Just okay tacos...the asada was dry and it really needed the salsas to add flavor. As another reviewer mentioned, they don't post their prices because you get a different (read: better) price depending on your race. My husband overheard the lady asking her coworker in Spanish how much she should charge him. There are plenty of taco places all over the South Bay and this one isn't worth a return. read more

The establishment is clean and the service is quick. One thing I noticed is that they changed the size of the tortilla for the taco combos. They used to have a regular size tortilla and they changed them for a smaller size tortilla. The following week I ordered a burrito and my bf ordered the asada nachos. Both were good portions for the price. I don't know about their taco plates anymore... I would suggest this place but just know the size of the taco has changed! read more

I was in the middle of a mid-day weekend errand when hunger pangs kicked it's presence through. It was one of those days I couldn't pick a foodie mood, so I called Hubbers for suggestions. He said since I was on a street taco phase and we couldn't wait for dinner for those street vendors to come out, "Why not try a brick and mortar?" He sent me the link to this place and here I was. And so convenient, I must say, I was only a couple of blocks away. Hubbers had his usual Al pastor tacos. I always go for different ones (carne asada, tripa, chorizo and carnitas on this run.) While waiting, I started gathering their different types of sauces. I noticed they had an habanero type so I grabbed one for Hubbers. Either I'm a slow poke or they work fast because I turns around and my food is good to go! Packaging was great. Food still warm - then again, home isn't that far. Carne asada was tasty. Carnitas had a great crunch. Tripa had a nice chew and very little game aroma. And the chorizo delivered. I just love this kind of variety! Hubbers loved his order as well! FOOD: 4. SERVICE: 3. VALUE: 5. At $2/pop for a brick and mortar?! Score! PARKING: Street and shared private lot. The lot is tight and can get busy (trust, I know this place well, I get my nails done a couple of doors down!) If it's possible, avoid using big cars or trucks through it. OVERALL: 4. My timing was perfect: as I walked out with my goodies, the line was practically out the door. I only had the tacos so that what I'm scoring. 2 chicken, 2 Al pastor, 2 chorizo. The worst tacos I've every had. The meats had no flavor what so ever. I could not even tell the difference. Maybe the other dishes are better but I'm not going to find because I will not be going back. read more

The service is very fast. And I have never waited too long to get my tacos. They have park bench table and seating here. It is casual dining here. The chicken tacos have full of flavor. Chicken is bland unless you can season it well. I can't eat red meat due to my diet, so I have searched far and wide to find Tacos to fulfill my cravings. I've been told this place is really good so we finally decided to try it today and we were pretty disappointed. We got their four street tacos and drink combo - Two pastor and two pollo along with a horchata. I thought the horchata was too watery and was lacking in that cinnamon, vanilla flavor. It wasn't too sweet, which my husband liked, and I did too, but it wasn't the same. It didn't taste like Christmas. The pastor and pollo tacos were pretty dry and also lacked flavor. They also weren't warm. The tortilla was a bit hard, so I don't believe they were made today, or handmade period. There is a salsa bar with red, green, lime green, onion/cilantro, cucumbers and a bunch of limes and it is self serving. All of their salsa's are hot - I thought the lime green one was the hottest and the red the least hot. I tried every salsa on the tacos and they added some flavor, but not so much that I'd go back and get them again. I also got their asada burrito which was served warm. With rice, asada, onions, and what appeared to be salsa, this burrito was too salty. I squeezed a lot of lime on it to try to dull the salt flavor and it worked. For the entire meal it came out to about $18, which I thought was too expensive. I'd rather spend that getting something else at a different taco joint. The service was okay, just standard. The parking sucks so I'd park across in AutoZone and walk across the street unless you're cool with parking in a very small parking lot (made me too nervous). read more

Was craving tacos after I got a massage in the area. Decided to try this spot out, given their high reviews on Yelp. Was not disappointed! Ordered the three taco combo that comes with rice, beans, and a drink for $10! Horchata was yummy as were the tacos. Self serve salsa bar was great too. SUPER fast service. I was at my parent's house so i found this restaurant on Yelp within 5 minutes from their house. I ordered two burritos (al pastor and carnitas). Both were very flavorful. My only gripe was there was no pricing other than specials. I asked for the price and it was $12 for a burrito and $14 for a wet burrito. There was also a 3% surcharge for credit cards.I think there is only one reason for not posting prices and that is to charge different prices to different customers. The may not be the case but why not post prices? This has been going on for some time based on the uploaded photos. read more

This place is a 10/10. I've been going here for years and they never disappoint. Prices are reasonable for the food you're getting. I usually get 4 tacos and a drink which I think is around 9 dollars. The service is very direct and quick. They are consistently cleaning the floors and wiping the tables. The tacos are made quick and fresh to order. I've only had tacos and burritos I keep telling myself I will try the ceviche or shrimp burrito but I am always craving tacos. I love the buche, pastor and suadero. The toppings bar is always stocked and clean when I have gone. The salsas could be a tad more spicier if you ask me but it does the job and the habanero salsa is good. Service has always been friendly and like I said before quick! I either drink an agua de piña or a bottled soda. Refreshing! I wouldn't recommend the horchata since it's different from others I have had. I find this is the best taco restaurant in the Gardena area that has many options for meats. read more

Tortillas were cooked well, some of the meats were a little dry. Good variety with the self-serve salsa sauce bar. Horchata also was on point. Bring cash. read more

The gal that took our order today is friendly and nice. She was also very efficient. While we were paying with our credit card, she took the next customer's order to keep things flowing. But she did it in a matter that wasn't rude to us and we didn't feel rushed. The guys behind the counter are also super speedy and hard working. +Food wise we've had there cabeza and lengua tacos and shrimp burrito. They were all so bomb! Tacos meats are well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Their salsas are really good and they have salsa bars so you can help yourself to plenty of salsa and picked items. -limited parking available. The parking space is very tight and narrow. Not my favorite parking spot to utilize. Doesn't affect my view of the business at all but thought I'd share -they're busy now, which I'm absolutely happy for them! This fast food restaurant is on W. Redondo Beach Boulevard between Normandie Avenue and Vermont Avenue. There are parking areas in front and the back of the store, and you should be able to find your parking any time during the day; however, please be aware that the access way to the parking space in front of the restaurant is ONE WAY ONLY! Tacos are small, but they are very inexpensive and tasty! You may want to start with ASADA (beefsteak) or PASTOR (pork) when you visit here for the first time. There is also a cart in the store where you can pick out the salsa, cilantro with onion, lime, grilled onions, and etc.!!! Service is friendly, and the place is clean. Their food is authentic and very reasonably priced! A must-try if you prefer your tacos just like the ones sold by the street vendors!
