We got into an accident and stranded in Battle Creek on a late Saturday night. With no place to go we got a hotel room thinking we could get our rental car. Why are they closed on Sunday? Do people not need rental cars on Sunday? There should be SOMEONE there 7 days a week. I worked insurance claims for 20 years and never saw anything like this for poor customer service. read more

Showed up to get my rental car for an important work trip. Was informed there would be atleast a 20 MI wait. No problem at all. The lobby was full of people with the same rental time as me and there was not a single car available to even begin cleaning for any of us. Waited over 1 hr, the others in the lobby left as well. I missed out on very important work meetings. Also I live far away so had to find a ride to come get me after getting dropped off earlier. They called the day earlier to confirm my reservation and made no mention of being over sold. Ended up using a PTO day at work, wasting 2 peoples time dropping me off and picking me up, and missed mandatory meetings. I never ended up getting a vehicle. After a hot air balloon landed on our car parked in our driveway, their insurance company rented a car for us through Enterprise. We were supposed to get a Toyota Corolla utility we ended up with a Dodge Charger, which my husband did not mind. Overall, we had great service with Enterprise! read more

worst company ever, we went though them for a rental car. our car had went down and the bank said not to fix it . so we were working with the bank so we could get another loan for a new car. and that took some time to get that going and find a new car. and i still had to work so we went though enterprise . we was using out one and only credit card and we had receipts saying they were taking the money off every time we would call to get more time on the rental. we hit having the car for a month and we had to renew the contract for it. we found out they had overdraw out credit card. and we only have one . when my husband talked to them the manger said he wait till the end of the month and pulls the money. but when we talked to our bank and they did a deep drive into the credit card account it showed no one taking money out and they were the only ones able to take money was for the rental. even though we have receipts saying they took the money. and they even said they were refunding us $600 and we still have not gotten it. someone there is pocking money. never again will we ever go through them again. they will steal money from you. read more

My insurance company sent me to the Battle Creek location to rent a car. I was to rent a car at the insurance rates instead of the normal rates. The insurance company covered ALL cost, including tax. For some reason, the employee told me I would personally have to pay for the tax, not the insurance company. I tried to explain to the employee that I've rented from them several times before and the insurance company has always paid for everything, even the taxes. He then looked through his computer system and told me he didn't see my name in the system from past rentals. Is this guy telling me I'm lying??? I then called my insurance company and explained the situation to them. I placed them on speakerphone so everyone could hear and discuss this. My insurance company told them they cover all cost, including tax. The employee then proceeded to tell them that he's been there for 2 years, and this has always been the case. The insurance agent then told him that she's been doing this for 15 years and this has never been the case. The employee then told the insurance agent that I would also have to pay 70 dollars in advance as well. He said the 70 dollars in for the number of days I plan to have the vehicle. After hearing this, I knew something wasn't right with this place. I explained to the employee that I've never had to pay for my days in advance as my insurance company has always paid when I returned the vehicle. He then stated this was something they are now doing. After this exchange, another employee then entered the conversation with an argumentative attitude. He told the insurance agent that this is their policy and it's up to them if they want to rent there or not. The insurance agent then told him that their company has dropped Enterprise before because of this type of practices and attitude and they'll have no problem dropping Enterprise again. When it was time to pick up the rental, the employee then decided to "waive" the 70 dollars in advance. This only furthered my suspicion. In conclusion, the customer service at this location has definitely declined. Hopefully, I can rent from a different company next time. read more

The staff here was so nice and very helpful. We had booked a midsize car and when we arrived they were out of midsize and so we were upgraded to a dark blue Dodge Challenger. What a sweet ride, and we got a great deal on it. And getting the lift back home when we returned the car was the topping on the cake. Would rent from here in a heartbeat. read more

Why isn't there an option for no stars? This place is a fxcking joke! I put a reservation online and my total was around 100$. I went to the location. The women that assisted me was Meg Maltz. She is a short hair blonde women. This location doesn't accept Cash. She askes for form of Payment and Drivers License. Asked question about insurance and emergency contact,etc. So we go outside and she tells me they don't have any Compact Cars that I reserved for. Instead the only thing they "had" was SUV. She didn't charge me extra for it. She hands me this plastic card where we go around the vehicle to see if there are marks bigger. There was none. She turns the vehicle on explaining everything to me. I sit in the vehicle, run my card and tells me that it was declined. I asked her how much it was. She told me 300$+.I told her to take the off the extra shit I had. I had said my online reservation is 100$+. This is what pissed me the fuck off. She tells me that there is a 200-250$ deposit. I had to figure this shit out and call me. This gotta be a fucking scam. I did this shit on the website and there was nothing that said anything about a fucking deposit. How tf are you going to tell me this last minute? It gets even worst. I'm outside making calls and because I didn't have the money, they gave the rental to someone else. That is some fucked up shit. She was rushing me bc it was closing time for them. She said that the kzoo location is open tomorrow. I know she was talking shit about me. That how it is with every customer experience. I'm letting you know right NOW! Do not come to this place UNLESS you have the 200$-250$ for deposit. A fair warning!! read more

So I just booked a reservation on the Phone with a representative and I specifically told her I'm picking it up ASAP, and she asked if I was paying with debit or credit card, I said debit, we even updated my info since I just got married and changed my last name. But when I got to the store he said he only had a car that excepts credit cards not debit cards so I said that was fine but my credit card has my maiden name on it so I showed him a secondary card with my married name on it and he said it should be fine but then he went back to talk to the manager and she said I needed a marriage license, why would I be carrying my marriage license!? I have had way bad experiences with enterprise and I never complain. I have rented cars about 4 times in the past year with my credit card and hand no problems. read more

Booked an economy car and when I went to pick it up they were out so they upgraded me to an suv. While some people may be happy about that I wasn't. I was driving to florida on a budget and specifically picked an economy car for the gas mileage. I don't understand how you can reserve a specific car and then it isn't available. Come on, you should be able to tell when someone rents something if it is going to be available! read more
