Enterprise has been my go-to for many, many years. This is my first time renting from the Colma location and everything went super smoothly. They called a few days before my pick-up to confirm that I needed an AWD (and I did) and they made sure to have one ready for me. I had some issues on the road that Roadside Assistance was able to help with. When I returned the car, the branch was really busy on a Monday but Maximillian, the Assistant Branch Manager, was really patient and helpful with my return. He was really knowledgeable and I saw him assisting the new employees at the branch as well. Would recommend this location and renting from Enterprise in general! (Everyone knows that if you can, you should always rent from a non-airport location! Those airport fees are a killer.) read more

This branch is conveniently located in Colma, along El Camino Real in between Collins Rd & Serramonte Blvd. I love that it's away from the madness at SFO and rates are typically lower off Airport. It's tucked away inside the Kohl's parking lot (to the left of Kohl's if facing the store). I called ahead of my reservation to inquire if they had a pickup/drop off shuttle. Kevin kindly helped me coordinate getting picked up to get my vehicle from Colma. Upon arrival, the car type I reserved was unavailable. I was offered the next class for the same rate. It took Britney, the associate helping me, 4 attempts to locate the correct keys. Her manager noticed the struggle and thankfully brought out the correct key. I was initially offered an EV to expedite the process but it was only 34% charged. So we went with the next option, a compact SUV that was nearly on Empty - it only had TWENTY NINE MILES OF GAS IN THE TANK?? After unnecessary delays at this branch, I still had to get gas and head down 1 hour away in rush hour traffic to get to a funeral. Not the ideal experience for my first visit to this branch in Colma CA. The Nissan Kick I was given struggled to accelerate to freeway speeds and made merging a nightmare even when flooring the gas. The horn was so embarrassing, I had to toot it a couple times and it gave my daughter a good laugh. Thankfully, I only needed this POS for 24 hours (and I returned it with 166 miles left on the tank - you're welcome!). Enterprise Colma's saving grace was the stellar customer service I received from Brianna and Ada upon returning the car. Ada asked how my rental was and as I was expressing my woes, Brianna overheard our conversation. She came out while Ada was checking me in and offered me her business card. Brianna sincerely apologized for my less than satisfactory experience. She rectified my poor experience with my rental car that performed less than satisfactory by comping my entire rental, unsolicited. I may consider returning to Colma but only bc of Brianna Jimenez's earnest efforts in seeing that I left satisfied. She is an asset to the Enterprise Colma team. My experience with this location was fabulous. I needed a car last minute, popped my head in and asked if they had any and they rolled with it. Tito walked me out to the only vehicle which was way bigger than my needs but my primary need was wheels. He pointed out some features. My father would have been in seventh heaven. I'm pretty sure Tito would have happily and patiently shown my father where everything was and how to operate it. I was happy to take the key and go and he was good with that too. A few dats later I was ready for smaller car that would fit in my garage and went to another location. They were nice there too. I reserved a Nissan rogue when I came in to pick it up I had to wait 45 minutes because they're ignoring me and I asked them for their Wi-Fi password so I could do something while I'm waiting and they told me they did not have Wi-Fi and I question how are they working on their tablets so they end up giving me a Mitsubishi Mirage, which is not what I reserved it all four hubcaps are missing. I have called and I have called to be upgraded and they would say we will call you back if someone turns in the car that they have no cars right now I just went in right now and there was three people picking up their reservations, but they didn't have a car for me. I'm still in that Mitsubishi Mirage with all four hubcaps missing lights are going on. It was storming raining. I felt like this car was just gonna blow over their customer. Service sucks and that's being nice. They they just don't care. They just want to get the car out probably cause nobody ever rents this car. They're not even trying to compensate me by charging me half of what this rental is the last person I spoke to Jason and he was very condescending when speaking to me you know customer service doesn't even exist anymore, especially with enterprise no wonder why it has some 3.5 stars have that the manager should really have the rental people take classes and when you reserve a car, it should be there because you reserved it. Luke was great with checking me in with the rental and going over everything. My biggest fear driving has always been tires. So I was glad he checked the psi on the tires and noticed one tire was low and had it checked out before releasing it to me. Upon returning the car, Luke was also there to assist me in the return. The worst customer service from Brianna! And I work too a customer service and never in my life I meet such a unprofessional person. First her actitud is the worst. She doesn't help for anything. We got there around 10:00 am for our car. WhenI saw the car we were about to get I asked if it was something smaller. Just because I am a small person and I got scared driving big cars. She said in the worst way "Your appointment was at 9:00 am you came late and this is what we have" First of all that was absolutely rude. Took our reservation and then decided to say no they couldn't help us all I'm trying to do is bring my daughter home from college.. ABSOLUTE WORST rental experience and customer service experience I have ever had in my life!! Booked a car this morning and asked about the courtesy pick up they offer, told them where the pick up would be, before we made the reservation, was told they could do it and to call back an hour before our reservation. Call to be told they can't do it because it's too inconvenient. Needed the rental car to take a family member in for chemo tomorrow morning as our vehicle just went down. Was basically told by the female representative that it's not their problem. How are you going to tell a customer one thing and then change it a couple hours later. Thanks for adding more stress onto an already stressful situation. My husband and I have both used enterprise a good amount in the past but will no longer give them our money. Please retrain your associates on how to give better customer service. I was a retail manager for 18 years and would never treat a customer like that. My insurance claim included a rental car. The Manager at the Colma Branch asked if I could wait until Tuesday. I reluctantly said "yes." However, over the busy Christmas weekend, I needed the rental. The Enterprise advertisement says every customer matters. This is absolutely NOT True. My business counts equally as any of her other customers. The Manager said she would have the kind of car I requested waiting for me at 10 am on Tuesday Today, 10 am, I called the Branch, a young man said no full size car available and that the manager was busy. My reservation should have been honored all day. I finally was able to speak with the Manager. First she denied speaking with me on Friday and promising a full size car today at 10. This was a business call, the Manager kept saying, aaaaaah, yep and nope instead of yes and no. I asked her not to use this slang; that I was speaking to her in formal English. This was my worst situation that Enterprise Staff riped off when returning vehicle on 3/15/2024. I reserved pickup vehicle due to damaged repair and rental assigned to Enterprise. Reservation booked 3/6/2024, when arrived. No small vehicle was reserved. Big Van will substitute, if liked. I don't feel comfortable, luckily live not far away. Return next day 3/8/2024, did call to confirm vehicle was ready. Arrived 9 am, Staff said Small Vehicle will ready in ONE HOUR or Soon, because need pickup from other location. I had so choice, hang out next store. ONE HOUR later, called and confirmed, vehicle ready. Enterprise STAFF was so hurry asked sign contract without Showing DEFECTIVE ITEMS "scratch" most areas. As found out, windshield "scratch". Informed and Staff said, it was on contract, but forgot ADD Headline "Windshield". I trusted Staff and left back home. On 3/15/2024, when returning, Staff inspected, and demanding my Insurance Policy due to Windshield "scratch". I requested Enterprise Original Contract, Staff refused my request. Keep harassing " that's my fault". I requested talk to Manger or Supervisor. Staff ignored. Next day, received email from Enterprise "Damaged Claim". I did report to my insurance provider. These girls rock! I'm a Budget guy but since I dropped off my vehicle (Sandy) at the dealer for warranty and recall service. GM was picking up the tab so everything was covered. I got picked up by one of the ladies and was driven to their office, located next to Kohl's on Colma. Wow, that is some service. Their office is very plain inside with minimal decor but sometimes you ignore all that and it's all about the service. They are very accommodating and friendly, which made their office feel warmer. Even when I ran into problems, they happily assisted me with my troubles and even dropped me off at another location to take care of the matter. Once I came back, they had a Buick Enclave available for me since my Sandy is a Saturn Outlook. Yes, I was very satisfied since Sandy ended up being at the dealer for two days but I had a similar vehicle at my disposal. The rental van they gave me was not sanitized, evident by the fact that the entire van was covered in dirt and dog hair (time/geostamped pictures attached). The corporate website makes such a big deal of their Complete Clean Pledge due to COVID, but the car wasn't even vacuumed. I rented a vehicle from the same location three weeks ago and there was trash in the door compartments. I spent an hour vacuuming my most recent rental from Enterprise Colma today before returning it to avoid getting charged for their mistake. However, the main reason why I will never rent from Enterprise again was the terrible, disrespectful customer service. I went to return the vehicle today around 3:51 pm 11/23/2020 and was told a price of around $80 more than I originally signed for. I showed my credit card charge to prove this was way over the amount they originally quoted me (taking into account the $200 deposit). They said they were charging me an extra day because I dropped it off around 4 pm, but offered me $40 off for the dirty vehicle. I said that was unacceptable, because the blonde female employee on Saturday told me I had until 5 pm to return it after I specifically asked about the return policy, and she didn't mention the extra charges. The tall (approx. 6 foot 4) male employee who I'd describe as having tan skin and short, almost buzzed hair hair went over to talk to the blonde lady that originally helped me on Saturday about the price discrepancy with my return and why I was given a dirty car and then returned to tell me that even though the female employee said that, I essentially shouldn't have taken her word, and it's my fault for not reading the contract. He then reduced the discount he offered from giving me a dirty vehicle from $40 to $30!!! That was the biggest slap in my face, and it was completely petty to reduce his offer by $10. I told him that discount was lower than the original discount he offered moments before prior to speaking to the lady, and he was very rude and made a non-sense excuse. This felt like a tactic to get me to go away, and to take what was being offered before being reduced even further. I told him I was going to complain to corporate, and he made zero attempt to reconcile the issue. I have rented several vehicles from Enterprise before, and he made zero attempt to keep me as a customer. I left paying $50 more than I expected to pay, and felt completely disrespected and feel almost like I've been baited and switched. Never going with Enterprise again. My Dad always rents a car to this place because it's very convenient for him for we only live like 10 mins drive from our house. We've been renting cars here for more than 10 years or as long as I can remember though we never come to rent most of the time we needed a car sometimes their branch in SFO INTERNATIONAL Airport in South City. My dad prefers this place because my Mom can easily drive him to their rental office. Recently, my dad has to go to Arizona for a family emergency so I booked one the day before and their website took the reservations. By the time my dad was about to pick up the car, we received a call from Diana in the Colma branch saying, they don't have any available cars and it was a glitch on their website that our reservation went through. I called them back and was so disappointed, my dad said that it usually happens, and what they do is they usually get cars from other branches. This one, she insisted they don't have any. I was so desperate to get him a car so I called back and asked her how about the following day, would there'll be available? She sounded irritated and told me they don't have for the rest of the week. I never could even imagine what went wrong here, staff there was super nice but why am I getting this kind of customer service? So, I told my dad that there was a car available at their branch in San Bruno Ave., my dad went there and told them what happened and one of their agents said they have a lot of cars. I gotta give a big shout out to Bernadette for being a rock star when it comes to customer service! I had to rent out a car because I had my car at the shop for repairs. Now I had a minor fender bender and a scratch occur to my rental, and I was not looking forward to it when it came to turning it in. But Bernadette made the process lowkey chill and relaxed to the point where I felt bad of her having to write out reports because of my small little fender benders. She's such a conversationalist and made the transactional process feel like a much more personalized one! Terrible customer service from Brianna. Unwilling to help or offer any solutions to an issue caused indirectly by their company. I am currently renting an Enterprise vehicle due to my car being in an accident. I live and SF and was visiting family in Napa when my car damaged. Thus my rental car was picked up in Napa. I was just notified that my rental has a manufacturer recall and needs to be switched out... Pretty inconvenient. Called the Colma branch this morning to see about switching out my rental and was met with complete disregard. Was dismissively told I' have a Doge Ram if you want that you can take it otherwise call back tomorrow or call the branch you got the car from". I tried explained I'm not in a big rush and can wait a couple days for an SUV comparable to the one I am renting so I can fit my whole family. I was told again I can have the Doge Ram today call back tomorrow. Basically telling me since I didn't get the rental from "her" branch there wasn't anything she could do to help and was completely dismissive. Didn't bother to look up my Rental Agreement number or take any of my information to even cross reference my reservation in their system to try and help. Completely dismissive terrible attitude. All I was hoping for was to "Reserve" a SUV for later this week to switch out a vehicle due to their fleet issue. Pretty par for the course these days unfortunately.
