Best quesadillas ever!!! Tortillas are so delicious and they are ready in a very timely fashion

I placed a phone order for two chicken quesadillas and arrived about 15 minutes later, which was the time I was given. The front cashier told me to go to the natural juice area to pay. When I went there, the employee said there was no order under my name because my ticket had been lost. This was careless and unprofessional. I was sent back and forth for an order that the staff failed to keep track of, which completely wasted my time. As a regular customer, this experience was extremely disappointing. My mother-in-law visited from Chicago, so we took her to one of her old favorite spots. I only found out about this place because of her. We all tried their tasty Energetico smoothie -- seriously, it's so good! I'm not exaggerating; I love it. Three of us each had one. After the smoothies, we moved on to quesadillas. I got a mushroom quesadilla, and it was awesome. My mother-in-law had a cecina quesadilla, and everyone else got a quesadilla De asada. Honestly, my son didn't really love his quesadilla, but that's okay -- it probably doesn't look super appealing to kids. Overall, everything was delicious. The staff was friendly, and even though they missed a few items from our order, it didn't ruin the experience. The only downside is parking -- it's terrible here! Great breakfast burritos! If you get it as shown with rice and beans it weighs at least 2 pounds! I get one with and one without. This is a nice spot with friendly people working behind the counter. The breakfast burritos are fresh so they take a minute, ham and eggs cooked to order. Definitely worth a try! read more

I used to love this place. But probably never coming back, paid $17+ for fresas con crema. They don't offer much anymore and it looks empty. Sadly whatever they're doing is not working for me. The crema tastes different & over priced. read more

The food is pretty good but the service is getting bad every day. Today, the lady that was at the register was really rude. She almost burn my mom with the food because she was in a bad mood and hurry. I notice that a few minutes after she gave us our food she clock out. She is a tall lady with a black curly hair. Burritos so huge, you can't pick them up to eat them! There's a reason they gave me a knife and fork. I cannot tell you how amazed I am at the amount of flavor and fresh ingredients in this food. Every dish came with a huge portion, made to order. Perfectly seasoned and prepared. You really can't go wrong choosing anything on the menu. The service was friendly, prompt and we felt extremely welcomed and valued. The place was immaculate, and we enjoyed the outdoor eating area. I'll definitely visit again when I'm in the area. This place is a hidden gem. The "IYKYK" kinda spot. Soo if you know this spot they have hand made tortillas. The portions are a good size and priced well. They also can hook you up with a side of nopal ensalada. Cactus salad is definitely recommend. The food if my peoples. A very potent super food. This is kind of like okra consistency. Hello all! It's been awhile since my last review and today I am basing this review solely on the food. It was BOOOOMB!!! I can not complain. At first not knowing they had eggs and crema on the inside and I'm not a huge fan of that I had them remake it. They were very generous about it so I can't complain. I did ask what was inside and they didn't tell me all of that was in it but from now on I know. I did experience a language barrier but they understood what I was saying so no issues there. I normally phone-in my orders if I want Mexican food from here. Based off of several reviews and even my co-worker who recommended this place to me, they take quiet awhile. Plus, the parking lot--if you even want to call that unfortunate piece of space a parking lot--gets easily occupied. Your best chances are street parking or going during off hours. As for the food, authentic and delicious and not to mention, the tortillas are made from scratch! My favorites are the ridiculously mouth-watering and hefty carne asada quesadillas, the carne asada or al pastor huaraches and the al pastor tacos. I really want to try so many more from their menu like the green chicken enchiladas, sopes and chilaquiles but, quite honestly, I love getting their quesadilla. One order of that is a meal in itself. I've never dined-in so I can't say anything about the customer service inside but I've yet to have any issues on the phone and they always ask if I want everything (cilantro and onions) on my orders. So I had no idea this place was here even though I'm a born and raised Anaheim local. And I'm glad my aunt finally showed it to me! This place is super authentic and there were only Mexicans in there so you know it's legit. They have two different stations where you can order smoothies/drinks and then another where you order the food. Food is made to order so it does take a little while to come out because they make the tortillas fresh and thick for the delicious quesadillas and the Tortas are freshly prepared. We came here for breakfast and it was soooo good! I am dreaming of the quesadillas still! I also ordered a freshly made tropical juice and they use delicious cut fruit to make it to order and are flexible if you ask for any additions which I did. Ensenada market is close to my father home and we usually pick it up when visiting! We love their sopes, and quesadillas. Service is quick and easy we normally do order pick up. Parking is awful so one of us gets out while the other drives around as the order is picked up! It is a pretty busy place especially during lunch and dinner hours but a small whole in the wall GEM I have dined in only a few times they have tables and chair set up for you to eat there if needed but it's definitely more of a pick up and go place! read more

My neighbor tipped me off about this place that makes authentic hand made tortillas, and as advertised they are great!. I had the carne asada huarache seem fresh and made to order..originally ordered the menudo but they did have any on this day not sure why as it was not posted anywhere what days its available. I had a carne adobada quesadilla but it didn't taste like neither cheese or meat I was disappointed when I opened it up. I didn't see much meat and it had no cheese other than the shredded cotija. I checked me receipt and I was indeed charged for a quesadilla... My kids got a carne asada taco and the meat looked undercooked. I had high hopes for this place. Oh yeah and my order took over an hour to be ready and there wasn't even many people there waiting. We also got a raspado (Diablo) from the other stand, the raspado was pretty good. The price was more reasonable on the raspado then the food. The wait time was so long we bought chips from the raspado stand and ate them while we waited for our food. I waited 20 minutes and food wasn't came out, so I asked a worker for my food. It seemed my order had not been placed but a worker told me food will coming out soon. While the parking is slim to none, the tacos are legit. I ordered 13 chicken tacos thinking they were street size for a surprise family lunch and they were half the size of my forearm it was only shredded chicken but whatever they did to make it was sorcery- amazingly good. Hands down one of the best Mexican food spots I have ever had. My personal favorite is the carne asada burrito with the extra green salsa! They pack the burrito with delicious beans, rice, asada and lettuce. But when the burrito is too big for my appetite, I get the carne asada quesadilla (which is just slightly smaller than the burrito lol) and it never disappoints.
