Garlic Shrimp Linguini - perfectly seasoned with a nice amount of large, delicious shrimp.

Don't fall asleep on Enrico's. It's been around for 50 years, and once occupied a larger space on the very busy corner of LaGrange Avenue and Rt. 30 in Frankfort, IL. There's plenty of competition in this area, and when they moved to the smaller, cozier spot they occupy now, I kinda forgot about them. Shame on me because we recently had a wonderful meal on a very crowded Friday evening. Granted, the space itself is pretty small, but we got there at 5:30 and waited about 20 minutes for a table for 3. Happy to report that it was worth the wait. Our server Kahleah was prompt, friendly and attentive, so our service was very good. We ordered a bottle of Italian wine and began tackling their pretty expensive menu. My wife settled on the Friday special of Sautéed Lake Perch, I went with the Garlic Shrimp and Linguini with a bowl of the Clam Chowder and my mother had their famous Baked Minestrone soup and the Italian Street Tacos off the Appetizer menu. All of our food was absolutely delicious. My shrimp were huge, and perfectly cooked. My wife's perch was very light, flaky and delicious. Both of the soups were hearty and perfectly seasoned and the Italian Street Tacos were really flavorful, and a creative twist on a taco. As I mentioned earlier, there are plenty of dining options in this area, and probably 4-6 other Italian restaurants alone within a 10 mile radius. I've been to most of these places, and I would argue that Enrico's could be the best of them all when it comes to atmosphere, service, value, quality and overall taste of their food. There's definitely a reason why it's been a staple in this community for 50 years. We'll be back!!

Great family owned restaurant with friendly service and delicious food. Sue, the hostess, is very kind and friendly. We had dinner on a Friday night and started out with meatball appetizer which was good. My daughter loved the jalapeño Mac and cheese and I had the beef sandwich. I love how they serve it on garlic bread and provide a cup of au jus sauce for dipping. We also bought a pumpkin pie to go and it was awesome.

Great little Italian neighborhood restaurant. The atmosphere is inviting and comfortable. We had excellent service and great food. The owner even sent us a drink after the meal. I had the jalapeño Mac n cheese by recommendation of the server and it didn't not disappoint, I would definitely get that again.

So glad we stumbled upon this hidden gem. First off, who doesn't love a good old school Italian restaurant? It's cozy and casual ambiance are very inviting. The place was popping, and we felt lucky to get seated right away on a Friday at 5:30 pm. I am excited to go back with my kids and try their pizza. My husband and I enjoyed the happy hour drink specials and a shrimp Caesar salad as we got settled in. The dressing was most definitely homemade, I wished I could take some home. My husband had the meatball sub (tender, flavorful and placed on a delicious garlic bread) and I had the Italian beef sandwich, which was phenomenal. You just know good beef and when it's sliced in house, and this certainly was. I added cheese and peppers to take it up a notch. Long story short, HEAD TO ENRICOS and come hungry.

If you're in the mood for authentic Italian cuisine in a cozy atmosphere, Enrico's is where you need to be! I recently dined here, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. First off, the ambiance is warm and inviting, a perfect setting for a casual dinner or a special occasion. Now, let's talk about the service -- our server was an absolute gem! She had the perfect balance between being attentive and giving us space to enjoy our meal. They checked in just often enough to make sure our drinks were full and to see if we needed anything, but never hovered or interrupted our conversation. Honestly, it made for a stress-free dining experience. As for the food, I ordered the Pasta Enrico with a side of meatballs, and it was magnificent! The pasta was cooked to perfection, al dente and coated in a rich, flavorful meat sauce that had just the right amount of garlic and herbs. The meatballs had a delightful blend of spices and were incredibly tender -- the kind that makes you want to savor every bite. I could have eaten a whole plate of them! Overall, Enrico's hit all the right notes. With fantastic food, a charming atmosphere, and a service team that knows how to make you feel special without being overbearing, I can't recommend this place enough. I can't wait to go back and try more of their delicious offerings! Whether you're a local or just passing through, make sure Enrico's is on your list. You won't be disappointed! Which leaves with no other choice, but to give it an official Read Write Reviews five stars .

This was our first time trying Enrico's. We did carry out. That process was super smooth and easy. They brought it right to our car in front. Just a little disappointed to find out when we got home they forgot to give us the two added meatballs to our pasta. That was the one thing my son wanted to have for dinner. I didn't go back for them just because of the weather and I had 3 kids with me. But the baked mostaccioli and the Italian beef sandwich were delicious.!! We will definitely be giving it another try.

Tried for the first time and can't wait to go back and try more dishes! So good and reasonably priced too.

My glass of Merlot had Lasagna too with garlic bread yummy

Atmosphere had dimmed lighting with small accent Italian cultured decor aligned the walls. Very intimate and comfortable evening. My waitress named was Becca. She was very polite. Knew the menu well and even gave her favorite suggestions of entrees. She made sure I was comfortable the entire night and gracefully just served. I ordered the Dana's spaghetti, Caesar salad and for my appetizer I ordered the Bruschette con Spinaci which consisted mozzarella, fresh diced tomatoes, sautéed spinach and basil! So delicious! Everything was tasty and fresh! Definitely enjoyed the menu and outing. Good food great company and quality food! Always a great night! Check em out!

They also serve bread to start, which was extremely flavorful. Our table tried a variety of appetizers: bruschetta, salad, calamari. And for my entree, I got the carbonara. I know it'll be there by my next visit, which will be soon. A seller for me is homemade pasta with an option for gluten free. If it was organic it's a hard 5. No judgement though. Frankie's is the spot where you park up by 3:45/3:50 and wait for the doors to open as their hours are short, hot and sweet. This is a tucked away spot packing tons of flavor on the small menu(major hit). Locals pack this spot asap at the bar so be there by 3:45. Haha. The restaurant has nice decor and attentive friendly service. As the server comes to the table with heavy greetings, they run down the special menu. Drinks are always good, nothing intricate but enough to elevate the experience and hit hard. The appetizers are good. I enjoyed the calamari and shrimp as well as the octopus. But now to the star of the show is their pastas. FRIENDLY REMINDER, all are homemade. The Pappardelle w/ Wide Ribbon Pasta, Black Truffle Cream Sauce and Mushrooms is amazing.. I added the gluten free meatballs and yummy. A savory bite. The rigatoni vodka sauce(added sausage) was a hit. Another star of the table was the Linguine w/ Shrimp,Broccoli, Evoo and Garlic. A fully loaded plate. The Gnocchi w/ Ricotta Cheese Filling, vodka sauce.. added meatballs was another hit. The star of the show was our pizza which resembles a meat lovers with pepperoni, Sopressata and Giardiniera (which is more like a relish and I love). I've had other dishes but after multiple countless visits this is what I love at this time. The pizza is cooked in a high heat oven which gives the perfect char, let it settle for a couple minutes as it sits on the table. Overall, when in this part of Illinois hands down the place to be. Hours are only 4-9pm and that says a lot. My only insight would be ask for the bread to be served warm. I'm sure a fresh loaf in the pizza oven for a couple of minutes will go a long way. ENJOY!
