I purchased a car from them in October and they sold me a bogus warranty and GAP insurance. In December I had to have $1700 worth of work to replace the thermostat and the warranty told my shop to 'F' off and hung up on them. Turns out they tell everyone who files a claim that you cannot prove the parts were bad and they won't cover the repair. I knew this was not an up and up dealership but I like the car I purchased. Now I have to try to get out of the extra for the bogus warranty...you cannot tell me they don't know that what they are selling is no good. stay away from this place!!! read more

About a month ago I bought a car from this dealer. Sean was a sales person. He works good and he gets 4stars(minus one for involving in these shady schemes), but the thing is that sales person makes a sales and paperwork is on financing department, which has dishonest attitude to customers. In addition to the fact that the car requires investments(transmission, oil pan leak, rear rotors etc), which I found out about when signing the papers, the owner of the company Antonio said that with an installment plan for three months, their company will be listed on the title, but if I make a payment before August 8, the title will come with my name without adding their company to it. While at the dealer, I said that I would come and pay everything before August 8, since I do not want anyone to be listed on the title. Today, on August 5, I talked to Antonio, who, as it turned out, is also a finance manager. He said that they will check if they have already requested the Title, to which I said that I have three more days to make the payment, which I intend to make before August 7, since I do not want to see anyone in the title except me, but he began to explain to me with everyone that they send the documents in the first week, and perhaps the title already has their name and I will have to re-register it at my own expense. As a result, we had a conflict because they lied at the beginning regarding the payment until August 8. Also, this person systematically interrupted and I had to raise my intonation so that he would stop interrupting and start listening, which is extremely unprofessional on his part. The result of what came out: additional expenses for the car, lies during the transaction, incompetent behavior in the dialogue and incompetent attitude to the sale with added problems for the buyer. I do not think that I will recommend this dealer to anyone, rather I will voice it so that they avoid it. I will also add information to the reviews on how the situation was resolved so that people can soberly evaluate the work with this dealer. So we purchased two cars from this lot. One was an audi A8 which as we found out at home, had a large bubble in the sidewall. I let them know and they paid for one tire but I had to replace all four due to it being a all wheel drive auto and wear has to be even. Cost to me over $1,000. The other car was a pre-owned Maserati which had display issues when we took it out for a drive. We were assured it was because the battery had died. They would fix it. So a week later we purchased both cars yet the display was still not working. We were told that they had replaced a "reconditioned" battery with a new one and the display would clear up after the car was driven, or computer reset. BS. Display was bad and had to be replaced. They reimbursed me for the part but I am out $800 in labor for it but that is not the end of it. We kept hearing a clunking sound after a few days so I took it into my mechanic who found that the car had been in an accident, plastic filler and bolts had been used in the inside of the rt. front fender. The grill was only held on by two bolts and the front strut was broken, They found rubber in the springs to act as a damper agent but it fell out. You can see the text exchange between myself and the owner of Payless. I will be out almost $2000 in repairs on this car for the strut and front end. As per the text from the owner of Payless, I should have had a professional inspect the car, not take their word for anything. In his own words he is saying they cannot be trusted to tell you the truth. We will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well as the State Attorney. Had a pretty poor experience a few days ago. I was working with Greg, who was a nice enough guy, although not particularly enthusiastic about making the sale. We came to mutual agreement on a Nissan Altima. As a part of the deal Greg came down from 12,900 to $12,000 and Agreed to give me $1500 for as a trade in for my 2008 Honda Accord. As Greg was preparing the paperwork, the owner came in yelling and cursing at Greg that he wasn't allowed to come down at all on the price of the Altima and he wasn't didn't want the Honda. I went to Maxx Auto Plus where I traded in my Honda and paid cash for my new Vehicle. The folks at Payless were extremely unprofessional and I'd never recommend them on principle. read more

This was one of the worst car buying experiences of my entire life. I was looking for an affordable, safe vehicle for my son. He worked all summer and save 13K on his own. I reviewed the car fax and decided this car was a contender. I test drove the car roadside and freeway to ensure there were no obvious issues. Upon returning to the dealership the car stuttered and downshifted a bit. I wanted to continue the test drive to see if it was a one off and was strongly discouraged by the salesman. He stated the mileage on the car was low, which was a selling point and did not want to put additional likes on it with test driving. He said that the car came in and was completely serviced by the onsite mechanic and had a clean bill of health. He became a bit pushy and insistent that this was a very good deal and it would not last long. I am well aware that a used car is just that.. used! However, I purchased the vehicle and got half way home when the transmission gave way! I was absolutely devastated. So, after spending $15K at the lot, I had a nice $285 tow bill to my house. The next day I contact them to let them know the car was a POS and what could we do to resolve this. I was passed around, promised return phone calls from the owner, and ignored. I now have to come up with upwards of $6k to replace the transmission or leave it rotting in my driveway. My poor kids money wasted. The crazy thing is I was willing to pay more for a good vehicle, but was sold on this bucket of junk. Shame on me for not paying closer attention to detail! NEVER PURCHASE A CAR FROM THIS PLACE! What I wanted was a Volvo XC90 as I enjoy the ride in Volvo's and did not need any fast talking person to talk me into any other type of purchase. I was pre approved so I thought this would be an easy purchase Bull. They told me what they could do left the room a couple of times and came back to a lower price acceptable to me and the man I married. USAA unfortunately did not. They spoke with me to discuss other options. Financing with another company was out of the question, no more hits on my Credit. It was one price or return the keys. I feel confidant in my decision to purchase a car from them. If you buy Used life isn't always that full bowl of cherries it's not like they sit down and say how can we screw them - not the feeling I got. They depend on the carfax, but not all information on the car fax is relevant and they do not maintenance the car prior to sale. My elderly mother was interested in a car and I asked if we could do a pre- buyers inspection and the finance guy said I'll give you a 90 day warranty that will cover all repairs to get this deal completed today. I agreed, well car had issues which was not a surprise it's older, but what was a surprise was when I tried to get them resolved with warranty and it only covered the engine. I then spoke to the owner Eric and explained this to him.He agreed to replace the battery, that was the least expensive problem, asked that I call him back at noon the next day. I went into test drive a car. Arrived and was told they sold the car I wanted to look at. I saw another car so I asked to drive it. First it wouldn't start. Then it finally started and I went for a drive. I went to push on the gas to accelerate while driving down the street and nothing happened. The after 3 times mashing the gas it stares responding. I pulled up to a light and hit the gas to go and engine reved up and at about 2500 rpm the transmission started engaging. I took it back and asked to drive a different car, but he couldn't find the keys. So I was about to leave and saw one more car I would like to drive and asked how much and he told me and then when I asked to drive it he said... I have an appointment. I was super annoyed because they didn't take down the listing of the car they sold, can't get vehicles that run right, can't find there keys and then after all that... oh I'm sorry I have an appointment. No hand off to another sales person or anything and I finally said something to them. However they didn't care as when I was talking the sales guy just walked into another room and pretended like I wasn't there. I leave and will never go back again. If I could rate ar 0 stars I would. FALSELY ADVERTISED Junk. The 2012 car I bought on Saturday was advertised as "EXCELLENT CONDITION". There was a clean CarFax, nice looking body, okay test drive. (I just got into town, a weekend, no time for an inspection.) Drove 10 miles and Engine Light came on - yes, 10 miles! This week I have been to 3 Auto Repair shops. The guy today was kind enough to pull all the Codes and the whole history - found 38 problems!! The Engine Light had been turned Off to sell the thing, and the Dealer certainly knew it!! The car had NOT been mechanically maintained AT ALL, and NEEDS a TON of WORK $$$$$. If they do right by me, with either REPAIR OR REPLACE, I will improve this rating. read more

Let me start by saying I love my car but I wish I would have read the reviews. Too many issues with this dealership to go in to details but it started with my credit being ran a month before I gave consent to finally getting a different car and having to drive it off the lot with MAYBE a 1/4 tank of gas . Had to get the oil changed to which they tried to tell me that's standard for a used car- it's not. Then within 3 weeks of getting the car I've had to take it to a auto shop because the power steering was going out. I will say that when I bought the vehicle the a/c was not working and the touch screen was broken, they promised to fix those issues and they did so / kind of . My A/C is still not blowing cool air how it should so I will be making another appoint with a name brand dealership to fix this issue too. Went into the dealership, I can honestly say it was the worst car buying experience ever. Car was beautiful on the outside, but inside and mechanically contained defects and flaws. After doing a bit more research before I purchased the car, (even though I had already signed the contract), KBB said the car was worth 1500 less than I had agreed to. I told the finance person, I was not willing to buy the car at over KBB suggested price, he insisted that I had already signed and there was nothing I could do. (BS!!) He called the "owner" and the owner agreed to sell it at the KBB price. My salesman was a total moron, nice guy but just not to competent about the products he sold, kind of like a Buick salesman trying to sell a MBZ. The pros, all the salesmen and staff are reasonably nice; they have a good wide selection of used luxury vehicles. The Cons, nothing is ever what they say it is, and you must investigate everything they tell you about anything. If you do happen to buy a car here GET A BUYERS INSPECTION! 2 years ago I bought a Volkswagen Touareg 2006 when we arrived the sales man was nice but, he didn't let us choose the car that we wanted because he said the Nissan models was so expensive for me. My kids were so excited for the new car. I truly believed that he was honest and sincere. Instead of that we had a lying sales men. He abused of my new experience to buying cars and he made buy a lot warranties. But they never responded to when I needed help and they don't even have a repair shop... Well the price was 8.000 with the warranties included it turned out being 17,000 for a discontinued car model. After a month I had problems with the catalyst converter and when I returned to the dealership the same sales man had a different angry attitude and he never ended up helping me. When a mechanic checked the car the spark plugs were wet like if they were never tuned up. I don't recommend this place to buy cars if you want to keep good credit. I would often hear about shady used car lots and thankfully, I have never had any bad experiences buying a car...until now. Not only did they sell me an unsafe car, they took money from my account unauthorized, leaving me overdrawn and accumulative over draft charges. After threatening legal action, the owner came down and approved repairs. When we were waiting for him to show up, NOBODY came to check on us - not even our salesman. The finance manager was extremely hostile and was trying to change our entire deal that we had previously agreed on. I wish I had never stopped into this dealership. It was the worst car buying experience ever. In a perfect world, they will be shut down so they won't do anyone else wrong. We were very interested in a Ram Promaster they had in stock, and had gotten pre approved for financing through them. The dealer knew we were coming from Montana (8h away). When we arrived the vehicle was not on the lot. We were given lies that they could no longer finance the vehicle for us (even though they already said they could) and tried to bait and switch me to passenger vans and even a diesel truck. We were offered no apologies for the fact we had to drive 8 hours for a vehicle we could no longer purchase. And even though $100+ was spent in gas to go there and back, I was only given a $50 check after having DEMANDED some sort of settlement. The next day I get an email from CarGurus that the Van was sold. They never told me the vehicle was sold while I was on my way, and they didn't even bother to hold it for less than 24 hours. (The main issue being they never told us it was sold). They lied through their teeth to me, and wasted a huge amount of my time and gas. BUYER BEWARE read more
