I want to thank you for basically ruining my trip by not having the vehicle I reserved two months ago. The call the day before my trip you call and drop the news that the car is not available. you can offer other vehicles but when you need an XL SUV a small Durango is not comparable. The best is when you say you'll call me back before the end of the day and I receive NOTHING. When I do call to get an update your guy hangs up on me. Terrible experience from start to finish. Only one car available when I went to pick up my rental. Other customers being dropped off were being turned away as there was nothing available. At this point I wished I had been one of those customers turned away. Now being charged for "damages" that were not there when the car was dropped off. The charges assessed to my account were charged without explanation or any type of warning/communication. When reached out to location the woman stated that I had been called twice. I have no such record of any calls. I have reached out to enterprises customer service line and gotten multiple different answers as to why I was charged. This is shady to say the least. If damage occurred it was to no fault of my own. Regardless, a simple call to let me know almost $500 would be removed from my account would have been nice. Enterprise will probably have fake explanation for their incompetencies doing on of the most simple jobs in the world. Car was returned exactly as I picked it up. A refund is required immediately. I rented due to my car being in the shop for repairs. Megan was polite, professional, and helpful. We have used this location in the past. The only negative thing was that we didn't get our discount. I was told that we would have to ask for it prior to renting. I'm not sure why a price adjustment could not have been made. How is an economy rental over $90 per day?? So it must be the busiest time of the year for enterprise. Yet, they ONLY HAVE ONE EMPLOYEE WORKING. (Tuesday august 6 at 4pm) I made a reservation online only to show up to the location to be told that its going to be "a while." Theres 5 people in the lobby and the only employee had to clean out a car for someone. This is ridiculous. Do bot go to this location. They are just downright terrible.. went to pick up a car here. Waited 20 minutes, had to slam on the windows to catch their attention because they locked their doors due to covid. The jerk woman comes out gets my license and tells me I need to move my car which was parked in a 50 space lot with only 1 car in it. I said really ? Your expecting to fill up the lot in the 10 minutes it takes for me to drive 2 miles to drop the rental off and come back to pick up my car. She said yes. Alright do I move my car across the empty parking lot. In front of the neighboring building which is vacant, so their lot was completely empty. I go to head inside and she again tells me to move my car. This time down the road to the dairy queen parking lot. Cranston zoning law requires rental companies to have enough parking for all their rental vehicles and patrons. Enterprise is operating against the law, with out a single parking space for customers and is operating out of a dairy queen lot down the road which is legally required to have the number of spaces that exist on their lot . I have reported this to the zoning official. This location will inconvenience you as much as they can to feel good about themselves while breaking the law. I have been renting car last 4 years and this is the location that I never had a problem. Xavier,Kyle and I am sorry that I forget the branch managers name they are always ready to please you. Right now I am on a brand new Santa Fe and I'm in love with my car and services with them. Do you need rental this is the place that you need to go. Skip the hassle with other locations and get there. Recently they moved from niantic ave to this location. I don't mind to drive another 5 miles to get here. I had a deplorable experience with this enterprise location. There lack of professionalism and accountability lead me to weeks of aggravation. I would recommend using any other rental agency. Do not use Enterprise. After making a reservation weeks in advance and then following up on the reservation the day before, they still did not show up with the requested vehicle. I booked a mid-sized car and they showed up 45 minutes late with an old pickup truck and said that they had no other cars in the state to rent. I asked to speak with a manager but they weren't available. I asked for the manager to call me when he could and still never got a call. I called up to the corporate level had no luck with them either. Save yourself the headache, do not use enterprise. read more

This location is by far the best and easiest around! The staff is always so willing to help, they have your best interest at heart and could quite possibly be the friendliest people I have ever met. I can't begin to express just how FANTASTIC Enterprise Rent-A-Car had been to me! Not so good.....friendly enough folks but: 1) The car was not ready 2) The interior was dirty 3) Car had been smoked in 4) Manager told me I had 1/8 of a tank (who doesn't fill it these days) but the light came on less than a mile from the dealership to fill up. There seems to be an epidemic of bad customer service from rental car companies trying to squeeze out the last drops of profit. This location has served me well a couple times in the past but it will take a lot to overcome my most recent experience. When I arrived, my reserved car was not waiting for me. I had requested a small car so as to save on fuel. I was offered a free upgrade to a boat on wheels, which granted, is nice for some people, but I said I wanted a smaller car. So I had to wait. Fine, I understand that. The car arrived and they took it through the car wash. Then I was about to get in the car but the gas tank was near empty. I asked if they could put in a half a tank so it would be easier to return it at the same level. I think this is a reasonable request, but the manager says he will only put in a quarter tank because "that's company policy." Well, what about airport locations giving a full tank? Oh, that's different. Same company, right? Fine, I try not to argue, and I guess whoever was putting in the gas "accidentally" put in close to half a tank then acted like they did me a huge favor. I commented to the manager that I didn't feel I was being treated well after waiting patiently for the car I reserved, and he said something dodgy, which again, is fine. But THEN he turned around and told me that "hey, we had a car waiting for you, but YOU wanted another car." Well, you're right, I guess you win the argument but you lost a customer. read more

I have to say that this is the most disappointing "service" experience I have ever encountered. We reserved 2 premium SUVs, 1 1/2 months in advance of a family trip. Via a telephone call we reconfirmed with the Enterprise in Cranston, RI that we would receive 2 premium SUVs with a minimum of 8 passengers. This call was made the day after our reservation and it was confirmed. We arrived on the day of pickup and they only had 2 standard SUVs both seven passengers. We are stuck. They told us that there is nothing they could do. They don't have any 8 passenger vehicles. They made a feeble attempt to help by calling other locations, but they accomplished nothing. They ruined our trip to Canada. The representatives explained to us that the problem was with "Enterprise, that's just how they are." This is how they treat their hard working paying customers. This location is awesome! We needed to have repairs done to our car so we called Enterprise at this location to get a pick up. They came right on time and followed us to the car repair shop. Our driver then continued on to the rental shop and was so pleasant and engaging which made the drive enjoyable. The rental went smoothly and we were in the car in no time. Once our car was repaired we returned the rental and were give a ride back to the car repair shop so we could pick up our own car.. What a positive experience. I will start by saying my rental was a good car and it was reasonably priced. The reason why I'm giving this a 1 star is because I came to return my rental at 5:30 pm. With no way of getting back home. Last I knew they provide pick up and drop off services. So when I arrived I asked if they still provide the service which the guy said yes but because they only had 2 plp. at the location the guy said he couldn't leave the lady by herself whom was standing next to him while we talked, I said ok I understand. I later learned she was managment on duty. He said they usually have 4-5 people on. I sat there to try and find a ride but couldn't. Mean while its raining and I only live about 5mins or less away. While I'm still sitting here waiting two more employee's came in it was close to about 5:40pm. Instead of kyrra the ass. Manager or the other guy I spoke to asking one of the two guy who came back to the location to drop me off they just allowed me to sit there as she had the guys go clean up some cars. The guys came back in and she sent them to clean another car. When one of them returned I called him over to ask who was the manager on duty and he let me know it was Karra. I said thank you! I wanted to know because I'm writing a review cause I'm not happy. I'm almost sure she heard me and I believe he walked over and said something to her. about a min. Later she said I'm sorry did you need a ride. I replied yes I do. I was told it was just you two but two more workers came in and I still wasn't offered a ride. She said oh that could of been done where do you live. I replied a few mins. away. She asked the first guy I talked to, to give me a ride and I could tell he wasn't happy about it on my way out she said thanks for hanging out which I didn't find funny. The guy started backing the car up soon as I got in when my door was still fully open. It was abouy 6:08pm and they was suppose to close at 6pm but they had a customer in the building. I assume that's why he wasn't happy. It took us 3mins. To get to my house with a traffic light. I thanked him and said good night and he said good night. I could barely close the door before he was pulling off. I'm not happy with the customer service part at all. I don't know if I will ever rent from there again. read more

Worst experience ever. Gave them multiple chances to salvage this relationship and they did nothing to make things right. I've had this rental (mini-van) for 30 days as my truck is being repaired as I got into an accident. I was given wrong information over the phone and then told the vehicle I wanted wasn't available when I stopped in to pick up the rental, and didn't have a choice but to take what was available since I was already at facility. They don't return calls as promised; this has happened a few times since I picked up the rental but the most recent (this past Friday) sent me over the edge as I supposedly spoke to the manager, who promised to call me back in 5 minutes but never did. I called the next morning as we needed a different vehicle for our trip to New York and was told they couldn't find notes from my conversation with the manager the previous day and that they didn't have the vehicle I had requested and offered me a mini-van which is the same rental I currently have (crazy that they don't read their own notes!). We had to cancel our trip with the kids and I can't wait to drop this rental once the dent on my car is fully repaired this week. Stay away if you are looking for a reliable and a customer centric place. My experience has not been great at all, and they clearly have a lot of work to do with the staff at this location. We've used enterprise many times before (other locations) without issue. This experience was a nightmare to say the least. read more

What The FUDGE!!!!! Im am extremely disappointed with my experience here. First off I ended up renting a car here through an insurace claim after my car was hit in May. Anywho..at first it was fine, i was getting a car free for a week while mine was being fixed. We went through the regular process, paperwork, security deposit, and whatnot. Then before taking the car it was checked for any damage. The manager saw none. My boyfriend pointed out that when closed one door was not flush with the rest of the car. The agents response was "thats fine were looking for damage the size of a baseball or larger" what the Hell?????? not thinking anything we took the car and returned it one week later. This time another agent checked the car for damage and came in whispering something to another who went outside examining what my boyfriend had pointed out. We explained what had happened and how we were told it was fine. He made it obvious that he did not believe us and told us that the "manager" who we had spoke with was on vk and she was not returning for a week. He said he would leave a note and not put in a claim to my insurance for damage until she returned.....how nice. I tried to explain that car had no dents or scratches and this was obviously nothing i did. My boyfriend questioned what they were trying to pull, maybe since nothing had come from my pocket they were trying to take advantage. He was told to leave. Well at least I got my deposit back and will be waiting to hear from the vacationing manager.....but not without calling corporate : ) read more

This place has the worst customer service. While trying to complete a transaction, the "management Trainee" was taking phone calls and walking away to drink his water mid conversation. So rude. And then when the transaction is finished and we are going to inspect the car, he then decides to tell us about all the additional charges. Why wouldn't you explain all of these before we agreed to a different price? Maybe he was too busy taking phone calls to focus on us but it was the worst experience. For crappy customer service and all the hidden fees you don't find out about until you're ready to go, you might as well go somewhere else. Waste of time. read more

I've had several good experiences here. I travel frequently between Chicago and my family's home in Cranston. This is a much better car rental experience than any option at the airport, totally worth the cab ride here. Rates are reasonable and staff have remembered me months later. read more

The customer service is great! Staff are very nice. The price for the special weekend is very cheap and I have often a great upgrade car.

Staff is nice enough, but I have never waited so long in my life for a rental car. I had to go this location three times as a result of my regular car being totaled. My insurance arranged for my rental and off I went. Each time I went, the wait grew longer and longer. The last time I went I was the only customer in the store and it still took nearly an hour to return a car. There was also a billing issue that popped up. The first car I had was $10/ per day over my allowed amount. I wanted this car, as I was buying one as a replacement to my totaled vehicle. I wanted to drive. Three days was enough and I called and specifically asked for a car that would be 100% covered by insurance. They provided a new car, that was $4 over, but was told it could be "finagled." Well, when I returned the car, the promise of finagling fell short. They attempted to charge the full amount. I reminded of the conversation and they offered to split the difference. I was okay with this just to get out of there, but pretty disappointed. People were nice, service was lacking. I've rented cars in Eastern Europe and was behind the wheel faster than this location. read more
