Bought a 2024 Audi A5 in June, 2026: Here's my experience: POSITIVE Saw the car I wanted on their site and because the make, model and color would be snapped up ASAP, they grabbed it right away and it was transferred from another city/state within a week later. At my request, they held it for me for 5 days until I could get there from my home 90 miles away. The salesman was nice, personable, accommodating and answered all my questions. He should get a better job elsewhere. The car was in pristine condition - inside and out. They attached one license plate for me and gassed the car before I drove it off the lot. As I'd been renting a car from Enterprise, I was able to drop it off there (different location from the rental origin) without an extra charge. NEGATIVE They will push the warranty, even if it includes flirting shamelessly! It could be that I was in a hurry, but they should have attached the second plate. Now I've gotta pay someone to do it - I'm not handy. I was paying cash for the car which at first, I going to do via wire transfer. However, telling me it would take a day for their "corporate office to receive the wire transfer", they wanted me to do the wire the day BEFORE I was scheduled to pick it up. While I was 95% sure I wanted the car, I'd only seen it online and I wasn't about to pay for it until I'd seen it in person and test drove it! It's 2026, folks and wire transfers are immediate! Don't test our BS meter. I paid by cashiers' check instead. Also, because I wanted to get miles on my credit card, I asked to put $10k of the $34k+ cost on it, but $5k is the most they'll let you put on a card (obviously, they want every opportunity to finance the cars they sell. One day soon, someone's going to challenge this in court and win). They wouldn't even let me put the warranty (which is a separate purchase) on my card. (the two points above are likely not under the salesman's control) Finally, and the most disappointing part of the experience: Once I bought the car, I immediately drove it to a mechanic I'd made an appointment with to have it checked out. They spent several hours inspecting it and told me that Internally, it was all good. BUT, while it was up on the lift, they saw it had been in an accident: the passenger door on the driver's side had been replaced and cheaply done with 'Bondo'. Sure enough, the paint doesn't exactly match. No accident was reported on the Carfax report. I called Enterprise Car Sales to discuss this with them and the dealership manager said: If it's not on the Carfax report, we don't have to tell you about it and we're not responsible for it. FYI: Don't trust a Carfax report. read more

I highly don't recommend this location 4000 Ogden. I worked with someone great but this location provided the worse service ever. I put a down payment on a vehicle to hold it a week before I picked it up. When I picked it up and got it home the car already had issues so I had to take it back. A random lady from the place called me to tell me the car was ready to be picked it but she couldn't even explain to me what was wrong with the car told me that's not her department. They gave me a loner car on full tank and i gave them my car on half i returned they car back full tank and they returned my car back on E don't know how that was fair and the lady again told me that's not her department i hate the experience i went through with this enterprise. read more

I brought my daughter in to purchase a car due to her totaling hers. The transaction was flawless and smooth. Calling was not easy, get sent to a call center somewhere and can not get through to Glenn Ellyn location easy. Call center has a disconnected from other locations and gave bad info over phone. Don't get a car at this place, we bought a car in July a ford 2018 one and the check engine light is on, we called them right away and they took the car in but three weeks later the check engine light is on again and now we are just being pass around...it is so frustrating how they just pass us around and that they sold us a broken car and now we might have to pay out of pocket to get it fix because we didn't but extra warranty from them. This is without question the best car buying experience I could have had. Along with the no-pressure attitude of the staff, when it came time to check out the car (I found it on their website), I didn't have transportation to get to the place...so my rep Joe brought the car to me! Talk about going above and beyond the call!! The finance officer, Greg, was just as low-key; the paperwork was done inside of 20 minutes with no hassle or problems at all. I love this place! I had no idea Enterprise actually sold cars, but they do! My mom bought a Ford Windstar minivan from here in 2003 and it was super awesome. Our former Windstar was totaled in an accident but my mom loved that car... she wanted the same one. She got it at Enterprise! They hooked her up with almost the same exact van except a little newer and a few more amenities. The car was inexpensive (about as much as she paid for the previous one) and her insurance check from State Farm paid for almost all of it. Awesome. The service was exceptional which is we we decided to get my first car from them. Last October I decided that I needed a car because the commute from home to UIC was getting rough. We went out to Enterprise to get me a cute little car. YES. I ended up buying a 2005 Kia Rio for about $9100 total (including taxes, title and licensing). Awesome. I loved the service. The employees were all attentive but not overbearing. Often, while buying a car, the sales associates will be annoying and pressure you into something you don't need or want. They do NOT do that at this location. They knew what I wanted and they accommodated ME and my budget, not their own agenda. The best part about buying former used cars is that they are taken care of well while they are used cars. They usually only have about 30K miles on them when they are purchased because renters usually only drive them short distances. Every time a renter brings the car back to the rental facility, the car is serviced. The oil is changed more often in rentals than in regular cars and service is done immediately if anything is wrong. They take such good care of the cars that you are practically buying something new. The Enterprise facility also services the car before you buy it so everything is 100% fixed. I ended up getting the rest of the Kia factory warranty when I purchased (any repairs up to 60k miles) and a ONE year Enterprise warranty that offered complete AAA roadside service (see my review of AAA Chicago - this is what I used when I called them). We have bought from Enterprise before, so we expected the same result as before, and was not disappointed. Both Brandon and Stephan helped us secure the car we wanted in a very friendly and knowledgeable atmosphere. Knowing what the price is at the beginning is always a bonus. Only problem was we did not get a second key( which is strange). Both salespeople said they would contact corporate and find out if they had extra. They did not, so we had to make a separate trip back to have a key made on a certain day only. Is not there some code they could make the key , and send it?if that is the only key, what would happen if they lost it? Otherwise no problems, including finance( Chris?). I have talked to 6 different people about my need for a larger vehicle, receive a promise to get called back, and then no call.
