Their ceviche has great flavor, it's fresh and they hook it up! Their tostadas are perfect! They hook you up with roasted chiles with chili powder and they also have great fish tacos! I have brought a few guests and they're always satisfied! This place will be forever be my favorite place for fresh seafood! Parking can be challenging sometimes but it's worth it. Right down the street from my work which makes this a great option for me during the week! The Ensenada burrito with asada and shrimp is HUGE AND DELICIOUS. I was seriously impressed by the size of this burrito, only matched by the deliciousness! The ceviche was aggressively average, not great not bad. We tried all three of the shrimp ceviche and thought each were okay. The fish tacos were amazing as well! I can't wait to come back here and try what else they have to offer. I've been a customer of Ensenada's since around 2022, and this review is based solely on their new Crenshaw location. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the young lady behind the register. She was all smiles and radiated genuine enthusiasm, which immediately set the tone for a great experience. Everything on the menu looks tempting, but I stayed true to my favorite and ordered the Baja fish tacos. These battered tacos are huge, yet I still managed to conquer three of them. They were absolutely delicious!!! Perfect crunch on the batter, moist and flavorful fish, fresh tortillas, and a great slaw. It all comes together as the perfect combo. I also love that they offer all-you-can-eat seasoned yellow chilies and pickled onions, which are the perfect finishing touch for these tacos. Overall, this was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Great food, great service...this place truly rocks, and I will definitely be back. I love going to the Artesia location we always go for the battered fish/shrimp tacos. Super delicious. This location offers more parking space and there is more space and tables to eat inside as well. The hostess/cashier was super friendly and bubbly. Place was busy but not packed. The in and out flow was consistent. We ordered our usual and this time I decided to try the shrimp ceviche, first and last time. It was either super salty or super sour from the lime, very hard to tell but I couldn't keep a straight face with each bite I took, yes I still ate it and yes I finished it, it's not cheap! Although the servings are not humongous they aren't skipping & the prices are spot on. a little over 10 or $11 per plate and they are solid with the flavoring. Each taco swaddled, a crispy, battered fish fillet, and smothered with finely shredded cabbage along with some Crema. We opted out of the pico de gallo. And just chose extra cilantro. We think this is perfect in our eyes. We love that they have these roasted chilies on the bar that seem to be dusted with Tajin, or chile con limón. Don't judge me, I ate 4 of these fat juicy chiles. To wash down the nice spice, each of the taco plates comes with a drink - they have horchata and Jamaica on the refills - along with normal fizzy soft drinks. I actually did go to their Grand opening special and they did honor the special on the 2nd day. Was there a line out the door? Yes there was. Did the line go fast? Yes they did. After talking to the cashier, she said they ran out of fish the day before. Judging from the number of people going in and out of the place, they were swamped. Im pretty sure they stopped honoring the special because they ran out of fish. This location was the old Ihop/ Pancake house. It had ample seating. It is clean. It is ran nice and efficient. The day that i went, the owner was there bagging up orders. People were pretty friendly. The tacos were consistent with their other locations. I always go to the location in Hermosa beach and they have the best staff, always going above and beyond for their customers. I talked to the staff after noticing that my plate had way less ceviche than the rest at me table and their response was "do you want me to take your plate and measure the portion in front of you?" What type of customer service is that? He said "if we gave more to the rest of the table we can't go take that back" Honestly I've never had a problem with portions at the Hermosa location, it was a mistake coming to try this spot in Gardena.
