I was told it should be about an hours work but just in case it takes longer I was given a courtesy vehicle. Two and a half days later, and after 4 unanswered phone calls, I found out my vehicle still wasn't brought back to be worked on. I told them I was coming to pick it up and I was not going to be refueling it as compensation for the wasted time. No protests by the service advisor or his manager at the time. Five business days later they charged my account for the fuel. When I called and explained to them what was discussed they responded with "you signed a contract". They're the most ignorant, money hungry and shady dealership. Even Chrysler isn't off limits to their level of shadiness, evident by them seeking reimbursement for 4 days for the 2.5 days I had the courtesy vehicle. Id absolutely avoid this place.

At the time of purchase, the Certified Pre-Owned vehicle was missing an accessory part that I was told would be sent to me afterward. That never happened. I also raised a concern at the time of sale about a headlight that was experiencing significant fogging/condensation and was told that the issue would be covered under warranty. When I later attempted to have it addressed, that turned out not to be the case as it had been represented to me. What was most frustrating was the lack of communication and follow-through. I contacted the dealership and left messages on three separate occasions without receiving a response. On my fourth attempt, I finally reached someone who said they would look into both issues. Several weeks later, I still had not received any follow-up or resolution. Based on my experience, D'Arcy Hyundai may be worth considering if you are getting a good deal and driving off the lot with a vehicle that needs absolutely nothing further. However, I would only recommend purchasing here if you have another Hyundai dealership nearby that you are comfortable relying on for future service and warranty matters, and if you are not expecting D'Arcy to follow through on outstanding items once the sale is complete. The purchase itself went smoothly. Unfortunately, the support after the sale did not come close to matching it.

He was patient, helpful, and took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly. His customer service was excellent and is the reason I stayed as long as I did. Unfortunately, my experience changed completely when it came time to discuss numbers and I was introduced to the service manager, Jose. When I asked questions, he was dismissive and, at one point, literally waved me off with the pen in his hand. As a returning customer who has spent money with this dealership and remained loyal for years, I found this behavior disrespectful and unprofessional. The moment I was made to feel like my questions and concerns didn't matter, all respect was lost and I decided I was done. No customer--especially a loyal, repeat customer--should be treated as though they're an inconvenience for asking questions about a major financial decision. When shopping on line you'd think the whole world was running out to by something Eco-friendly. I was shocked to find dealers actually discouraging me from purchasing a hybrid. Really, I hadn't found one dealer who didn't point out all the negatives to me. At a Ford dealer out in Bolingbrook, the women wouldn't even let test drive an Escape even after I was insistant. She finally talked numbers but no test drive. No kidding. I walked in to Saturn of Joliet and the first words out the women's mouth was "Have you considered a hybrid?" Finally!!!! I was so happy to find a kick ass Saturn VUE Hybrid SUV with all the bells and whistles. It's sweeeet. Great pick up and it gets 27 to 32 miles per gallon in the city. What were those other dealers dissin the hybrids for ?????? I guess I'll never know. My sales women was awesome she literally found me every feature I wanted for the price I wanted it at. I got 1 year from Xm satellite and 1 year of On-star too. Don't even get me started on the safety features. All of this was about $10,000 less then the dealership that told me "you don't want a hybrid their not HOT". I disagree. And It feels great to feel like I'm doing what I can to minimize damage to the planet. I love my new VUE Hybrid so much that I'm even considering posting her "new born" photo for you all to admire.
