I recently rented a vehicle from Enterprise, and overall my experience was very disappointing. From the start, the car I received did not meet basic expectations. The vehicle had expired registration tags, which immediately raised concerns about compliance and safety. On top of that, there was a noticeable odor of marijuana inside the car, making the driving experience uncomfortable. As I spent more time with the vehicle, additional issues became apparent, this car appeared to be used as someone's personal vehicle as mail was left in the glove box and the amount of dirty and grime built in the seats was not something you see with a rental car. The car was so dirty I even decided to take it to the car was at my own expense and this is when I found what appeared to be a marijuana bud between the seats, which is completely unacceptable for a rental. To make matters worse, the check engine light was already on when I picked up the car, leaving me worried about the reliability of the vehicle during my rental period. While the staff was polite during pickup, the condition of the car reflects a lack of proper inspection and quality control. When customers rent a vehicle, they expect it to be clean, safe, and fully compliant with regulations--this experience fell short in all of those areas. I would recommend that Enterprise improve their vehicle inspection process and ensure cars are thoroughly cleaned and maintained before being rented out. Based on this experience, I would be hesitant to rent from this location again. In the future I'll use a more reliable company like Hertz. read more

Reserved a car. Paid for an Uber to this location to pick it up. They have no cars! They wouldn't even contact another location to see if they had one. They said they tried to contact me, but I have no record of any such thing. When I look online, they still list that they have the same car available. First time, they gave 3 different totals & waited until the day I was supposed to pick the car up to tell me that I can't rent the class I booked for even though I booked weeks in advance. They had ample amount of time to handle that. Fast forward today I had a reservation for 2pm, I got to the location at 2:05 exactly & doors were locked. Another customer that arrived before me told me that they claimed they already shut their systems down & locked up bc they close at 2. You mean to tell me in 5 minutes yall are completely shut down?? not to mention why tf are we allowing 2pm pickup if we're locking our doors at exactly 2? Make it make sense because, granted ik I was late, but even if I got here 5 mins earlier I bet them doors would've still been locked. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY! I am giving this location 2.5 stars. Dropoff: Arrived promptly on location - great service. However, upon turning on the ignition, WHOA, the radio was at its highest volume. I could not quickly find a knob to turn it down. Instead, I turned the vehicle off to find alternatives--volume control on the steering wheel. Vehicle: The vehicle wreaked of cigarette smoke. I had to spray Febreze on the seats and floor mats every time I got into it. Service: I called about the smell but there were no similar vehicles available until the next day when I was scheduled to leave town. I also called about the expired sticker and was informed that it was current in the office; I didn't want to be stopped unnecessarily. Dropoff: I called as I was unable to locate the facility. There was no answer. After pressing numerous options to no avail, I finally hung up and kept circling. Finally locating the facility, I parked and dropped the keys in the dropbox. There were people in the office and others were washing cars. That was over two days ago and I have yet to get a receipt. read more

I have given Enterprise plenty of chances to do better but the last two long term rentals I had from them has been terrible. Both rentals were because my vehicles were wrecked and the first thing is they gave me a vehicle that was worn out and shouldn't of been considered a rental vehicle with all the miles on it. I Can't Understand. This would be the third time a reserve a vehicle and feel accomplished, only to find out two days later that you have no cars available. You need a better system that will let you know before all the other rental lots are all booked. This is very unprofessional. Brad is a horrible manager! I called Monday and asked for my reservation to be put in tomorrow which would be TUESDAY .. i get to the location today Tuesday at 11am, the time of my reservation and he says that it was put in for Wednesday at 11.. The person that put it in, which was the assistant manger was off and there was no way for them to accommodate me because they were out of cars even though i seen multiple cars in the lot. I've been trying to get a vehicle from them for about a 5 days and they have been of no help. Steve is amazing! Super accommodating and professional. Anytime I rent from This location I get excellent service from him. I'm an executive elite member with National and I always expect to have problems with local enterprise locations because I typically do, no matter the state. However he's saved me a trend out amount of time getting a rental near my address instead of hiking it to the airport. read more

Used this location while visiting and wanted to take a mini road trip to VA. The price was decent and the staff I got was very nice! Wish they had longer weekend hours but that's every location. The hours posted weren't current so I recommend calling in. I chose an Elantra and it was a smooth ride plus being very good on gas. read more

If I could give it zero stars I would. My booking was for an insurance claim a standard vehicle. I received a compact that was dirty outside and inside. The inside rear view mirror was dirty like someone had sprayed something on it. When I went to return the vehicle to get the correct size they tried to put me in another vehicle that was obviously dirty and had fender damage. I requested to speak to the manager who advise me it got dirty with mud sitting on the lot overnight. Highly unlikely when the tire was covered in mud and dirt sprayed along the side. I stopped using Enterprise last year when their policy changed. I am now on my way to pick up my rental at Hertz. read more

I felt as though I was racially profiled and treated terribly upon returning rental. The manager surprisingly was the most rude (location # 5307 of Charlotte, North Carolina - Hunter M. as well as employee Johnathan M). The worst by far enterprise I have ever been too. The three people that I encountered 2/3 were great as can be. As far as the manager named Brad briscoe I have no idea how he is a manager because he needs to be the one outside washing the cars. First day I came in there I have never had a problem renting a car from them I recently had too last year. I come in and show my Id to proceed to get the rental . He said that he couldn't give me the rental due to my restriction that clearly says RESTRICTION UNTIL 2020. We are in the year of 2023. Saying his new management said he can't rent but went to another one with the same Id and it was fine. Also, says what restriction it was out loud. Which was unacceptable. So I decided to go get the restriction off and come back with my new Id. He brings out a car with missing hubcaps , cigarette holes and just not up to par for me paying for the rental. Before looking at car I asked Brad were there any other cars he said "NO" Due to the fact I knew I was going to exchange so I drove off with the car because by this time I had enough of him. When I drove off the car sounded like it was going to break down and the breaks were squeaking loudly . I did not feel safe to drive it. I proceed to go to the airport to exchange the car. We had difficulties because there were no cars to exchange. So me being at the stand talking to the employee to get a new car the people that were working there told the person I was dropping off to move car forward so the other cars that were being returned can get processed in . I get back to the car after discussing with the employee of enterprise and he said that he talked to Brad and he has cars . So funny that I just left from there and you said you didn't. Still at the airport my friend leaves I drive off they check my license and the car before leaving. I get back to the Same place I left and explained to Brad I wasn't driving this car because it's unsafe . He proceeds to tell me as he's turning red that he will not be renting me a car. He started to yell saying I wasn't listening because I explained to him h the situation . He proceeded to say that someone was driving the car and he asked the employee is someone was driving the car . What weird question to ask another employee. On top of that I new he was lying because I explained to him that the person at the airport said for me to come here and he said "who Greg" well weren't you just talking to him and asking him if someone was driving the car ? So how wouldn't you know who told me to come back. I explained to him I wanted me money back because he has been rude since the first time I came in there three days ago . I don't live in Charlotte I probably live a hour away. So I was stuck outside with no car and not a way to figure things out I waited there outside for him to handle anything he needed to with getting my refund. He ignored me and until I decided to finally get a Lyft . I went to go to the car to get my stuff out he locked the car so I couldn't . I asked another employee named Jamal which was very nice if he can get the keys so I can get my stuff out the car. He unlocked the door. I got my things and left. I would never get a car from there due to Brad worst manager of a company I ever met. I'm surprised he is in that position because everyone seems not to like him that has worked for him. I had a very stressful morning, but Alonzo was extremely helpful and made the rental car process painless! He got me an economy car when every other enterprise was out of vehicles. He had all of the paperwork ready to go. We signed this electronically in no time while looking over the car. Speedy! This location is very rude and I will not be returning ever! Matt the manager is the rudest and over talked me on the phone and even put me on hold without me confirming while I still talking. He advised they had 300 cars on the site and cannot call or manage everyone renting cars from them. When they had to run around with chickens with they heads cut off to find me a car to drive in the first place. No communication what so ever and then charge me a whole new day that I didn't use. I'm going to limit my review to the manager, Laurin. I've been coming to this location for almost two years and she provides exceptional service. The woman is a machine often running circles around other people in the office and handling business. Even when there are multiple customers in line she makes each and every single one feel like they are being taken care of. She listens, provides solutions, goes the extra mile and lets every person who steps through the door know she cares about their satisfaction. I've never been greeted with anything less than a smile and she knows ALL of her regular customers by name. If I were running a company I would want her training every new member of my team because she truly embodies the customer service spirit. read more

I rent a car from Enterprise for work every week. Everyone who works at this location is awesome. Multiple times I've returned my car a few minutes past the 24 hour return window and they've waived the fee. They pick me up and drop me off all the time and are always really chill and cool about it. They are all really friendly and EXTREMELY helpful and awesome people. They treat me like a real person and I'm always very happy with their service. Definitely my favorite car rental service and will be returning in the future. Two thumbs way up! read more

I have been renting from this location for over a year every month. I have found 99.9% of the employees to be friendly and professional. They pick me up and drop me off on every visit. The cars have been clean and in good working order, if they do not have a compact car then they do not charge me extra for an upgrade. I have some serious complaints about the location on Statesville Road. I have rented from this location numerous times, so many times that some of the workers know me by face. Each and every time I have come to this location it has NEVER been a smooth process. The workers give you the excuse about them being understaffed and busy but at the end of the interaction they ask how was their customer service. I have yet to be pleased with my service. The time before this last reservation I came in the morning as my reservation stated for me to do and once I get there I was informed a call should've been made to me to advise they were booked. I Never received that call. I was advised I would be contacted later if there was anything available, never was contacted but I myself called and was able to get into a car EIGHT hours later. This last visit, August 12, I was completely blown away by the lack of professionalism. One customer stated they completely forgot to pick her up. Another customer called on the line and the staff thought it was funny to joke about the conversation and how the man sounded. They thought it was a man, and it turned out to be a woman. Completely inappropriate behavior while customers are in the store. One "manager" was answering the phone with an attitude and slamming it down after each call that she took. And this behavior continued on the day I came in to return the car as well. Most of the staff doesn't have the willingness to assist attitude it's more like who is next so I can get home. My reservation on Friday was 5:30 I didn't get home until 7. I called to request the car to be picked up on Monday because I hurt my ankle and the medication I was on permitted me from driving, I was advised I would receive a call back, this was around 10-11am. 3:00 came around and I still hadn't gotten a phone call back. So, I had to come and drop the car off myself and then wait an additional hour to be brought back home, why again under staffed. I have accepted the excuses time and time again with this location but after this past weekend I will never do business there again. Justin I believe his name is, informed me of the time on Friday after I asked and I told him I had been there since 5:30. He didn't care. He didn't find any issue in me being there as long as I had been and didn't get up to see what the holdup was. He was too busy discussing him being single and needing a girlfriend. The service was friendly and competent. There wasn't a lot of options on type of cars to choose from. Location was convenient for me versus going out to airport. My one caveat was that since I retuned on Saturday After 12:00noon, I had to pay for Sat and Sunday rental, even though I returned car Saturday afternoon. That didn't seem fair and management should find a way to resolve that for customers. read more
