Just the right amount friendliness and helpful that you would expect from a professional in a world class resort. No bullshit service you get from a script, Zack is 100% real. Extremely Disappointed - No Car, No Help, No Accountability I had a car accident and my insurance company made a reservation with Enterprise for a rental vehicle while my truck was being repaired in Vail, Colorado--about 40 minutes from where I live. Enterprise called me two weeks ago confirming they received the work order from the insurance and scheduled a pickup for today at the auto body shop. I arrived as planned, dropped off my vehicle, and waited... and waited. After over an hour and a half with no one showing up, I called them--only to be told they had no cars available and didn't know when they would have one. Not only did they fail to notify me ahead of time, but they also offered zero help or solutions. It was their responsibility to handle the logistics and come up with alternatives. Instead, they left me stranded and told me "they didn't know anything." I had to spend $80 on an Uber back home and personally arrange a new rental with another Enterprise location--something they easily could have done themselves. This level of disorganization and lack of accountability is unacceptable, especially when working directly with insurance providers. Enterprise left me without a car, without options, and without any sense of customer service. read more

I have a car rented at this location and decided to go in early just to double check the rental and do anything I can to make the pick up run smoothly and quickly. As I was waiting I listened as multiple people were told sorry no car. The employee was a nice enough guy but truly just doesn't care. He states it's corporate who isn't listening and not putting the sold out signs up online. I had ordered my vehicle days in advance and to hear him say he "hopes" a vehicle will come in is just not how you run a business. I understand that this is a small rental center but to see/hear approximately 4 people in a span of 90 minutes get told "sorry" is shocking. This is not a place I would rent a vehicle nor if you are thinking about renting here would I expect to receive a car. There is no thought given to the money that could be out due to the fact many of us can't get to where we are going. Truly disappointing from such a big rental company that this is how they let their customers be treated. I hope the woman who was stranded is able to come up with something because as I left she was sitting on the bench in shock and close to tears. read more

Was quoted $460 for a 5 day rental. When I arrived, they told me there would be an additional $300 deposit. When I picked up the car it was dirty, however, I made it work as I was in need of a car while mine was in the shop. I needed to change the drop off location so I would be close to the mechanics who were working on my car. When I finally got ahold of someone at this location, I was told that they could make the change for an additional $250. They specifically said this would be taken out of the $300 deposit I had already paid. They did not take this from the deposit, instead they charged my debit card another $276. I called the customer service department, after I had tried calling the Avon location, and was told there was nothing they could do about it. I was also told that the location manager would call me back, this never happened. I would recommend not using this locations services. read more

I rented a car from them 2 months ago and I purchased third party car damage insurance. There was a slight damage to the car that was charged to my credit card 6 weeks ago. When I filed the claim with enterprise they took more than 3 weeks to report back the amount for the damage although they had already charged me for the damage. When I called the location for information, they did not have any details and referred me back to enterprise's damage and recovery unit. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone else! read more

This location released the car I reserved and told me I made a noon reservation. I made a 4p reservation knowing I couldn't get there before then. I walked away with a mini van - which I was NOT Comfortable with. The manager at the desk was then incredibly rude. I also had to pay double the reservation to drop the car at an airport. I rented a car at Enterprise near the airport and was hoping to swap one out for another at the Avon location. We were having some technical issues with our car and I had passengers so I wanted to drive a car that felt "safer". We stayed at Vail Cascade and they mentioned that when the local Avon store has extra on hand they may swap a car out if possible. I called when they were closed and never hear back from them 24 hours later. I left tgem a lengthy voicemail and told them exactly what I was experiencing and left my contact name and number twice. I arrived at office, agent told me all there was only one car available at the entire site, was unaware of what corporate office quotes. Was a different car than was promised. I got car only to find it smell strongly of Marijuana. I called back asking for a different car, only to be told there were zero cars available and I could not change. I was put on a mysterious waiting list. When there is a branch office and a corporate office, I don't think they have the same info or communicate in any way. After all of this the corporate office contacted me, they wanted to hear about my experience, they listened and branch manager also helped me. I rent from enterprise almost twice a month across the country. I rented here in Avon last week and experience was amazing. The office called the day before, confirmed my rental information, pick up time and provided me additional information. We had a minor glitch the day of my rental and the office, Rachel, called before I arrived offering me a couple of solutions none of which inconvenienced me but rather made my trip back to Denver easier. I can not express enough to stay away from this company at all cost. I attempted 3 times to make a reservation, the call center confirmed they had a car and I Ubered to pick up my car. I arrived to them saying they had no cars and to make a reservation tomorrow and come back. After an Uber home and another confirmed reservation with a call center I ubered back to enterprise.... to yet AGAIN find out they had no cars. They made 2 reservations knowing they had no cars. I later found out they have a reservation quota to fill.. so what they are doing is getting as many reservations as they can at the cost of the customer spending time and money trying to get to the car. Finally had to Uber an hour away to get a car from a different company then learning that enterprise owns. A DISASTER company that just cares about making their reservation quota. read more

I live locally and had to rent a car for a few days. I selected Enterprise Rent-A-Car because they will drop off the rental car at your front door and when you return the car, they will drive you back to your house. Lucas dropped off the car and was extremely customer service oriented as he helped me pack several bags into the rental car. When I returned the car and walked up to the counter, I was greeted with a warm, friendly smile from Chandler who was very busy, nonetheless, provided exceptional service. Within 2 minutes, he had finalized my paperwork and he dropped me off at my house. I definitely will use their service again. read more

Well, Fred and Grant hooked me up with a rental right away and gave my a discounted "shop rate" while my car was being repaired. I just have a general complaint about Lee, the Manager at the Avon location. I spoke to him twice last week to schedule an appointment for a pick up at an Auto Body shop since I needed to get my car fixed. After speaking to Lee, I found that there were no cars available Monday, so I switched my appointment with the body shop to Tuesday to line up with the availability that Enterprise had. Lee failed to pick me up, call me or do anything proactive. We called him and he said "I didn't know you needed a pick up, we don't have any cars available" You've got to be kidding me! I spoke to you twice last week to make the reservation. This has also happened to 4 other customers in the past week according to the shop. This is absolutely unacceptable. We were there today trying to rent a car from the manager Rachael she was rude to us because we were asking questions on the process that we had never been thru before (first time renting a car). She was condescending, rude, rolling her eyes at us. I have never been so mistreated before, this is a tourist area and if they are treating the locals like this I feel for the tourist coming here to rent. We went there twice to rent the car the second time she ran my card for more then the agreed amount. I wish I could give this place negative stars! I will never use this car rental service again! I made reservations for 2 cars one week in advance for a pick up the day after Christmas. I received my 2 confirmation emails and thought I was good to go. Boy was I wrong! A very unprofessional kid called me 1 hour before I was to pick up my rentals to inform me that due to cars not being returned they were not able to provide me with my rentals that day and I needed to find another means for transportation. Are you kidding me!!! He was rude and offered no real explanation just said he didn't make my booking so it's not his fault. I'm furious...I'm out of state with my family trying to make our flight back home. I now had to figure out how to get 9 people to the Denver airport the day after Christmas. I was able to send 3 of us with another group early to the airport and Luckily HERTZ had 1 SUV available. Only they are located 40 mins away in Eagle. Again, luckily I knew someone who could drive me there. Unfortunately because it was so last minute it cost me $700 to rent this one car. And another $250 to get someone to return the car back to Eagle because they would not allow me to leave at Denver airport. When I was expecting to pay around $500 for the 2 from Enterprise that I was allowed to leave in Denver. How unprofessional is this? Not only did you cost me $500 over what I budgeted for but you inconvenienced 10 people! Thank goodness I was able to rely on HERTZ. Here is the kicker I never even received a phone call from management to apologize or offer an explanation. Keep this up and I guarantee you will go out of business! read more

I will never return to this business. We rented a car from here after our truck was totaled by another driver. If you live at high altitude, you know the deal with windshields. Anyways, while garaged at our house in January, the windshield developed a crack. We were prepared to dispute it, but the employee who checked us out when we returned the car was so backed up they just had us leave it parked out front. We later got a letter from Enterprise. We called our assigned claims rep, and left 3 voicemails, never getting a call back, but continuously being put in contact with only that person. We received letters telling us to call them....which we did....only to get a voicemail.....We then got a call from our insurance. We told them we were trying to dispute the claim. Today, 3 months later, we finally hear back from our enterprise claims rep. They've already filed the claim, eliminating our chance to dispute. Our policy paid for a new windshield. Obviously this is more of a general Enterprise rant, but this specific location has been absolutely no help whatsoever. read more
