We got the opportunity to leave a day early for our trip booked through priceline. It was so difficult to try to add the extra day. We decided to just go to the office the morning we wanted to leave. The Branch manager was so knowledgeable,and helpful. As someone who works in the Hospitality Industry I wanted to make sure that she got recognition. Her kindness was much appreciated. I rented a vehicle well in advance of the date on which I needed it. They called the day before I was to pick it up saying that they would not have a vehicle to rent, & that I had no recourse - I was simply out of luck. Then they cancelled the reservation without giving the opportunity to change to another car if I needed to. Completely unimpressed with the lack of professionalism and service I received. I found another rental service in my town that was fantastic, very helpful, & didn't have the flippant "too bad, so sad" attitude of the representatives of Enterprise. My car got totalled earlier this week and it turned out I had rental insurance I didn't even know about. Farm Bureau sent me to Enterprise. I've had to return the car I got last evening because the practically brand new (13k miles) seat hurt my damaged back. The exchange was both pleasant and flawless. When I picked up the first car, a young man named Blake came outside and did the contract and all with me. I'd spoken with him earlier so he knew I was having a painful time. He told me where to park my truck and brought the Mazda to me so I didn't have to walk. Very considerate guy. Today I got an almost brand new (15k miles) Ford Escape. The only problem I've had with any part of this has been the car itself. It will take a few days to get used to it shutting itself off and turning itself back on at redlights! Oh, he (yesterday) and Cheyenne (today) both took the time and had the patience to show me how to work the things, by the way. Cruise control, stereo, etc. read more

At the end of December I inquired about renting a luxury vehicle from the Crossville Enterprise office. When I queried about the type they said " We sometimes get BMW's or Mercedes's, but probably for our location it will be a Cadillac". This was for a very special weekend for my wife and myself. I checked back three weeks ago to verify the "luxury" status of my reservation and was assured of the "luxury" status. At the beginning of the week Enterprise called me to verify my reservation and once again I asked about our "Cadillac or better" and was told not to worry. Upon arrival to pick up the vehicle I was told I would be driving a GMC Acadia for the weekend. By no ones standards is a GMC SUV a luxury car. I told the assistant manager this was unacceptable and she responded that she had tried to get a "luxury" car with no luck, there was nothing she could do and had a "business to run". I didn't request a BMW, Mercedes, or Cadillac, they promised me those cars...several times! I declined the GMC (I have the equivalent vehicle in my garage). I was treated poorly and will do my best to not patronize the Crossville Enterprise office again. My wife and I will still have this special weekend in spite of Enterprise employees. read more

Over the years, I have always used Enterprise. The last four occasions have been through the auto dealership where my car is serviced. As always, the Enterprise employee has been courteous and professional. Consistency is important. So, well dressed, courteous and professional stall along with clean, current year cars is the ticket.
