I enjoy Enrico's for what it is - a Mom and Pop place that has friendly service and decent pizza. But that is just it. The pizza is just ok for me. The crust is really nice, with a good crisp, but the sauce is forgettable and I find the house made sausage to lack flavor. I like supporting places like this and I wouldn't say no to a slice, but it isn't a place I'm going to go out of my way for. The first time I went to Enrico's Pizza in Dublin was 30 years ago with then girlfriend and her parents after bowling at AMF Sawmill Lanes (now Bowlero Sawmill). It is a thick crust pizza with stretchy cheese and it was delicious, my girlfriend and her staff enjoyed the pizza and we got medium Pepperoni and Mushroom. She ordered Garlic Cheese Bread that was yummy too. The place is small, but quaint. No fountain drinks, but they have can sodas. I had Diet Coke, my girl got can Lemonade, and her staff has Coca-Cola. The service was excellent and told the server and staff that I will be going back to Enrico's Pizza in Dublin soon. read more

Tried yesterday for the first time. There's a lot of hype about this place but the pizza didn't do it for me or my 2 companions. If you like the crisp crust style you may love. I prefer a softer doughier crust. I ordered a bambino (7"). Mushroom for me and my 2 companions shared a sausage & pep. They said the sausage as well as the pepperoni were tasteless. Again not my style but the one plus is the bambino size is pie cut which I prefer. Adequate amount of cheese. Another plus - sauce was not sweet. Server was nice and efficient just not very personable. Also on the menu were salads, subs and homemade pasta dishes. Everyone has their own opinion on what a good pizza is. Just because it was t. Yuuummmm!!! Got a pizza, meatballs and salad to go. The pizza is thicker crust and it appears they put their cheese on top of the toppings. It looks like extra cheese but isn't. Missing a bit of spice, but red pepper does the trick. We had pep and bacon, and it wasn't overly greasy. Yum! We also got two meatballs which are huge, dense and taste wonderful, the sauce they come with is the best...absolute best I've had yet. Tried Enrico's for the first time due to recommendations from a FB group for pizzas with a sweet sauce. In my opinion, the sauce was not sweet at all. It actually left a bitter aftertaste to me which left me not wanting to eat more than a square or two. The staff were nice. Everything smelled and looked amazing but this isn't the spot for me. While we have our typical places that we normally go to for pizza, after numerous friends have recommended this place we decided to switch things up and give it a try. As a place that's been given the title, "best pizza in Columbus" or even "best pizza ever" I will say that going in my expectations were a bit high. Having that, they did not disappoint. We ordered a large half cheese, half hot pepper and an order of garlic cheese bread. The pizza crust is not too thick, a little crunchy, without having too much sauce and a ton of cheese. I got a spaghetti dinner, and ordered the sauce on the side. The spaghetti as well as all of their dishes are made in house. They give you a ton of pasta, a meatball, as well as a side salad and bread which for a little over $10 is an absolute steal. This place was recommended by our hotel, Embassy Suites so we decided to try it. It was authentic Italian and Italians at our table thought so too. The noodles were homemade , so yummy. One of my table mates got the lasagna and was not disappointed. I got the ravioli with option for 2 cheese and 2 meat , the noodle dough was phenomenal and the sauce very tasty. We got gnocchi to share at the table and it was delicious. We wanted to try the meatballs so we got a couple of those and they were very good. Our waitress was great she was so friendly and surprised us with a small pizza to try because she wanted us to taste how great their pizza was , and it was. The cheese was wonderful, the crust crispy. They grate their own cheese and said they get it from Wisconsin. Even the cheese shaker had grated Romano. Enrico's is in my top 5 favorite pizza joints in the Columbus area. The quality is consistent and top notch. Orders are always correctly executed. This isn't your typical cracker-crust Columbus style pizza. Enrico's has a flavorful crust that is slightly thicker and chewier than a shop like Tommy's or Ange's. Cheese is flavorful, sausage and pepper are awesome. The double Italian sub is also a can't-miss. There is typically a 45 minute wait (or more) for pick-up, so plan around that. They hand make all of their pastas, meatballs, and sausages in house. If you've never been, I suggest the Ravioli, a meatball sub, and the sausage and cheese pizza. Their sausage is sliced, not crumbled and is delectable! The dining area is closed due to COVID, but their carry out is available with all of the social distancing regulations in place. This was our first time here. The OSU game was on and all the other restaurants we tried were packed. Besides us there were 3 other tables. It took 10 min for the waitress to see us and another 10 to get drinks. The pizza was good we ordered two small. Crispy crust and you could tell they use good quality cheese. We also ordered an Italian and meatball sub. The meatballs weren't balls they were broken down into a very thin layer of meat. When I order meatballs I want to bite into meat .The Italian sub had maybe 4 slices of very thin meat. They tasted ok but weren't worth the money in my opinion, all bread . Boyfriend and I ordered carryout. We ordered a small pepperoni, onion, mushroom, banana pepper & extra sauce pizza, meatball sub with onion added, and garlic bread. I personally think the crust on the pizza was bland, the sauce very basic and seemed watered down and was just ok. The meatball sub was on chewy bread and was cut up in pieces and smooshed together. (see pictures) Not much flavor. The highlight for me was the garlic bread. It was very flavorful and could have ate the whole order instead of the pizza or sub but I had to share. What a hidden gem and I have to some I am extremely impressed and my stomach is happy it was so good I almost couldn't stop. Then minute we walked through the door you could smell the aroma of amazing fresh oven baked pizza and I knew right away this could be something special. As I expected that pie came out piping hot super cheesy just cooked to pure perfection. I rushed right in for my first slice and oooooohhhh weeeeeee my stomach was singing like the angels in the heavenly choir. Everything we ordered was delicious freshly made and served with love. The service was okay, took a bit of standing at the counter to get noticed. A sign indicating to seat yourself would be helpful as it wasn't really clear if you were supposed to order at the counter. The pizza crust and sauce were pretty good, but the toppings fell well short of what is expected in a quality pie. The sausage was bland and the excessive (personal preference) amount of cheese was overcooked such that water was pooled on the surface of the cheese when the pie was served to me, indicating that they overcooked it. Because of that, the cheese was too chewy, almost to the point of a bubble gum consistency. Also, the unsweetened iced tea is pretty flavorless and appeared to be heavily watered down (based on color). Finally, and this is just a preference, but they use a party cut for their pizza, rather than a pie cut. read more

The place is run by an Italian family that works the back, in a shopping mall in an generic restaurant space. But Enrico's is the real deal. In a city that's already pretty stacked with great pizza options, you may ask yourself "do we need another one?" Well, we do. Because it's insane how good it is. Plenty of gooey cheese and toppings. The sauce is sweet, but you can clearly taste the tomatoes in there, not some chemically paste. Went in on a Thursday, had no problem getting a table as there are about 12 to 16 available, anywhere from a two top to six to eight top, place was three quarters full with carryout do8ng a brisk business. One waitress was working tables but had no problem at all handling everything, got to me within thirty seconds to get my drink order and I already knew what I wanted, she took order, got me my soda and salad very quickly, when I finished my salad my order was ready, lasagna was excellent along with everything else, the waitress even brought me another salad I liked the dressing so much.
