Tommy's Pizza has been around since 1952, and after trying it, I understand why. The cheese was perfectly balanced--not too heavy and not greasy. The crust had that satisfying crunch without being burnt, and the toppings tasted fresh and flavorful. I usually prefer a sweeter pizza sauce, but even though Tommy's sauce isn't sweet, it still worked. Everything was hot, fresh, and just plain good. What really stood out was the overall experience. The restaurant was very clean, and the cashier was friendly, welcoming, and helpful without being overly talkative. We were in the Dublin area so decided to give Tommy's a try. The staff were attentive and friendly even though they were somewhat busy. Not much to say about the ambiance as there is little decor and furnishings were fairly basic. The restaurant was clean but definitely showed some age. The food was decent but nothing special. As for the pizza, the crust was good but the sauce and pepperoni were lacking flavor. The cheeseballs were definitely different from anything we have ever had. They were crunchy and we definite could taste the cheddar cheese inside them. This would not be at the top of our list of pizza places in the Dublin area, but would not say we would never return. read more

Store doesn't take calls and the door dash driver answered and hung up. Called again and he answer but could care less and aid call the store. They are running a scam on people clearly and you get put into a catch 22 where you can't resolve it. The turkey sub was dried out and we threw it in the trash. It was terrible. Don't get ripped off by the driver and store team doing this to people. Save your money and go somewhere else . What a shame. It used to be iconic. Now it's terrible. Reported the charge to my bank as fraud and disputed it. This store was supposed to close in June this year. Wonder why? Just a shame that people are like this. Another excellent pizza from Tommy's Pizza in Dublin. I'm a creature of habit, so I ordered a large pepperoni and extra cheese pizza. The cheese on their pizza is incredible right out of the oven and just as good the next day. It's obvious that they use high quality ingredients. Their old world pepperoni, sauce, and crust are absolutely perfect! I am giving the pizza 5-stars because it is delicious; however, there are some things that I find disappointing. 1). The Dublin restaurant is my favorite Tommy's, but the location is not the best. Tommy's is tucked away in the back corner of a building wedged between two businesses. The parking lot is horrible and the building sits pretty far back from the road, so people new to the area or visiting may never discover one of best pizzas in Central Ohio. 2). Tommy's supplier isn't able to fulfill orders for certain items. Tommy's cannot help it, so I'm cutting them some slack. As result, they are not selling salads at this time and we told that salads and their incredible blue cheese dressing won't be available anytime in the near future. Major bummer because their chef's salad is one of my favorite salads and they have the best blue cheese dressing I've ever tasted. 3). This Tommy's restaurant is currently carry out and delivery only. They cannot find anyone interested in waiting tables, so their dining room is closed. So she was shocked for a moment - and said they'd remake the order (a simple pepperoni and jalapeño poppers). After a long hiatus from patronizing Tommy's, as well as a gift certificate, I tried Tommy's again. Just as disappointing as before. They don't offer dine-in any longer, particularly since covid. Delivery option is now available from Doordash. I tried ordering for pick-up via their online system. Online was a bit clunky. I grew frustrated with attempting to place my order because items I saw on their online menu were not listed via their ordering system. I gave up on their online ordering and decided to call direct. After calling direct multiple times and only receiving a busy signal, I gave up on that option too. They aren't too far from me. So, I figured I would drive over and just place my order in person and wait to carry out. They weren't very busy, but had a steady stream of Doordash drivers and customers. I learned the items I wanted to order via their online system were no longer offered. I ended up ordering a large pepperoni pizza with extra cheese. (Figured couldn't screw that up.) While I waited for my pizza, I continually heard exclamations of f-bombs coming from out of the kitchen. That was disconcerting. After about 15 minutes, my pizza was ready. On my way home, I had a piece of pizza and realized, they screwed up my order. Instead of what I ordered, I ended up with half pepperoni and half sausage. No extra cheese. The pizza was rather well done and dry. It will be a long time before I return to Tommy's, if ever again. They simply cannot get their act together here. Tommy's Pizza is a staple in our household and it's about time I show them some Yelp love. It's my husband's favorite and he is picky which says a lot about their taste and quality. Their crust is thin, lightly flaky and crispy. The sauce is flavorful but does not over power the cheese or toppings which is nice. We typically order the garlic cheese bread which I also like as it's never burnt or overly greasy. The meatballs and soups are also delicious. They even have tiny little parcels of parmesan cheese tucked in with your to go orders. Lately I have been ordering the vegetable which is enjoyable but is not quite as tasty as their Italian Wedding Soup that has been unavailable as of lately. The only things I would request it possible, as these are unprecedented times are the return of Italian Wedding soup and some chicken wings please. We will wait here patiently of course. I always knew there was a Tommy's Pizza in Dublin, but I didn't actually know where it was until today! Its definitely tucked back in the plaza and just looks like a part of Oakland nursery's campus. Well worth a visit though! Waitstaff was kind and quick and we were seated and served in a timely manner. I honestly think the pizza was better at this location than the one on Lane, but that could also be because we dined in instead of carrying out. The dining room could certainly do with some updates. It's very dated and does not have any decoration or color. At one point my fiancé remarked that he felt like we were in a retirement home. Been going to Tommy's pizza in Dublin for years. This is my last visit this evening. Quality of the pizza was horrible. Over cooked, very dry toppings were hard and crust so overcooked it separated from the pizza. $22 for a medium 3 topping pizza. I called to make them aware and get my money back, the girl that took my complaint said you can get a credit or return pizza and we can make a new one. I asked for a refund she put me on hold and came back on and said you need to bring pizza back after she just told me she could refund my money. I talked to a so called Manager, named Cody. He had zero customer service skills, less than pleasant and didn't care to hear what I had to say. I asked why the girl who took complaint told me she could refund my money and now he wants me to drive all the way back during rush hour and bring pizza back. No explanation! Ridiculous! Very flavorful pepperoni, small rounds crisp up too, and enough on the pie. Always comes out lava hot. Large parking lot, clean dining room, polite staff, usually quick service and fair prices. Tommy's pizza of perfection is what the box says and it's a perfect description! We had been traveling all day and were tired and hungry. We pulled up to find that the dining room is currently closed but we were able to order and carry out. We were given menus from a very polite lady bug ( dressed in costume for Halloween) and told the pizza would be ready in 12 minutes. We waited outside and the smell was heavenly. 12 minutes later our pizzas were handed to us and I was shocked at how heavy the were, a peek inside verified that deliciousness was waiting for me. We ordered a mushroom and a pepperoni pizzas. Each pizza was loaded with toppings. The mushrooms were fresh and the pepperoni the size of dimes. Delicious, flavorful and not greasy. I find a place to stand in the lobby, distanced from anyone by at least six feet, waiting for my pizza for at least fifteen minutes. Suddenly a waitress barks at me to move to the waiting room or stand in the vestibule. The waiting room was too full to socially distance and the vestibule is too small to socially distance. Then the manager, I'm guessing, accosts me and also barks at me to move. My explaining that I wouldn't rudely stand too close to someone in the waiting room fell on deaf ears with the waitress and the manager. 2. Don't bark at customers. Learn proper customer service and maybe even a bit of the customer is always right. Apparently that is a foreign concept to anyone under fifty. Although, the young woman behind the counter (white mask) came up with an albeit inconvenient solution, for me, but was fairly polite about it. 1. Don't tell me my pizza will take an hour when it will take an hour and a half. If you can't safely and responsibly handle the volume of business, cut down on the volume of business.
