before jumping straight to the most expensive option, they first tried cleaning it out to see if that would fix the issue. Unfortunately it didn't, so about a week later I came back to have it replaced. I was really stressed because I couldn't afford the repair out of pocket, but they were incredibly helpful and told me about Technet, a credit card specifically for auto repairs. I applied and was instantly approved. They even fixed my car and waited for my card to arrive in the mail before I paid them in full. What really stood out to me was how kind and patient everyone was. They explained everything clearly, what the problem was, what caused it, and how they were going to fix it. They even paid for my Uber rides to the shop and from work while my car was in the shop, with no extra charge. It's hard to find honest and caring auto shops, especially when you don't know much about cars, but they made the whole experience so much less stressful. Whenever I need service again, I'll definitely be coming back.

The owners were easy to talk to, explained things clearly, and even showed a video of what was wrong. Inspection was $130 + 4% for card, so bring cash if you can. After the inspection, for the repairs I chose to get the front engine mount and brake pads done. I left, came back within 38 minutes, and paid about $700 cash, around $835 total for everything. Pricing felt fair. Shop is in a rough area and the waiting space is basic, but fine. Only thing I didn't like: they didn't show me the old parts or the new ones (motor mount or brake pad boxes). It looked like new work was done, but I'd feel better seeing that upfront. Next time I'll ask. Overall, solid experience. Nice people, fair work, that's what matters. I'd go back.

I contacted AAA for a tow and before I knew it my vehicle was at Sigma. Within a few days my vehicle was completely fixed and back on the road. During the repairs Sigma communicated with me along the way with updates and they kept me in the loop throughout the process. I'm thankful for the great service I've experienced at Sigma Auto.

My van's TPMS sensor light was on and I had taken it to another tire shop where all they did was check the air pressure and tell me if the light didn't go off it was probably my sensors. And then what? Super unhelpful. So I got on Yelp to search for another option and Gear Up Tires came up. I sent out a message to several shops and Iman was the first to respond and dealing with her was so easy. She was so helpful from the beginning, I just got a good feeling. I dropped it off today with Danny at the scheduled time and he was very open and clear about what he would be doing, how long it would take, etc. I left and shortly thereafter I got word from him letting me know what my van needed and sent pictures of the sensor readings. I was pleasantly surprised and helped me communicate everything with my husband along the way as well. Prices were clear cut and fair and he didn't do or push any unnecessary work. When I stopped in to pick my car up, he went over everything with me and showed me how he also polished my van's cloudy headlights as an added service! Highly recommend this place.
