Not sure if I just have bad luck here or what, but bother times I've been here I haven't had a great experience. Today I was picking up a rental car while my car is in the shop. They didn't have the size car I requested, so I was put in a different car temporarily. The car reeked of cigarette smoke so bad I couldn't get the smell out even with the windows down. I didn't have time to take it back because I was on my lunch break from work. I called around 3:30 pm to see if the car I requested had come in yet (they said they were expecting one around 4 or 5). They didn't have anything yet, so my husband and I decided to drop the stinky car off and run errands until something came in (this was around 4:30-4:45). The girl at the front desk called the store at the airport and she said it would be about 30 minutes until they had a car ready. We got back to the store right before closing. The car still wasn't here because no one called to say it was ready to pick up. So my husband and I got to wait another 10 minutes until we could leave. The Manager was very apologetic about the smoke smell in the first car, but I feel like they are extremely disorganized. I made this reservation weeks ago, and it's been such a hassle and inconvenience for me. Hopefully they can get more organized and make their customers feel like they, and their time, are important. read more

I rented a car for one of our employees through our corporate account. Once my employee arrived, the worker insisted that he provide a personal credit card for the deposit. I called and talked to Theresa. I tried to explain to her that with a corporate account, everything gets charges to the corporate account even the deposit. She refused to listen. I asked to speak to a supervisor, she stated that the supervisor was off and she is not going to bother them. I called Enterprise corporate. They confirmed that our employee should not have to provide a credit card, everything gets charged to the corporate account. I asked her to contact the location and she stated that she was not allowed to contact any enterprise franchise. She recommended that i call and talked to the supervisor there. I called back and spoke with Theresa. I ask to speak with a supervisor, she replied that she was the supervisor. Promotions within that office must be quick. I explain to her what enterprise corporate stated and she still insisted that she need a credit card to cover deposit. She then informed me that the reservation was cancelled by Egencia(booking agency we go through). I called Egencia. They stated they did not call and the reservation was still active. Yes, I could have just had the employee present a credit card. We have had this situation before and having proving that everything is to be charged to the corporate account already set up within Enterprise, it took weeks for the employee to get their money back. Instead, I had my employee take a uber down to St George to grab a rental there. ABSOLUTELY NO ISSUES at St George. This is not the first time we have had issues with this location. read more

If the customer has a confirmation for a car, it should be honored. As requested we went to Enterprise Rental on line, rented a vehicle in Cedar City, Utah, and had a confirmation in hand on March 13, 2024. Owner said he did not have any for rent. If one became available he would let us know. Of course, we did not hear from him today, March 14, 2024. The incompetence of this Enterprise franchise left us stranded in Cedar City, Utah, over 2,000 miles from home, for two days! We were stuck with a car in need of repairs on a road trip to my nephew's graduation. They had a car for us, we're incredibly nice and moved fast to get us on the road. We had the rental for a week and they even did not charge the lates fees to return later the 7th day because my car was not ready. The whole team was awesome. Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever encountered. We had a rental that broke down. We called and were told they couldn't help, we had to call roadside assistance. We called and they had us call the original renting location. That guy literally said he was going to Google the problem and would call back. Geez. So we called Cedar again and he said we had to call roadside assistance. We said we already did and they referred us to the local place. He said he couldn't do anything. I asked why, why could they not get us a replacement vehicle so we could be on our way. He said, "I can't just give you another car. You have to call." he asked why I was yelling at him when he was just trying to help. I said sorry, not trying to yell but very frustrated as he was literally NOT trying to help. We called roadside again and they did all the stuff for a replacement. We got to the local store and the same guy said he didn't get anything from them and couldn't do anything for us. I asked if he could call and he said no. I asked again, you can't call them and ask them? Give them the info? He said no he couldn't call and asked why I was yelling at him and said, "Are you the one who just called?" i told him I was yelling (I wasn't yelling, but I was definite elevated at this point!) because he was refusing to try to help his customers and I expected more from enterprise. He said there was nothing he could do and went to walk away from the counter. They were closing in 20 minutes so we were anxious. My friend said, "Oh they sent me a text with the roadside confirmation code." He asked for the number and she gave it to him. And he said, "let me go call". So wait. You can call? So you could have called with the rental info and they could have pulled up the claim but you refused. He walked into the other part of the office and never came back out. He asked the other guy to go check the car, the other guy felt back and said it was, indeed, dead and that he was going to gas up a new car for us. We had just filled the tank. They put half a tank in this one and sent us on our way. I have never had worse customer service. Ever. As a customer service focused person you do what you can to help take care of your customers, right? No. At the Cedar City Enterprise you tell them you can't help them, nothing you can do, while also asking them why they are mad when you're just trying to help. To come back and say, "Are you The lady who just called?" like that's the nail in the coffin and you refuse to do anything os disgusting. Shame on you. Pro tip: Next time look for ways to empathize - say something like "I'm sorry this is happening, let's see what we can do". read more

I booked a car a month in advance through Priceline. I've never rented a car before, so I didn't realize that they give your reserved car away immediately, if you're not there at the pick-up time. I was in-flight at the time and didn't get in until 10pm. In the morning, I called and they said they had called and left multiple messages (which turned out to mean 1) and that they gave my car away. I live in South Carolina, so I don't answer unknown 435 area codes, because they are always spam. They could have texted or emailed, but I suppose that would qualify as good customer service, which they don't offer. I made the mistake of thinking a 4-day reservation was valid for 4 days. Now I'm in a town where I know basically no one, at this point, and they don't have anything available, until 2 days after I leave. I already paid for the collision insurance, so I don't know if I'll ever see that money again. The lady was very rude, defensive, and hung up on me. If you need a car, try Avis at the Cedar City Airport. They are small and locally run, and are far more deserving of your business. If you're a car rental service and you can't be counted on to provide cars or service, something is wrong. read more

Good rates, good service. But the 5 star review comes from Drew helping me by sending me my glasses back. I had called a week earlier and the guy who answered my call didn't want to give me the time of day. When I described my glasses on the second attempt, Drew knew exactly which ones they were. My car broke down so I tried calling them to find out if I would be able to rent a car but then return it on the weekend when they are closed. They don't answer the phone in the middle of the day and the mailbox is full so I can't leave a message. So I'm going with a different rental car place. read more

Horrible horrible horrible!!!!!! I rented a car online from this Enterprise. Paid the $59 it quoted didn't think about it again. Drove to the location to pick up said car. After handing the young man my credit card to confirm he gave me a receipt and I went to the car. As I was driving out of the parking lot my wife gasped! They charged me a 350.00 deposit AND NEVER SAID A WORD ABOUT IT! I turned directly around and demanded my money back!!! The man said it was too late because I didn't cancel in time! Never again! Awesome experience with the Cedar City location. They were very accommodating with us in a pinch. The manager there Shandan, super flexible on check in, Shelly also very helpful on check. I arrived just after they closed on Tuesday, they saw me at the door and opened back up to get me on the road with my own vehicle -:that was in for repair. Highly recommend Enterprise! read more

Terrible customer service! Reached out to the office to let them know I was going to be late for my reservation. The employee neglected to tell me they were closing soon. When I got to the location they had closed already a employee was still on site and he was very helpful but he didn't have the ability to rent me the vehicle. He called his general manager. The manager was suppose to call back. After several attempts to call him back he continued to ignore his phone and never called his employee back. Then they told me " I was sol". Satellite radio would've been nice! And you think a midsize Toyota Camry would have heated seats but no! But can't complain only cost me $200 for the week. "but I brought it back in five days " But I still can't get over having no satellite radio.. And yeah $150 there at the last minute for a deposit was a surprise. Wound up being well worth it I put a couple thousand miles on the car in five days, in my mind it's better than using my own car.. I definitely will rent from them again!! read more

We had a terrible experience. We arrived in Cedar City at 10:45 am for an 11 am car reservation. There was no one at the desk. There were people in line who had been waiting since 9:30. We waited until noon. I called Enterprise and the attendant said that she was "terribly sorry" - she had no one in the area who could get to the desk. A huge waste of time and we will be asking Enterprise to reimburse our flight tickets. read more

Best experience ever. We had a major screw up with budget. They got us the first available car and made it so we could return it in st George. Also we had an issue with tire pressure while we were gone it was covered and dealt with quick at a auto shop. The manager we amazing. We rented a car from Evan and although he was funny,he did not tell us all the details of our rental and now we are being charged an extra $300 for a drop off fee....Which he NEVER told us about. He was more concerned about making jokes than taking care of our rental needs. We were making a trip from California to Nebraska and our car broke down in Cedar City. So we rented from this Enterprise and thought we were in good hands speaking with Evan. He said we could drop it off at any Enterprise location, and just give him a call to let him know. We decided to drop the car off in Nebraska and fly back to California. We were completely disappointed in the service of this location and the lack of information they provided. So on top of your rental fee we are paying close to $700 for a rental. If you rent from here make sure they go through ALL of the agreement with you and the hidden fees they don't want to tell you about. read more
