Rental agreement number 9WK7HV. I was charged $1,500 for the rental thats supposed to be paid by Land Rover. I called Manager Josh but wa put on hold for over 30 minutes and hung up. I called back and was told that he was handling many costumers and promised me a callback but never did. Land Rover received a reply from them that I was already credited weekd ago which is all a lie since nothing reflected on my card amounting to $1500. I just called Enterprise Accounts recievables office and they advise me that they will email the branch to handle this dispute. This is very frustrating it is such a rigmarole to resolve a refund thats months old and bill was settled by Range Rover. Very poor in handling disputes and no troubleshooting skills. Just when I thought I'd never use Enterprise again due to such poor service, the Sherman Way team--especially Will--completely changed my mind! I had a terrible experience with Enterprise in Chatsworth, and I only booked there because it was the closest location to my home. I made a reservation 2-3 weeks in advance for a minivan, as we were picking up our son, who would be bringing four pieces of luggage. A week ago, I called to confirm our reservation and ensure we'd get a Chrysler Pacifica, which they confirmed. However, on the day of pick-up, after working in the morning, I arrived in the afternoon, only to be told that they had given away my car. I had explicitly told the rep during the call that I would pick up the car Friday afternoon because we were leaving early Saturday morning. His response was, "Sorry, we had your reservation at 8 AM, and we give a one-hour allowance. Since you didn't call, we gave away your car." I asked if they even tried to contact me, and he replied, "There are only two of us here, and we didn't have time to call because we were busy with other customers." He was dismissive and immediately moved on to the next customer. The waiting room had three customers (including myself), and only one staff member was outside retrieving cars. Frustrated, I called Enterprise and was told by the trunk line for reservations that the Sherman Way branch had a minivan available. I was hopeful, so I rushed to the location, but upon arrival, my heart sank. The place was packed--people were waiting outside, and more were inside. It was clear that the branch was busy, but I noticed around five staff members working hard, yet still managing to provide excellent customer service. Then, Will approached me with professionalism and a friendly demeanor. He asked for my name and politely requested that I wait as they worked hard to accommodate everyone. His calm attitude had a calming effect on the other customers, making us all feel valued. When my name was called, I was told that the staff didn't know there was no minivan available because I had called the general reservation line, not the local branch. I explained the poor service I received at the Chatsworth branch, where they gave away my car without even attempting to help. Will, recognizing the frustration and desperation in my voice, told me to wait while they worked to find a solution. That was enough for me to hold onto hope, but I also accepted that it might not work out. Then, I overheard their team discussing bookings, and--voila!--they made it happen! They were able to secure a minivan for me. I can honestly say the Sherman Way team is the best in the Valley! What stood out most wasn't just that they made it happen, but the empathy, patience, and teamwork they demonstrated. The calmness and dedication to providing excellent service made all the difference. This experience restored my faith in Enterprise. I had to coordinate a rental car while my car was in the shop. I set an online reservation for a few days for a compact SUV. This location was definitely extremely busy upon entry and they were unfortunately having issues with their payment system, but staff kept everyone aware and handled us all with ease. I don't expect rentals to be cheap, and I've had prior experience with coordinating rentals through my insurance due to car accidents but this time I paid out of pocket. Around $250 for three days (including the CDW). Great experience overall and staff was quick upon return to make sure I was on my way and offered a ride to my next destination. Ver slow staff(there is always just one person and you have to wait so long) They always confirm they have the car you chose online but when arriving at the pickup location they say they don't have it on inventory and the other options which they call it "similar" are just bunch of ugly cars that I guess no one picks them. When a tire showed loss of air, he got somebody to replace the tire ASAP, and so I made it in. time to pick up my passengers at LAX. The only negative is that the lot is terribly congested, cramped, and so difficult to find a place to park. Because of the STUPID, never-used bike lane on Reseda, there is no street parking available, and much of the enterprise lot is stuffed with cars for sale. I had an exceptional experience at this location. My car was in a collision and I decided to choose a car rental company closest to my body shop. That's what brought me here. Immediately upon coming into this location, I was greeted warmly by a young man who very, VERY quickly ran my information through the system and brought up my file. He quickly got me set up with a rental and I had to have been out of there no more than 10 minutes before I arrived. This is the type of service that will keep me coming back, even if it's for renting leisurely. Best car rental experience ever!! I came in this past Tuesday after Labor Day and this place was completely packed! My mind was literally blown by the professionalism of the entire staff. Lily was at the front desk and handled the crowd of people and directed her fellow team members in such a calm, professional and efficient manner. She was super organized and really moved things right along. I'm not sure if she's the manager but she sure directed the team members and all of the customers very well and all the while she was charismatic. She treated each and every customer as if they were the only customer. I must say that is not an easy thing to pull off unless you truly know your job and enjoy doing your job, which she clearly does. If I could give this Enterprise location 10 stars, I really would. Patrick was extremely nice and helpful. One of the few reps I have met that went out of there way to make sure I got what I needed and got me the heck out within 20min. A very disappointing and confusing experience. I have used Enterprise regularly for years and years - until the last 18 months or so because of COVID. Extra complication being that since I no longer live in the US I need insurance too. I booked a BMW 5 ("or similar" in the rental car vernacular) and turned up to pick up the car for 3 weeks. After showing all my ID, credit card, passport, UK driving license (and agent had called his manager) I am shown an Audi as my vehicle. To me this was not "similar" but I disappointedly went along for a while. I asked about insurance costs and it came to about $60 per day! Just for insurance - while non-premium are more like $16.99 a day plus a supplement to cover other vehicles involved in a possible accident - but in total less than half of this ridiculous amount. So while I was thinking about it I asked about the white Mercedes next to it (the only other premium vehicle and I have always been a Merc man both US and UK for well over a decade. Told that was reserved hmmmm. But he called his manager and said I could have it but it would be a $50 per day upgrade charge!!! Do the math folks $60 per day insurance plus $50 per day upgrade, 20 days - $2,200 plus the $1,300 rental fee is $3,500!!!! Interestingly when I booked the car on the website it clearly states 100 miles per day and $0.99 per mile thereover. But the agent tells me - oh no - unlimited mileage. Did I believe him? No! Was I going to pay $3,500 for 19-20 days car rental even with unlimited miles? Heck no! No thank you. Ridiculous - a very disappointing experience. I voted with my feet and went to a different nearby Enterprise and had the usual good experience (not Premium - I wasn't going there!!) and have a nice full size for one third of that total cost. read more
