I replied with Great, thank you. Received a call from, Chris the next day. I wasn't ready to buy a car yet however we talked about options and I viewed the website. Told him would call when I was ready. The insurance company finally paid off my car (financed). I didn't really want my credit ran and couldn't afford to pay for the. Rental returned it and went next door to see what was available. Great cars in the lot all clean and ready to drive. No negotiating all prices are listed and firm ( not a problem for me). Ok so this is what happened I told him look I don't want you looking for financing for no reason the other loan won't reflect paid. Showed him the payment being sent to insurance gave him my info and we found financing in less than five actually several banks approved me. The best part is the car that I ended up getting wasn't even the car I thought of buying - I drive a couple of cars and based on our conversation Chris pulled the car of my dreams in the front I drove it, loved it Went inside and made the purchase. And I put down 500$ to hold the car i saw 18,000 miles on the car but later the sales guy told me it has 38,000 thousand miles on a 2020 car. Then turned around and tells me it's not refundable without having me signing anything. Just like that I lost 500$. So... we literally could not have asked for a better car buying experience! Our car was totaled, and our insurance provided a rental through enterprise (which was a fabulous car by the way!), we shopped around for cars at a few different used car lots... we weren't too pleased with the "stereotypical" experience of used car lots, which was when the rental agency asked if we would be interested in buying a car through enterprise! My fiancé communicated with Renee at the Lakewood Enterprise Car Sales location via phone for about 3 weeks (since we live almost 2 hours away, it was difficult to find the time to get down there) and she was nothing but patient and kind! We immediately felt welcomed when walking into the building, and there wasn't 14 salesmen bombarding us or hovering or anything like that. We were able to sit down with Renee and get the paperwork side of everything straightened out. This lady is a SAINT! I swear to you she is an angel from heaven gifted to us on earth. We both immediately felt at home, comfortable, and we didn't feel rushed or pressured whatsoever! No one really wants to shop for a car, right? Being pressured into a long term decision, feeling rushed by all the different sales people, the whole shebang. On my first call I spoke with Matt - and he answered all my questions. I had been concerned that, due to my credit history, I might not get a loan. He asked me a few things, then told me he was rather confident they could help me out. Going in, I met with Bryant W. and Mark who were a dynamic duo. The 2-man teamwork might seem a little overwhelming if you go in with a negative mindset about salespeople... but just relax, and you might come to find out (the way I did) it's far more enjoyable to have two people on your side than it is to have one. In my past, there have been times I would call someone about (furniture) sales and because their store and salespeople were working individually no one would know what was going on with my purchase, especially if the original salesperson was busy with another customer. When I had to call in to ask questions during the process at Enterprise, either Mark or Bryant were always free - and they always knew what was going on. I never had to repeat myself. With their teamwork at Enterprise Car Sales I was able to find the features I wanted in a car... and today I drove it home! Jim works miracles in financing (and he is such a funny character!). Give him time and he will make sure you get the best deal for your dime. Enterprise really does offer some of the best prices and perks around (3 year roadside assistance with my purchase? Yes please!). Their extended warranty is worthwhile and they never once pressured me to buy more than I was comfortable purchasing. within 2 weeks of purchasing the vehicle, still under warranty the car stopped working due to malfunction with the battery or electrical system and after we insisted it be taken to the vw dealership to be tested properly they insisted it go to firestone due to being cheaper. sitting here without a car after having my wife be picked up in and drive a vehicle that should have been checked, with our kids after they jumped our car. dealership should have been the 1st place to go.
