I had to take my car for repairs so I needed to rent a car again. Of course I went here to get a rental car. It's not far from our home. I also get a discount through my work. I reserved a car on Monday to pick up after work & after I dropped my car off. I was able to pick up my rental car pretty quickly. The reason for only 4 stars is due to the return. I turned the rental car in on Thursday after work. It took a long time to return it. They were busy, but I really wanted to get in & out in a timely manner because I still had to go across town to pick my car up. My car isn't fixed yet, so I will need to most likely rent a car two more times until my car is fixed. Hopefully pick up & drop off go quicker the next two times. We went to this enterprise because our car is getting repaired nearby. First thing I noticed was the very nice young man who picked me up was courteous and professional. Then after I went in to the office, I saw kind, respectful and happy team who enjoyed working with each other and serving the customer. Remarkable and very refreshing. The help was stellar. Amazing service . Even though I arrived late to my arrival, I had called in earlier and let them know. I was going to be a little bit late and they were extremely accommodating and supportive for my situation. The manager at the front is extremely nice and so easy to deal with. I have rented so many cars from Enterprise. This was my first time renting at this location. The car they gave me was very dirty and disgusting. They did not go over the vehicle with me to confirm there was no damage prior to me renting it. The car did not have a full tank of gas altho it was noted as full tank in my receipt. Thankfully I returned the rental to another location where I was not charged for any of the very noticeable damage. I also had to switch out cars due to all different alerts showing on the dash and they did not even fix the vehicle it was immediately rented out right after I returned it. I would beware of this location. The guy who helped me was very professional and kind but should have never allowed a dirty car to be rented. When I called to let him know he didn't apologize, brushed it off and hurried me off the phone. Do better! read more

Just rented another car from this location and I have to be honest and say that this location is the bees knees when it comes to rental car agencies. I have never been treated better and it's so nice to see customer service still being provided. Earlier in the day Avis rent-a-car on Queen Creek & Alma School did me wrong so I visited this Enterprise location to try and get a rental car for my trip up to Zion National Park. Prior to visiting this location I called Enterprise to make sure they had vehicles in stock and was told that they did. When I visited the location they stated they were all out of sedans and that I would have to upgrade to an SUV. They worked with me on the price and it wound up being about $80 more for the entire 6-day rental. Oh well. They gave me a Mazda CX-5, but when I went to start the car, it wouldn't start because something was wrong with the key fob. I went inside and they swapped out the battery in the fob. I went back out to the car and it started. I turned off the car and went in to tell the agent that it worked but when I went back out to the car again, it wouldn't start again. I went back in and they swapped out the rental car for an Audi Q5! No additional charge for that or anything. I thought that was excellent service and they want to just make the customer happy. When I returned the car, the agent helping me recognized me and asked how my trip to Zion was and we chatted a bit about the hikes I did and whatnot. I felt super well taken care of and it's little things like asking how my trip was that go a long way. read more

I was NOT told that the rental that they gave me an option from was an up charge. The agent said your insurance covers $40 a day would you like this Toyota or a Hyundai. I said I would take the Toyota and they said they put a $100 hold for all cars. When I returned they charged me an extra $300. Terrible costumer service, had to do a swap out due to a busted transmission and although we were told we got priority on car size and they would ensure we had one that was comparable Tyler refused to allow us to take the car with comparable inside space because it was technically "bigger." I literally took a measuring tape to measure the inside of the two cars offered, I explained to him exactly what I would be putting in the car and why the two cars I was offered would not work. Tyler should learn customer service skills because instead of understanding the situation at hand he simply refused to assist us beyond the 2 cars offered because he believed it was the same size. EVEN AFTER I measured and explain why I couldn't fit my photography gear in those cars. Do you think I wanted to waste another hour of my evening after spending 2 hours getting from Scottsdale to chandler because the transmission on my first car kept over heating ?? No. And then after all of that to be told over the phone if we went here to switch it out we would be able to get a car that works with what we needed and no. I've Been a enterprise customer since 1987. Downtown Chandler location is where I rented the vehicle from. That Same evening the rearview mirror inside of the car fell off. I took the car back the next morning and the assistant manager on duty (Sam), handled the situation ​very professionally. The office was busy and I've never waited longer than 15mins at best, but the wait was extreamly long, no cars on the lot ( low inventory) . She called other locations to get cars. She made sure I was upgraded to a better vehicle. Sam/Samantha, should be the manager instead of Tyler, he was so unprofessional and never address the other part of my compensation and hung up the phone on me when I called to inquire about how long it had been (2wks) and he hadn't responded or called me to resolve the situation. However, I am still a loyal Enterprise customer, until they give me a reason to take my personal and professional business elsewhere. This enterprise was assigned by the insurance that was fixing my car due to an accident. My car was fixed on a Friday where I was working and the body shop was closed on the weekend. The following Monday was a holiday in which I also had to work so I got my vehicle on Tuesday from the body shop and then turned in my rental. The body shop said they would call this enterprise on Tuesday after I picked up my car so they could have enterprise come pick up my car since enterprise also came and picked me up from this body shop. So I look at my credit cards today and notice a $280 charge from enterprise when they did not even have the common courtesy or decency to call me and let me know they are charging my card and why in which I know I don't a dime. The insurance is supposed to be paying for the rental as I was involved in an accident. So enterprise takes it upon themselves to charge me almost $300 without any notification although I filled the car up with gas, there was no damage I created, and the body shop returned the car the same day I picked up mine from them. The body shop said they would return the car for me. Since this enterprise lacks integrity, communication and doesn't even call the customers prior to any charge, I will absolutely not recommend or go to this enterprise or anyone for that matter. I will be disputing this charge as my insurance is supposed to be paying for the rental while my car was getting fixed. Shame on you enterprise for your greed and lack of integrity. This is a POSITIVE Review long overdue!! We rent from Enterprise for many years whenever we travel because we have not had any issues whenever we rent from any Enterprise Rent a Car. I always bring my new $400 BOSE wherever I travel because it blocks the airplane noise when watching a movie. Aug. 2023 we rented an SUV for a trip to Temecula, a wedding to drive 6 to 8 people together. We returned from our trip from CA and thought we cleaned out the SUV for all our items. On Sept. 30th we were going on another trip flying to Hawaii and reserved a rental from Enterprise in Hawaii. As I was packing my suitcase for our trip my BOSE was nowhere to be found!! I checked every suitcase and bag I could think of that we took to CA. I checked all over my house many times and everyone else suit cases just in case I gave my BOSE To them, which I never do. I finally looked at my last trip and realized I MUST have left the BOSE in the SUV on our CA trip. In desperation, I called the 331 Chandler, AZ Enterprise Car Rental and asked the Enterprise Car Rental guy who answered the phone if they found a BOSE headphone in Aug. when we returned the SUV. The guy asked me to describe it, so I described the BOSE plus I told him my Initials that were marked on the case. I drove down to the Rental Office and they told me the Gentleman who cleans the rentals found my BOSE and turned it in ASAP. I was shocked and ecstatic!! that they had my BOSE! It is February 2024 and I am FINALLY writing this review to THANK the kind and honest Gentleman who found my BOSE and turned it in ASAP. I am sorry I for the late review, I am sorry I did not give the Gentleman a finders fee that he deserves and I am sorry for this LONG story. My insurance company selected this car rental. They submitted the order to enterprise on Wednesday at 1pm. Received a call at 4pm stating they do not have any available vehicles and to come back the next day and they'll have my vehicle. I come and visit their office only to find out that they lied and did not have a car for me. And worse part they lied saying instructions were for me to call. Hello, what's the point of calling when they told me car would be available. Also - the most ridiculous statement they told me - Since my car being repaired at an autoshop , i should've chosen a different car rental that had a partnership with my autoshop. THE MOST ridciulous and irrelevant comment this manager said. Why does it matter? My insurance placed an order at your facility and you acknowledged that you received it. How this different any other customer placing an car rental order? Think about it. I'm not asking for a Mercedes benz or ferrari.. just any vehicle. The worst experience I've ever had. Booked online, said they had openings available. Put in all of my information, including my phone number and email, they had multiple ways they could have contacted me. On our Uber over the driver said he never books from them because of how bad this location is, now I see why. I brought my three kids in the blazing hot Arizona weather ready to finally have a car. Once we get inside, they tell us they have no cars available and say there's nothing they can do. They said they didn't have my phone number or any ways to contact me to tell me. I had to pay for multiple Ubers and wasted my time. The manager Frankie is extremely unprofessional, offered no help or sympathy at all for their mistakes. Do not recommend at all. They do not have the inventory that their system states they do (or at least, this was the excuse provided to us 3 times by different locations and the corporate call center). We had a reservation transferred here and were offered little to no assistance. If you are renting a car, just rent from the enterprise (or other rental car agency - we prefer Sixt) at the airport. If you rent from a non-airport location, they may not have the vehicle you desire in stock and will not assist in locating a vehicle at a nearby location. I was even told that regional managers were contacted to assist - no surprise, we never heard from them. read more

I had to rent a car for 3 days and insurance sent me to Enterprise. I was extremely impressed with the customer service that I received at the Enterprise on Chandler Rd. You can always tell the real spirit behind a team in how they respond to a challenge. In my case, there were a couple that they immediately went out of their way to resolve and in the process delivered superior customer service. On one day I worked with a gal who I believe was the manager. I had wanted a very specific vehicle/model. They did not have it. She told me she would keep her eye out --- and she did. When it arrived, she immediately called and asked if I wanted to switch it out. Extremely impressive. Today, upon delivering the vehicle back to them, I worked with Franky Castillo and another gentleman at the counter. They were excellent. I travel often and interact with rental car teams all over the place. The service I received here ranks in the top three of the enterprises that I have dealt with over the last couple of years. My insurance company selected Enterprise on Chandler Blvd on Monday, January 15, 2024. The insurance company submitted the order to Enterprise and they confirmed they had a vehicle for me and would contact me within 4 hours. They did not contact me so I called them. They apologized and told me they would come pick me up within 10 minutes and bring me to the rental car place Since I had my sisters car and needed to return it David said that it would be ok to pick me up at my sisters since it was only 5 minutes away from the rental car place. I gave him her address and he confirmed even confirmed the city and zip code. I waited outside for 40 minutes. They never showed up. Then they made the excuse they had the wrong number and tried to call me because they did not see me. When they told me what the number was it was wrong however the insurance company gave them the right number. Then they said they tried to pick me up which was another lie because I was standing outside the whole time except when my sister got home, and I went in her house to call them. Then they tried to tell me I was really supposed to get a car the next day and I said no the insurance company confirmed that it would be today. This company is the worst car rental place I have ever been and so unprofessional I always liked Enterprise however I will not use this company ever again. BEWARE- Complete disrespect and unprofessionalism shown by manager Chelsea Green/Jenson (she gave me 2 different names as well).. I showed up to pick up my reservation, and Chelsea had a horrible Monday morning attitude and tried arguing with me that I would have to pay much more out of pocket than my insurance agent discussed, so I asked to have a minute and stepped outside to call my agent, at this time the so called Manager "Chelsea" followed me outside and shoved her phone In my face with less than 6" of Space, and began her snippy attitude once again.. I took a second to think about what just happened and decided to let her know the attitude was unacceptable and shouldn't be shown to a customer at anytime.. I have a car from Enterprise in Chandler. It was arranged by my insurance, USAA, because my car was hit and is in the shop. I just noticed that the rental agreement was for 3 days while my car will be in the shop much longer. I have tried twice today to call Enterprise to correct this. Each time the computer has put me on hold to await the next representative. When it appears to then ring thru to a representative, it sounds like someone picks up and immediately puts me on hold again. After this happens 3 or 4 times, I get c a message that the number I'm calling isn't available now and to call back later. It then disconnects me. This happens at around the 11 minute of trying and waiting to get through.​ read more

Super friendly, prompt, efficient and they even upgraded our car! We only had it for one day, but the experience was terrific! After we returned the car, we needed to get to a bank to pick up some cash for our trip home, and they offered to drive us to the nearest branch! That's customer service!
