Buyer beware: if you're considering the 2019 Volkswagen Atlas currently listed at this dealership, I strongly recommend paying for an independent pre-purchase inspection. In my case, the inspection identified $637.67 in recommended repairs. When I shared the report and asked whether the dealership would address the issues or adjust the price, they said they were unable to find anything that needed repair. To be fair, my salesperson was excellent--helpful, understanding, and professional throughout the process. The dealership allowed me to have the vehicle independently inspected, did not pressure me to move forward with the purchase, and was respectful when I decided to walk away. At the same time, they were not willing to make any adjustments to the deal in light of the inspection findings. Overall, this seems like a solid dealership, but all used vehicles are sold as-is. Do your homework, get an independent inspection, and be prepared to cover any repairs yourself after the purchase. In my case, the inspection was well worth the cost and helped me make a more informed decision. read more

I bought a used vehicle about one month ago- on all the paperwork including Carfax, which turned out to be inaccurate ~They said they had done an oil change and put on new brakes and that the car was in good drivable condition. The car had. 50,000. miles on it -just to be on the safe side I took it to an Auto Mechanic specialist who checked the oil ....it was black. He told me it had likely not been changed for several years at least, and that the filter was old and the wrong filter for this brand of car. Additionally, he checked the brakes and only the back brakes had been done. The front brakes were old and had only 30% left so essentially they flat out lied to me. It was very upsetting and I would never ever recommend buying anything from this dealer. I personally experienced that they were dishonest. read more

I've experienced that they'll do anything to sell a car even lie on your application so that you get approved. Make promises they don't keep. I return the car because the bank didn't finalize the application due to the salesman lying. And when I talk to them about getting my deposit back they reassured me that it would be put in my account not only by the service manager but by a salesman also. I decided to record the whole conversation so there wouldn't be an issue later on with returning my $3,000 since the bank pulled back on their financing and they have been stalling putting the money back in my account. They are fraud they're only out to benefit themselves and will lie just to make a sale and when it doesn't go through keep your money. I do not like dealerships. I went in, and the car i was looking at had a dent on the rear bumper. Pictures did not show that. They lowered the price on the car. They found me a better rate than what my bank offered. And they personally delivered my car same day to go home with me as i was by myself. They sent a lot attendant and paid for his uber ride back home. They went the distance. Although you do need to speak up and tell them exactly what you want. I bought a used car here. The sales experience was slow but ok. After a few weeks, I discovered that one of the tires is slowly losing air. I got it checked out and there is foam inside the tire indicating that it's already been repaired. I'm unable to get an appointment for 2 weeks to get it looked at there so I have to put air in this tire every few days. I emailed the general manager twice and he never responded to my inquiries. Finally, they told me that they would mail me my plates but never have, so I have to go way out of my way in traffic to even talk to someone about it since they just transfer around my call and everyone's voicemails are full. After three confirmed messages with the company beforehand, on our way up to the appointment, they cancelled on us and said the car was on hold and in the process of being bought. Without a reason, they apologized and said that they're going to "speak with management" about the situation so it doesn't happen. So was the reason that someone wanted to buy the car first thing this morning and they didn't want to communicate that? If they would have said something, it would have been better than beating around whatever bush they had going on there. I think it's very disrespectful to at least not be transparent with the truth of what happened. I get shit happens - be honest. My daughter purchased a vehicle from this dealership. We were greeted with nothing but enthusiasm and a lot of great energy. Jesse Valentine took care of her and she walked out with a great deal and what seemed to be a great SUV. Down the line the vehicle developed an oil leak and after a month of the dealership's service center working with her by topping her oil reservoir, they told her to bring the vehicle in and work something out. After some back and forth Jesse with the assist from Mo Rabah they were able to upgrade her to a better vehicle at about the same price she had purchased the previous vehicle. So, all in all I recommend these guys, they took a loss to help my little girl out. They focused more on customer satisfaction and not the bottom dollar. In the end my daughter came out with an almost brand new vehicle and a great price. More than that, she came out with peace of mind knowing she and her son had a reliable vehicle they don't have to worry about for a long while. I would recommend this dealership to anyone, especially working with someone like Jesse and Mo. Jesse even threw in some tacos his mother had brought for his lunch because he saw my daughter and grandson had not eaten lunch. I mean that is just attention to detail and care for the customer and people. When I arrived, I had to wait even though one employee was at the register and another appeared to be in the building at another register. Eventually, I was called over, which was fine, but it wasn't clear why I had to wait if someone was available. My service was estimated to take an hour and a half, not ideal, but acceptable since I wanted my vehicle taken care of. The wait ended up being longer than I was told. They were kind enough to wash my vehicle, but it was not dried, and the inside was not cleaned. The representative did provide a Brown Bear coupon, which I appreciated. Ugh, buying a car - is there any process more frustrating? No matter how much I hope the experience will go smoothly and without issue, car dealers re-enforce their own bad stereotypes over and over. So, my here's our experience with Car Pros Kia of Tacoma. At the end of 2023, we needed a new car for our growing family, and my wife and I settled on a Kia Plug In Hybrid. We shopped around. We tried to time it right with the sales. We considered used, CPO and new cars. We found a dealership (Car Pros Kia Tacoma) offering us a reasonable sale price on a specific vehicle online, we messaged them and set up a time to test drive the car. As soon as we walked through the front door of the dealership, the issues began . The first issue: the vehicle we had messaged them about, which they said was on site, was mysteriously "lost" when we arrived (we opted for a new car, 2023 model, on end-of-year-sale). This isn't our first rodeo, and we were disappointed that the car was magically gone, but unsurprised at their BS. Going into the sale, we were at the outer edge of our budget, and due to that (and the now missing vehicle) the dealership asked if we were interested in a CPO vehicle of the same model and year, with only 1,000 miles on it. We said we were intrigued , but only if they could show us in writing that all the standard warranties (10 years, 100,000 miles) still applied to a CPO vehicle. They said they couldn't show that to us in writing, but to just, "trust them" that the vehicle was under warrantee. That didn't pass the sniff test, and they were now on strike two, so we walked out of the dealership and left to find some lunch. A few hours later they called us back with a new, lower offer on another new vehicle (same model, same year). We said, "sure, we'll check it out." And came back in. Surprisingly, nothing seemed amiss. We were happy with the price and bought the vehicle. We thought we were done, getting a new car relatively unscathed, but that's when the real problems started. Only after signing all the paperwork did they tell us one of the keys to the brand new car was missing - but "not to worry," they would find it soon. We were irate . To spend an astronomical amount of money on a car, only to learn you're not getting all the equipment, was frustrating. And we've lost keys before, it's a pain in the ass. That's why you have two. But at this point, we were at the end of the day, and all the paperwork was signed, so we signed a contract showing they owed us a key, and we drove off with the new vehicle and one key. A week goes by (it's early January) and we get a message that they've found the key and they'll send it. Great. Two weeks go by. No key shows up. It's now mid January) I message them, frustrated. They say they sent the key one day ago. Fine, whatever. Another three weeks go by (now February). Still no key. We are now six weeks since purchasing the car. They claim they sent the key. But I work from home and get the mail every day, as soon as it arrives. No key has arrived. In the meantime, I inquire with the dealership about our license plates, which are supposed to have been shipped, too. They claim they have the plates and will send ASAP. Soon after, I get an email from FedEx that a package from the dealership is headed our way. The next day, our plates arrive without issue, but still no key. I message the dealership again asking about the key, but this time they won't even respond. So now I'm spending my Saturday writing a bad-car-dealership- experience review. And I still have no key, and the dealership has gone silent. I'm reporting them to the BBB. Moral of the story, don't buy your vehicle here, go somewhere. They jerk you around, make your life more difficult than it needs to be and leave a bad taste in your mouth. read more

I brought my Kia in with a check engine issue. I was informed that the Catalytic Converter had failed and needed to be replaced, at a cost of $7k. I had to explain to the staff that the catalytic converter was, in fact, under warranty - per federal law (80k miles for all vehicles). They eventually agreed that that Kia was in fact liable for the work and agreed to complete the repair. I dropped it off on a Monday and was told to expect the work be complete on Wednesday. They had no loaners vehicles available and provided no options (despite this being work covered under warranty!). I called again on Wednesday and was told it would be ready on Thursday. I called on Thursday and was told Friday. I called on Friday and was told Monday. I called on Monday and was told two more days for the work to be completed. I've now had no vehicle and no loaner for a vehicle malfunction under warranty for more than 7 days. Car Pros Kia in Tacoma is a terrible option for vehicle service, and if you own a Kia you should take it absolutely anywhere else. Unless you're prepared to 1) have to explain to the technicians what they're vehicle warranty policy states and what's required by federal law 2) Wait an unacceptably long time for repairs 3) Be provided absolutely no options for a loaner or rental vehicle, regardless of Kia's obligation for warranty repairs. Don't take your car here. Don't buy a car here. read more
