I realized almost immediately and went back to Enterprise within 10 minutes, only to find out the car had already been rented to another customer. Apparently, the detailer found my bag and gave it to the next customer who rented the car. I honestly couldn't believe it. It then took three days to get my belongings back. During that time, I didn't have my work badge or parking pass, which created a huge hassle at work. When I finally got the bag back, one item was missing. I do give Enterprise credit for ultimately trying to help me retrieve the bag and getting in contact with the customer. However, I really don't think my belongings should have been handed over to another customer in the first place, especially when I returned within 10 minutes of realizing I had left them behind. One star for their efforts to help retrieve the bag, but the entire situation was incredibly stressful and unnecessarily inconvenient.

I want to focus one one problem which has now happened twice. Avis rented a Chevy Malibu to me and while driving to Las Vegas the CHECK ENGINE OIL light came on. That makes me nervous as I'm driving my family through Death Valley. I took the time to purchase oil and ultimately swapped the car prior to the return drive across the desert. That's time and money taken from my trip. And it has happened twice, with two different vehicles. The time it took to make the transfer of vehicles made it impossible to return the car to Woodland Hills on time. So I was charged for an extra day. I'd like to see these companies put more effort into vehicle maintenance so that these things don't happen to us.

My wife was hesitant cause she is used to other car rental place that charges extra if the car reserved was unavailable. She answered "no" due to the potential upgrade cost. The staff courteously asked again "are you going on a long trip?" The answer was yes. The staff said they have a more comfortable ride which was a bigger, better and newer ride - the expedition max which just arrived this morning. Long story short (which it was actually short) she came home with an expedition for the price of minivan. To top it all, everything went so smoothly. She was in and out in about 15 minutes. Everytime we come here we were treated with dignity and respect. I hope i can give more stars but 5 is the limit. Mr. Emil Hadad just rent me a defective/broken car for a 100$ for two days and 500$ deposit. 30 minutes after I got the car I return it because it was literally dangerous to drive and Mr. Emil refuse to refund me or compensate me for my time that i spent (almost 1.5 hour to get the car) and the inconvenience. After an argument he was willing to charge me for 40$ for a broken car that I had for a 30 minutes. Also, in the contract they wrote that I got a full gas tank while I had less than 1/4.
