Pros: Professionally dressed sales people, spacious facility, courteous staff, free Starbucks coffee & water, mechanics on site with late hours to accommodate most customers schedules, they seem to really listen & make helpful suggestions, if needed! Decent location with ample parking! I love that this location is employee owned! Very impressive! Cons: Some of the night staff seemed a little more relaxed, less attentive. If you have not made a decision to purchase & need to come back, you may have to work with a different person & explain everything all over again. Their willingness to discount prices or services is not really that good. They are sure to point out all the money they put into the used cars they are selling, but this is also why w are less likely to discount their vehicles! Lastly, only certain used Hondas will receive a warranty & the levels of warranties are a bit confusing! Overall, I'd recommend going here for a decent car shopping experience! This Honda dealership has excellent service department. I've been there a few times before I live 50 miles away and passed multiple Honda dealerships just because I like this one I have never been treated to an up sale. I've always thought they've been there and honest Anthony was a great service tech rep. I was provided a loaner for a week. I had my torque converter fixed on my 2018 Honda Ridgeline, and while the car was there, the axle has broken they fix that at no charge. I thought that was being very honest. It could've went another way. The only thing I would like to see this dealership do is put in some USB ports in their waiting room. read more

I have been coming to this location for oil change and maintenance for my Honda Oddyssey x 19 years now (2006 model and 2020 model). I always have a ski rack.... Oil change usually comes with carwash. Yesterday, I noticed that my car was not washed so I asked one of the workers and he told me it's because of the roof rack. So I took off the ski rack and asked the workers to wash the car. He said yes. I came back to the parking lot 20 minutes later and just drove off with my car. I'm not sure if they washed it, probably just ran water thru. The reason I got the oil change in Naperville was for the complementary carwash. Next time, I'll just go to Batavia Mobil near my house. For the past 19 years, this is the 3rd time they did not wash the minivan. The first time, I just ignored. The 2nd time, I requested for the carwash and they delivered. Longtime customer at McGrath St. Charles, and when they moved, they imported every sleazy person they could hire. Bought a new Passport from them; always had our Accord Touring serviced there. And really, if you read the negative reviews, I couldn't find one that wasn't true. So my wife and I started going here, and it's amazing. They treat you like a human being who is paying for services. I don't have to worry about my wife sitting in the waiting room for five hours for an oil change, only to be told the new car, under warranty, needs a $5,000 flame-thrower or some deceptive garbage. Even though the sign says "Express Service" it just doesn't exist. Last 4 times there for an oil change, the wait was between 1.5 and 3 hours. I know, I know they bag on outside oil change companies, and I don't expect a match to the "10 minutes while you wait in the car" but could you try and hire a few more oil change employees to at least make an effort to be more "time competitive?" read more

5 stars are not enough stars to give to Megha Thallam, our Consultant and for Chris Barrera, Business Manager. We called to verify the inventory and Megha was right on the ball. She knew her inventory, knew about the leasing process and was available for us to come into the showroom today. We made an appointment with Megha and found her most pleasant, considerate and helpful in every way. Megha showed us the inventory on the computer and then on the showroom floor. She answered all of our questions without having to run back and forth to get answers. When it was time to take a test drive, Megha arranged for the vehicle to be brought up to the showroom doors so we didn't have to venture out in the cold for a long time. Her knowledge of the product, incentives, and sales was amazing. She never hesitate to answer any question. Megha has the personality for this job and it shows she really care about her job and making the customer gain her trust. We moved on to Chis Barrera to finalize our purchase and it was an additional pleasure to do business with Valley Honda. He had everything ready to be signed with the exception of the last minute decisions. He was easy to talk to, and easy to understand. He explained everything we needed to sign in detail and gave us time to asks any questions we might have. My husband is a "car person" so it was easy to make conversation and still keep the contract moving. Both Megha and Christ walked us out to the "delivery building" and helped us with all of out belongings without hesitation. Even though the dealership was so busy, both Megha and Chris never rushed us, or pressured us at any time. My husband and I have been looking for a used Honda Accord Touring 2.0L under $35K with 60k miles or less. We saw earlier this week on cars.com that Valley Honda had two!! We are just over 220 miles away from Valley Honda, but we knew this was the vehicle we wanted. We connected with the Valley Honda team through their website and a sales rep reached out to us. Diego Leon sent us videos of both of the Accords to help us choose. We didn't want to risk anyone coming in and buying the car before we could get there on Saturday, so we arranged payment and paperwork to be done before we arrived. Diego and his business manager, Roxann, took great care of us! They made it SO easy to get everything done electronically. When we arrived today, the car was detailed and ready for us to test drive it before we officially drove off the lot. We got a tour of the entire facility. The last bit of paperwork was painless. I'll preface that this is a review for the Service Department rather than the Sales Department, but I was unable to find a listing specifically for Service. The service team, and Chad in particular at Valley Honda are amazing, and I'd consider them by far the best I've worked with as far as having work done on my vehicles. I needed to have some work done on the electronics within the vehicle, and this needed to be authorized by/co-ordinated with a 3rd party extended warranty I had purchased. Chad made this process incredibly smooth and easy for me, and handled the repair process for something that was not a straight forward issue from start to finish. Chad was diligent throughout the process, including proactively contacting me to keep me informed whilst parts were backordered and being waited on (to me this was the part that I found most impressive; as usually things like this are left for me to follow up and get an update). Since moving to Chicago from San Francisco, I had actually stopped getting my vehicle serviced at a Honda Dealership as my pre-purchased maintenance plan did not cover work there, but this positive experience with their service department has made me reconsider that decision and I'll probably be bringing it back for its next service. read more

I am very impressed with this dealer! I have been through many in my life. I wish I could say I was actually looking for a car, however what happened was I had issues with my current car. Not mechanical, just off on the size, the feel. Long and short of it all Valley Honda did no high sale pressure. I took my time and I worked with a series of people there. Ken was my salesman, also two great managers. The finance guy was great. The day after I brought my new car home, I had issues. Stupid batteries, a fuse....i was treated like Gold. Best service experience by far! The lounge is comfortable with several chairs and work stations. They even have Mac computers available if you didn't bring your laptop. There's a great Starbucks and Teavanna set up. The seating area and bathrooms were all very clean. Emilio assisted me with my car service, and he was very knowledgeable and friendly. He quoted 2.5-3 hours of service time, and said he'd give an update in an hour. As promised, he stopped by and informed me of the status. He came again when the service was completed and had it finished in 2 hours. Amazing. The other staff I encountered all seemed professional and happy to help. purchased my very first car from here 3 years ago. the process was easy, the staff was very nice and i love that they sell their cars at msrp without unnecessary add ons and mark ups. however, i did have to be put on a waitlist for the exact car that i wanted to be built because covid had slowed down production, not sure if this is still the case for others. the service department is fantastic, very helpful and knowledgeable staff. the service work is also cheaper than in/near chicago. i paid $240 for a transmission fluid replacement and an oil change at this location when a city dealer tried to charge me $340 for the same services. i would highly recommend this place. read more
