I have been renting a car every month for the past 8 months, with no issues with payments or any other situations. Front staff is amazing! I was in the hospital last week and was unable to make it to the bank to have them process the payment. Spoke with the same front desk representative I usually dealt with and explained the situation. He was very understanding and told me he would call the following week, and we could take care of the payment then. I received the call today from him and was told they needed to get the car back and would not be renting to me again. I was told the manager said it was because of my late payment. I have spent over $12,000 with them over the past 8 months, again with no payment issues. Any time I have rented a car in the past, it has always been the same location. I asked to speak to the manager because I was very confused about why I was not able to rent again due to one late payment (I was in the hospital and communicated with them). I still have not received a call. Again, with me spending the amount of money I have with this location and not receiving at least a call or a real explanation on why this has happened is rude! I will never recommend anyone to Enterprise, especially this location. The manager should be fired!! read more

Here is my story... Got hit by another driver. Their insurance (Liberty Mutual) has to pay for my car repair (their fault). Had to take my car to their car repair location down way South in Austin. Liberty Mutual is paying for my rental car. They use Enterprise. So, no choice in the matter for repair shop or rental location. Enterprise picked me up from the repair shop. Nice! Brought to their location to get my car. They did not have a car in the class that I was told I would get. I got a beater. It was bad. That's all that they said they had. It was yucky. I needed to go, so I took it. The next day, I called back and spoke with Javier (I think one of the managers). He apologized and told me to come in and they would get me a different car. I came back, Javier greeted me and had a nice young man help me out. I apologize, but I forgot his name. He was super nice, thorough and friendly. Got a much nicer and safer car than the first one. So, a negative be experience at first, fixed the next day by their manager. They apologized for the lack of cars available the previous day and did their best to make it right. I am much happier now and appreciate their service and fixing things. So, if you have a legitimate issue, be nice, be calm and discuss it with them. They will do what they can. read more

Do not use this location! The car I was given should not have been rented out - a warning light flickered on the dash (a manager said not to worry until it turns red - since when are there color-changing dash lights and lights to be ignited when they come on?), it shook as you braked to a stop, and it screeched when you turned it on. I was told someone would meet me at work to swap cars the next day and no one showed up and no one answered the phone when I kept calling for an hour. I did not feel safe driving it and left it nearby at a relative's house for them to pick up and got a ride from my relative instead. When I got a hold of someone at the location the next day, he guaranteed me I would not be charged ANYTHING because of the issues. The amount was refunded after they picked up the car (four days later), but then THEY CHARGED THE CARD AGAIN a few weeks later despite the initial refund and promise I would not be charged. The managers refused to call back, email, or refund the charge again despite my calling the national number more than three times and requesting the regional manager over the branch manager. read more

I was treated like a princess! When I arrived to rent the car initially, I was NOT having a good day. Both gentleman were caring, understanding, and showed genuine concern for my situation. They drove me back to my home when I could not locate my CC initially. Fast-forward 2 weeks to my return date and they gave me a ride up the road to my car after I had it fixed at the body shop. The level of customer service was impressive and the past 2 weeks would have been much more stressful had it not been for the generous hearts of everyone I encountered at the Menchaca location. read more

Needed a vehicle for July 5th. Had to pick up the vehicle the evening of July 3rd because they were closed on the 4th. Returned the vehicle afternoon of the 6th a Saturday. They close at 1:00 pm on Saturday so I had to use the drop box. I was charged for "4 days" !! I am not satisfied with the results !!! read more

Terrible, stole our money. We had a rental as part of an insurance claim; they added an additional charge of $38.00 to our rental agreement which was suppose to be for hail coverage. Turns out it was a $38.00 per day charge that was for major collision, something we would not of agreed to since we had no idea how long the repairs would take for our vehicle. And for those that can not do the math, $38.00 per day adds up very fast. Called to complain was assured that a manager would call me back and work to resolve the issue, crickets. A friend of mine had rented a car from the Enterprise at 10010 Menchaca and had driven to his doctor's office. Here he suffered a medical emergency and was immediately transported to hospital. We were afraid there would be difficulties returning the car. But the Enterprise staff were both understanding and caring. They were completely on top of the situation and made it as easy as possible, to our considerable relief. Their customer care was absolutely top notch. Highly commendable. read more

I've called this place 50 times in the last 5 days and have yet to get a response. Sometimes I'll wait on hold for an hour while they search for the next available agent but I get nothing. I was in a car accident and was supposed to get a rental last week but was told it wouldn't be ready until this week but I needed to confirm the day. I would stop by in person but due to the hours of my job and this place I go in to work before they open and get out after they close. It's been frustrating since the insurance has been telling me I need to drop off my car for repair but I can't if I don't have the rental. read more

Had a rental reserved under my name, but my credit card wouldn't go through for the deposit when I picked it up. I asked the man helping me if we could switch it over to my partner's ID and credit card, and he said yes. After my partner Ubers there, the manager tells us that he won't give him a car because I "didn't qualify" since my credit card didn't work, and they "know I'm going to drive the car" if they rent it to him. We asked about adding me on as an additional driver and they refused. The manager just kept repeating that I "didn't qualify" and that I "was flagged in the system". Neither man could give us a clear explanation as to why we couldn't get a car, and we were told no when we asked to speak to someone higher up. Ended up ubering to a different location and they had no issue. The lack of professionalism and knowledge by these workers was disappointing. read more

I've rented vehicles at this locations several times. Service has been moderate. Today I was completely disappointing to rent a car at this location in the condition it was presented to me (see pics). Aside from having over 21,000 miles on the car The seats were stained and had a repugnant odor. They were unable to provide another vehicle because the were 'specialty' cars. I had no other choice than to drive this car to get to business conference. It is unfortunate that Enterprise would think it's business wavy to place their customers in a car with such stains and odor. I let them know I would let our business partners know they should consider going to different locations. read more

He answered all of my questions and helped me understand all of the processes that go along with rental vehicles (I had never rented a car prior to this experience). His customer service was above and beyond and he even worked with me and my schedule and allowed me to come in a few minutes after the store was actually closed. I've used Enterprise pretty much exclusively for over 20 years but after today I will find another company to rent from. In October I made an online reservation a month in advance for a rental car through an email link sent to me BY Enterprise and received a confirmation email for the reservation for the designated time and place of the pickup. When I arrived at the scheduled pickup time I was informed they no longer accepted reservations from their online app and another rental would not be available for a week. They did not at any time contact me to inform that my reservation would not be honored. No communication what-so-ever, just unceremoniously told too late that they changed their policies and I'm screwed. read more

Their customer service (at least at this location) could not be worse. I called 3 times today to confirm that they would meet me promptly at the drop off time at the body shop down the street so that it would not impact my work day. I gladly rescheduled for a later time in the day to ensure they would be on time (I even offered for it to be moved to a different day if they could not be on time today). I arrive to my appointment at 4pm and they are not here. AMM collision calls them to let them know that I have indeed arrived, at the agreed upon time. They said they were cleaning the car and would be here shortly. I waited for 20 mins then called to speak to the manager, Leslie, who said she was the GM and she offered zero help. Only excuses of not enough staff or cars, to which I explained to her that I called THREE times to make sure that this was not the case as I can not afford to wait. She did nothing to help me. It is now 4:45 and still no sign of my rental as I type this review. So disgusted with this outcome. Would NOT recommend doing business with them. ***UPDATE*** - I thought this situation couldn't get much worse, but when the agent finally arrived 1 hour late to drop off my rental - he said he COULD NOT RELEASE THE VEHICLE TO ME. Turns out that when he scanned my license an incident from 2010 came up and I'm banned from an accident that happened 11 YEARS AGO. You would think that with all the technological advancements that we have these days they could have came to that irrational conclusion before making me wait an hour. That event happened when I was 19, I am now 30 years old. read more

Car rental has gotten so quick it's unreal. You show up and if they have a car, you put a deposit or credit card for the deposit hold, then you go outside check the car out and sign the iPad/application and on you are on your way within 15 minutes tops! People at this location are friendly, professional and attentive. However, I called what I thought was the location phone number but their phones are directed to the national customer service line who do not necessarily communicate or are aligned with the local car inventory. I was told there was a car available, I show up and although they had a car it was not what I was told was available. Overall, a good experience but their systems need to be synced more often or communication between national customer service line and local stores need to increase! read more

I have used this Enterprise location twice in the past 6 months. I have been so impressed. All the employees have great attitudes and were very helpful and professional and kind (and fast). They had the car I requested (which is sometimes not the case with rental companies). I think it took about 15 mins from start to finish to get my car (both times). Awful service, truck was dirty not wiped down or cleaned. Tires had screws in them and leaking air. Representatives there added a damage waiver I did not want. I am very surprised at some of the other reviews because this location has always gone above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and taken care of. I go on long road trips for work, so I have rented from this location around 15 times and NEVER once had a bad experience. Sooooo then I got to thinking... Majority of these bad reviews came along with one of the following occurrences. #1) Customer having been through a traumatic experience, like having their car totalled. #2) Customer coming into enterprise already a little frustrated because their car is broken down and they need to take it into the dealership. I understand stressful things happen in your life, but try your hardest to make the best in every situation. One of the very first times I rented from this location, a lady came like a ball of fire, hysterically yelling that she needed a car immediately!!! If they didn't give her one she was going to call corporate and complain. Roman took charge and helped calm the lady down. He handled the situation MUCH better than I would have. I couldn't believe the amount of patience he had with her. read more

I'm pissed. I just returned a car and forgot to put gas in it. When I asked the guy how much it was, he said "a dollar a gallon". It was $3.59 a gallon!! Rip off. It's not the first time they screwed me here. Last time, no one was 'available' to check my return and they charged me saying it was damaged. It wasn't. I came here for a car rental because I was in a car accident and my car was towed. My car insurance agency set up the rental on a Friday night, the night of the accident. I showed up Saturday right after they opened and quickly learned that all they had left was mini van. I was like hell no! I said I would come back on Sunday and get a car. My first car I got was a Nissan Altima. It was nice car but had a slight smell to it, a combination of McDonalds's, BO, and desperation. I had parked the rental car outside that evening and we just so happened to have had a big rain storm that night. The next morning I pull out of the driveway that is parked on a hill and tapped the brakes. As soon as I did this, rainwater starts pouring into the car. There was a leak in the windshield!! What?? So I take the car over to Enterprise and tell them the story. The employee upgraded me to a Jeep at no charge. I can't blame the first rental car on them since who would have known that the windshield was leaking. I was happy that I didn't fill up the first car because when I got both cars they only had 1/4 tank of gas. That is annoying because who wants a rental with a 1/4 tank of gas? That means when I return it they will more than likely make a slight profit because who can return a car at 1/4 of tank. It takes timing and precision to make that work. I will do that of course but I am a weirdo like that. Sticking to the man. read more

I've had a lot of horror stories with renting a car, but Enterprise has never let me down so far. This was no exception. The crew here was what I expect at an Enterprise branch and I left feeling very satisfied. I had a great experience on coming in for a rental car for a long road trip. Car was available when I arrived and it was in great condition. It smelled like new, was clearly recently detailed and worked great for my trip. The service was extremely friendly both on checkout and return, and the process was super easy. I'll definitely be renting from them again. read more

I don't know what Enterprise Rentals does to their employees, but I wish that their competitors were in on the secret. Every Enterprise that I have ever stepped in has treated me with nothing be smiles and fast service. This has been way too many times, in far too many cities to be a coincidence. In an industry where customer service means about as much as employee hygeine, (I thinking about you, girl that works at the counter at the Phili Airport Budget Rental) Enterprise has trained their employees a crazy technique: 1) Be nice to the customers! 2) Treat them like you want them to use you again! That seems obvious, but I have found no other car rental company that has that figured out. If you need a car rental, use these guys. They are just as cheap as everyone else, and don't make you feel like dirt for being their customer. read more

After a recent car accident, I rented a car from this Enterprise location for a week while my car was in the body shop. The employees were friendly, respectful, and efficient. The rental car was clean and didn't have that funky rental car smell that I've experienced before. When it was time to pick up my car, one of the employees gave me a ride to the body shop down the street. Sweet! (Kind-of-unrelated-sidenote: I will carry rental insurance for the rest of my life. The nicest and fastest service I have EVER received from a rental car facility. I got my rental after being hit by another car and the wonderful people that work at this Enterprise location MADE SURE that the other insurance company didn't cheat me. The other insurance company was trying to skip out on the tab (because my rental had to be extended to do repairs on my car) and Enterprise picked up the phone and called to let me know that they had not followed through yet. Luckily it all got taken care of but I may have been left with a pretty high tab because of this insurance company had the Enterprise workers not called and let me know. Really awesome staff and really quick when picking up (I was in and out in about 15 minutes max). I was also able to leave my rental with AMM Collision down the road on Manchaca when I picked up my repaired car and Enterprise picked it up that evening. If you need a car repaired, definitely head down to AMM too (I have a review for them as well). These two work well together and do everything to help you out and make life easier. read more

I made a reservation here 03/10/2022 my reservation was at 2 o'clock but they called me at 2:06pm that's 4 hours since I made my reservation and they told me the cars were getting oil change but I should have a car soon. So I never got a call decided to go there at 4:30pm since they close at 6:00pm I get there and there was 2 people ahead of me I waited then it was my turn my total was $114 for 24 hours but had to put $300 down for deposit I was like ok that's fine so we tried my credit card didn't go through tho had enough money then the guy (Jacob) was like let's try again we did twice then he was like we cannot try more than 2 times I'm like I like I have money there it's a credit card and I know for sure I have money there so he asked me for a different card so I gave him my debit then he is like I wanna see a bill and paystub I'm like is that necessary he is like that's company policy I'm like ok so I give him my phone bill and paystub with debit card and he looks at my debit card and he is like give me a minute & I'm like ok so he comes back and says I owe on my utility bill I'm like what does that have to do with anything he is like you can rent a car if you owe a utility bill In my head I'm like this is not my 1st time renting from this company and this never happened before. He is like it's company policy but all along since I walked in that door I knew from the way he talked to me I knew I wasn't going to get a rental cause 3 other people white came after me and go better cars for less than what I was paying and to make it worse the car that I was supposedly getting he switched it and gave it to a white lady who had a bigger rental but wanted some Thing small so all in all if you black don't even try walking in this place enterprise on manchaca rd. Racism is real and it's sad that people like Jacob are allowed to do customer service to such a place where anybody can rent the car. Very sad and I won't stop till Jacob and his colleague stop working there my voice must be heard. I am absolutely ecstatic about renting from the Manchaca Enterprise location. My beloved Dodge Ram 3500 dually broke down on the side of the road in south Austin. My two children (ages 9 and 6) and I were heading down to San Antonio for the weekend. My husband was going to follow us on his motorcycle after he finished at work. After making arrangements for my truck (which I LOVE) to be towed to a repair shop, I called the closest rental car agency, which happened to be Enterprise. I spoke to Andrew, who was very helpful. He rented us a lovely SUV which enabled my children and I to not only be rescued from the side of the road, but we were also able to successfully make our trip to San Antonio. My son was in tears when the truck broke down, but overjoyed when he got into the SUV. My truck was in the shop for an entire week (transmission problems) and I had to extend the rental on the SUV three times. Each time I called in I spoke to a different rep, but I had absolutely no problems with the transactions. Thank you SO MUCH to Andrew and the rest of the Manchaca Enterprise associates. You saved our entire week! And on top of that, I loved dealing with actual local people and not just a huge company. The personal touches really make a difference. :) Cheers! read more

We were in a bind, truck had to go in the shop, I had to get my oldest to College Station for the weekend and we were in a bind. They first picked me up at where we dropped my truck off(slightly out of the way), got me in a great vehicle and sent me on my way. Brought it back the next day and was going to have to wait for hubby to pick me up. I asked if they could give me a ride to a local eatery and they said yes, even though it was closing time for them.
