Worst rental car experience I've ever had. This was about a year ago, I'm still so angry about it I decided to leave a review. I rented a car from this location since my own was in the shop. When I went to pull the visor down, it broke off. Someone had broken it before me and just pushed it back up so they wouldn't have to pay for it. I could've done the same thing, but I chose to call them instead, thinking they would fix it and/or get me a different car. Big mistake. The manager said I was going to have to pay for it since it wasn't reported! I explained the situation to him and he just kept saying 'I understand... I understand...' No you don't understand! If you understood, you would be willing to work with me. I got real heated and I didn't care that they had other customers. I told them that I came to them in good faith and he just didn't give a flying frick. Only focused on the dollar, well that's no way to do business. Looks like the location on Wilma closed down but they have a new spot nearby. Renters beware! This place will send you to collections for damage that you didn't do! I'm sure they will respond to this with 'Thank you Andrew for your feedback, we would like to discuss this further with you.' Spare me. When picking up my rental, the female employee(Adrionna) was very passive aggressive and made me feel threatened if I did not make the choice she wanted me to. She pushed me to make a decision that I didn't not have all the information for. When confronted by my fiancé, she lied and stated she did not make the threat (she stated it staight to my face with others not around, of course). THEN, when dropping off my rental car, the male employe(unsure of name), was nice at first, but then when asking questions about receiving my invoice, was rude(spoke to us like we were dumb). My family and I are on a vacation and our car broke down, so I called the nearest enterprise to get all the details and costs of renting a car through them. I even explained to the worker on the phone that we would be ubering there, after he told me the TOTAL cost, the exact amount that would be charged, with my military discount at that. It wasn't even $300. Yet not once until we made all of the arrangements and got here did they mention a $300 deposit. No split payments, no debit cards, no cash--one single credit card only would be accepted for the entire amount, and my credit card was short $14. If that had been mentioned outright and up front when I called for ALL of the information I needed, instead of only the info they decided to relay to me. I had a mediocre experience with enterprise on pea ridge in Clarksvill Tn. They were about an hour late picking me up from the car repair facility. When I arrived to the store they put me Camry. When I drove a mile down the street a oil light came on and they exchange me for a 21' Audi. It was soooooo nice. I really appreciated that car. My insurance covered it a week and since I hadn't found another car I was responsible for the remaining balance. I was charged 1100.00 I absolutely hate that they will charge the credit card the weekly rate and after a couple days they removed the hold and the charge is taken off your card--they add the credit back to your card. Since I kept the car a month and paid weekly. This happened four times. When I turned the car in I was charged 1100.00. Make sure you guys are aware of this when you rent from them. They car was super clean though and the staff I spoke with weekly was super nice. read more

I turned in the car with NO damage (attendant walked around the car and verified there was no damage) and then get a bill for $800 for 2 "wheel covers"....yes wheel covers. Called to make a reservation for the 4 day holiday weekend and I just moved to Fort Campbell with the Army from out of state- 2 days in, no transportation- and they said I was out of their radius to be picked up and that a debit card couldn't be used because I have an out-of-state ID (obviously because I just moved here!). How bad does your corporate policies and customer service have to be that they can't make those exceptions for military, or anyone? No one asked me if I needed help when I came in. Then three people (who got there after me) got served before I did. One of which was in and out within 15 minutes, then the staff member told them "Don't forget the Google Review". That person then disappeared. I sat in the lobby for a total of 1 hour with my child's car seat right next to me (you'd think that would show I need to get going). Last week we rented a car from Enterprise on Wilma Rudolph in Clarksville for a weekend trip to Cincinnati for our grandson's college baseball game. We needed to get on the road ASAP on Friday morning. We explained the situation to Ashley at Enterprise and she was most helpful. Our car was ready and waiting when their doors opened at 7:30 AM. Let me start my saying My husband and I have been booking with enterprise/Alamo/National 10 years . In those ten years we always been accommodated no matter how last minute the booking was . Well I booked today for 6 day rental mid size . @12:30pm to pick up at 1:30pm the site agreed to the rental. We arrive give my husbands name .And for a second pure silence. Then this nice young man informs us they are out of cars!!!Now mind you we had to take a uber just to get the 20miles from my house to the enterprise location. Will NEVER use this location or recommend this company again! Worst customer service! I got there 10 minutes before close to pick up a car I reserved online through my bank. It should not have been a difficult process. However, I was not told I needed a utility bill in order to use my debit card. So I was going to use my major credit card, which was,almost at its limit due to the fact Christmas was 3 weeks ago. I got on the phone with my credit card company to increase limit. It would have taken 5 or 10 minutes. The lady looked at me and said, "We are about to close!" I explained that I had taken uber there and had no way to get home. I was not told I needed a utility bill to use a debit card. And the guy was about to increase my limit. She complained that they are open at 7 am and they have a life too and want to go home. The people at enterprise were extremely polite and helpful however I had a large problem with the safety of the vehicle I was driving. I got a full size Ford Focus and did more hydroplaning than not during my six hour trip. The windshield wipers were old and didn't work and the tires must have never been changed out at 45,000 miles. I let them know at the airport drop off but the information at that branch seemed to fall on deaf ears. I hope they change the tires and wipers before someone gets hurt! read more

Hello there this is Tara. I rented 3 cars with the Wilma Rudolph Blvd Clarksville TN across neer Starbucks. With all the times I have had a rental car my ID barcode never worked. So they manually entered my ID in in order to get a car. Each time I have gotten a car from y'all was becuse Wyatt Johnson (which Wyatt Johnson has paid for each time) had to fix a my car from January till now. Well today I had to get another rental. Enterprise came and picked my dad and I up from Wyatt Johnson and brought us to enterprise on Wilma Rudolph. When my dad and I got there we went inside, waited for another customer to get done. Ashley was being prissy with the customer before me. When it was my turn I got up there and told them Wyatt Johnson was renting me a car threw them. Ashley informed that the driver was so post to have already gave me the car. I told her that my ID won't work becuse it didn't last time and they manually did it last month. Well she got out her tablet with the name "ash" on it and ONLY SCANNED IT ONE TIME. With an attitude she asked me " well do you have a school ID, or any kind of ID" I told her no she looked at her manger at the enterprise store told her " this lady got a car with us a month ago you were there when she got it last time" the manger then turned to say " well without the some sort of ID barcode to scan she cannot get a car" then Ashley turned and said " well without a I'd you cannot get a car with us" very rude like.She never even try to do it manually when last time a month a ago they did. So I went back to Wyatt Johnson told them exactly what happened.I'm just upset because she NEVER even tried to scan it a second time or even do it manually like the other nice employees did last time. I have blasted you all on ever social media plat from with Ashley's name because NO ONE should NEVER be treated the way I was treated . Had a car accident on October 14,2017. I was informed that Enterprise would pick me up at 1:00 or 1:30 i didn't get picked up until almost 2:00 right at closing time. I found out that the car had to be returned on October 16,2017 by 1:30. I notify insurance adjuster about the situation with the rental and insurance would take care of immediately which they did. I was also informed that I would have the car for twenty days. Then October 19,2017 I called to check with Enterprise to find out what is going on with the rental. I was told by Enterprise that I had an open contract. Then I spoke with insurance again and was told that they would take care of everything for the rental. I spoke with the collision shop and was told that everything was taken care of for the rental I shouldn't have any problems. WRONG I got a phone from Enterprise on November 1, 2017. Was informed to return the rental on Friday November 3, 2017. I just want to know how is me and my husband to get back and forth to work. And to get two kids to their doctors appointment without a vehicle. I will never use Enterprise again. They have lost my business after this I rather walk than deal with a rental company that can't get their story straight or better record than this. read more

Last week, we were involved in an auto accident in Memphis. The Enterprise locations only had pickups, which was problematic for my wife, who sustained a fractured sternum. A few days after returning home, I contacted my insurance agent to see whether we could trade the truck for a car. To my surprise and disappointment, they only had LARGE pickup trucks. I thought the company name was Enterprise Rent-A-Car! I can't believe that, in two cities, there were NO cars available. I won't use Enterprise again for any rentals. read more

It's not the staffs fault at this location entirely, but rather a problem with enterprise itself. Apparently I'm on the do not rent list because someone in Nova Scotia wrecked a car that has my name or a similar name. (I've never been to Canada, Nova Scotia or have ever even had a passport.) I called the Canadian enterprise claims center right in the store per the employees instruction and they told the employee that they were wrong and the license number and some other info were completely different and I should be taken off the do not rent list. Meanwhile my car is getting worked on At the dealership for an airbag recall and I'm without a car. They also refused to rent to my wife, even though they know it's an error that I'm on the do not rent list. Which upset me. Apparently some supervisor in another state or maybe Canada has to remove me from the do not rent list but he wouldn't answer his phone and that didn't help me today, and now me and my wife have both missed work. I don't rent cars often, just once a year to drive to New York to see family, but I'll never use enterprise again and won't recommend them to friends or family, I'll use hertz instead. We finally got a rental car through hertz but we both had to call out of work and use a personal day before we knew we could use hertz (Toyota is paying for the rental) because it was taking so long at enterprise for a stupid mistake on their end and didn't know how long we would be stuck without a car. read more

Car plan had me in a small luxury car, ended up in a corolla with hard seats. The 12+ hrs on the road that day I was sore! Had an idiot light on for the tires, after filling up tire myself (not the store) still had light on the whole 8 days. The three extra hrs I had the car over the weekend because they`re not open til noon, cost me almost 1 day`s rental, missed it by 36 cents. Staff is OK, overwhelmed but nice enough. read more
