    Fish Ceviche Tostada
    Lauretta N.

You place your order at the front cashier who is very helpful. Ordered the shrimp and fish tacos which were excellent. Hubby ordered the ceviche tostada which was full of fish. Prices are reasonable and quality is great. Will come back to this place.

Right down the street from my work which makes this a great option for me during the week! The Ensenada burrito with asada and shrimp is HUGE AND DELICIOUS. I was seriously impressed by the size of this burrito, only matched by the deliciousness! The ceviche was aggressively average, not great not bad. We tried all three of the shrimp ceviche and thought each were okay. The fish tacos were amazing as well! I can't wait to come back here and try what else they have to offer. The staff was friendly and eager to help. Pro tip- bring cash if you like dried chiltepines! They sell them by the cup and they're soooooo good.

I've been a customer of Ensenada's since around 2022, and this review is based solely on their new Crenshaw location. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the young lady behind the register. She was all smiles and radiated genuine enthusiasm, which immediately set the tone for a great experience. Everything on the menu looks tempting, but I stayed true to my favorite and ordered the Baja fish tacos. These battered tacos are huge, yet I still managed to conquer three of them. They were absolutely delicious!!! Perfect crunch on the batter, moist and flavorful fish, fresh tortillas, and a great slaw. It all comes together as the perfect combo. I also love that they offer all-you-can-eat seasoned yellow chilies and pickled onions, which are the perfect finishing touch for these tacos. Overall, this was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Great food, great service...this place truly rocks, and I will definitely be back. If you've never tried Ensenada's, this is a spot worth visiting...more than once, of course :)

    Them shrimps are great size!

Service was quick, the cashier was super nice and was knowledgeable about allergies. The vibes were great. The food was amazing, I got a grilled shrimp burrito which was 19.99 plus tax as of April 11th 2026 but you can easily split it in two and they dont skimp on shrimp like they do at panda express.

Battered fish and shrimp tacos. Delicious!

I love going to the Artesia location we always go for the battered fish/shrimp tacos. Super delicious. This location offers more parking space and there is more space and tables to eat inside as well. The hostess/cashier was super friendly and bubbly. Place was busy but not packed. The in and out flow was consistent. We ordered our usual and this time I decided to try the shrimp ceviche, first and last time. It was either super salty or super sour from the lime, very hard to tell but I couldn't keep a straight face with each bite I took, yes I still ate it and yes I finished it, it's not cheap! I covered it in hot sauce and finished it. I will just stick to the battered fish/shrimp tacos.

Gonna sum things up in just a few words, Great Food at a reasonable price at a record time. Staff is very friendly. I prefer to frequent the new location on Crenshaw north of Manhattan Bch Bl. My wife and I order the battered fish tacos.

I've been to their Lawndale location many times and also this location. Th is location has more settings and parking. The service here is very good. Everything is so tasty. It can get buys on fish taco Wednesdays. The place is quaint and casual but has a good lively vibe.

If you're craving some seriously fresh and flavorful eats, this place is a total catch! The ceviche? It's like a burst of ocean goodness in every bite. Bonus: you can see the ceviche pot right there, making it easy to pick the one that speaks to your soul. I went for the Ensenada fish tacos, and let me tell you, they were so filling! The combo comes with 2 tacos, beans, rice, and a fountain drink--and those tacos are all you really need to get that full, happy vibe. I could barely finish the rice and beans after those tacos. It's the perfect place to fuel up. 100% recommend this gem if you're a fan of fresh, tasty, and totally satisfying seafood!

Battered fish tacos might not look good but I promise you it's amazing!!!

Great customer service and great food. Fish tacos were bomb!!!! Wasn't crowded and the food didn't take long. They played a movie so me and my man had a nice movie date.

They had fantastic fish tacos. Fantastic ceviche. Fantastic horchata & Jamaica. Fantastic service. Shelly, the cashier was super friendly and very accommodating. The food also was served super duper fast. Great comfortable and clean atmosphere. Bright with lots of windows and tons of seating area. 10 out of 10 would recommend! LOVE this place!

This is my favorite fish tacos in LA. This is the grand opening of their Gardena location. The fish tacos are only $1.50 during their grand opening. I do not know when it ends, but you should come here now. There is ample parking here. There is plenty of seating in this locationvailable to sit and eat your tacos while they are still hot. The fish was lightly battered but yet crispy, the fish was hot and tender . The chili is mild. Thetacoas comes with diced tomatoes and onionsand shredded cabbage. It took about 5 minutes to get our order after we had placed it. The cashier was very pleasant and had greeted us with a smile.

The restaurant is small, but we were able to get a table in the back corner. It was a little snug, but honestly, our hunger was more pressing. First up--the chips and salsa were THE BOMB! That salsa was so fresh, flavorful, and had just the right kick. I could have--and pretty much did--drink it. They also brought us a bowl of beans topped with crema, and my kids were practically fighting over them. My husband and kids ordered burritos: two steak, one chile verde, and one chorizo. They were a good size and were instantly devoured, which is always a good sign! I ordered their $11 special: an enchilada, chicken taco, beans, and rice. It was flavorful, filling, and straight-up OG Mexican food. I really enjoyed my entire plate, especially for the price. My only complaint was the noise level. We had a speaker directly over our table, so the music was pretty loud, and the table next to us was a little loud as well. It made conversation a bit difficult at times. But all in all, we will definitely be back! I'm so happy we discovered another Mexican restaurant to add to our rotation. Now, La Villa... I just need that salsa recipe! I need a few cups so I can drink it! I loved learning that they've been around since 1969.

Ended up ordering burritos, tamales, enchiladas, hard and soft shell tacos, etc. - Tamales were the best. Meaty carnitas - burrito was next best. Meaty, not too much filling. I'm from NM so love the wet style. It bugged me that you have to pay extra for Christmas style. Who really likes getting charged for a lick of sauce? How much does that sauce really cost the business? Look, I walked away and I still remember you wanted to charge me some nominal fee for the sauce. I told my friends. Now I'm telling my friends on Yelp. The owner should read up on pricing psychology. He probably doesn't want to be known as the guy who charges for sauce, is my guess. - Chicken taco was a nice size and tasted ok - enchiladas were mid Salsa is only free for the first 2 servings. Even for a table of 4, that bugged me. Again, he's known now as the guy who nickels and dimes. Sigh. Ambiance is dark inside like a pub. It would look more modern and family friendly with more natural light. As most would expect out of a restaurant. We came here during a World Cup game. The game was on. That was a plus We were thinking of coming back to order the family pack. Then no one at home would charge me extra for the salsa. ha!! I read just now in another review that this place charges for hot water. Ok then, the owners is STRIVING to be the nickel and dime people. Yelpers are talking and people are listening. Do yourselves a favor and reverse these dumb pricing practices. You'll never know the business you are losing for the $2 here and $3 there. It's never worth it!

We normally get the carne asada/pollo fries and they're awesome. The wet burrito was the star of my visit, big, saucy, and exactly the kind of comfort bomb you want from a spot like this. The red sauce had that perfect balance of savory and tangy, and the burrito itself was stuffed generously. Every bite was so good, so delicious! And the tacos.....Fire. The homemade tortillas make all the difference, soft, warm, and with that fresh‑masa aroma that tells you they didn't come from a plastic bag. No... no... no! They hold up beautifully to the fillings without falling apart, and they add this subtle sweetness that elevates everything. Chips and salsa were simple but solid. The chips had a good crunch, and the salsa tasted fresh, bright, and not overly blended, the kind you keep dipping into even when you tell yourself you're "saving room for the burrito."
