I really just want to take this review to acknowledge one of the employees there. I had 0 problems with the business, how it was run and the customer service but one employee stood out above the rest. I recently got hit and my insurance sent me here to get a rental. They took a while to do so so as soon as i received notification i went. Come to find out i was a little too early and needed to wait till the next day. Alisha was able to get me into another vehicle and then told me i could reach out to her personally to get it switched out the next morning. I watched as Alisha managed multiple customers simultaneously and gave them all over and above customer service. She took treated each customer as if they were the only one in the room and she was assigned to ensure a great experience. I was honestly shocked cause I've never seen anyone treat that many customers that well at the same time. Then come to find out, when i reached out the next morning she told me to head up to the dealership and what time and who to ask for to get my replacement car. I did so and then realized she wasn't even there! She was helping a me, a customer, and wasn't even at work. I'm amazed at her level of customer service and appreciate the patience and dedication it took to treat us all like we were the only ones that mattered. Not really sure what changed with Enterprise in this area. I guess with supply and demand they realize they do not need to provide customer service anymore. I cannot believe the how awful the service is at this location. I will never be using Enterprise again after the way I was treated. I should preface this by saying that Enterprise as a whole gets a whopping ZERO stars from me. I would never willing do business with them, but this is the company's preferred vendor. This Enterprise is one of the worst. Routinely, we show up to find out that our reserved SUV is not ready/even at the location. When proper arrangements are made, we are 2/3 times given vehicles that are nearly on empty. The staff seems nonexistent, as there often appears to be only one person there. This place is AWFUL. I will never use enterprise again. This location was By far the worse I went in this location at 2:00 PM. I had to pick up for a standard size car. I was told that they didn't have nothing but trucks available after riding around for three hours to look for a car I asked the agent to give me the truck for the price of the standard car for one day so that I can put my car in the shop. I was told that he could not do that after crying for a couple minutes he decided to give me the price at this point I was so disgusted, I couldn't take it because of the customer service so I just decided not to put my car in the shop and didn't get a car. I drove around 3 hours to different locations in order to be told that I have to pay more and pick up a car that I was no happy with so I canceled the reservation and walked out with nothing. Made AND received confirmation for a large suv. HOURS before my pick up they called to say they were not able to locate a vehicle for me? Really? Our road trip for 7 people was literally ruined until I called AVIS/Budget and they professionally and quickly understood my issue. Never again will I use Enterprise, let alone this location! This locations seems to think that if you make a reservation they are not obligated to hold it. Whoops, sorry, no cars is the response and they pretend that you are just supposed to accept that and not bother them anymore. Well, wish granted. Enterprise Cypress gets Zero Stars. I had a reservation on a Friday last month for the weekend at this Cypress, Texas location. I was told that I needed to furnish them with my car insurance card which i did not have. My visa credit card will cover collision and theft, like most major credit cards. It became clear to me they would not rent to me unless I paid for their insurance. My rental agreement states that the cdw insurance is optional. Scam comes to mind. Since they refused to rent to me I then left. Oh, by the way, they did not have the car class that I had reserved. They wanted to rent me a van. I think this is the reason they gave me a hard time. Even the manager got involved. This has never happened to me. I will never rent an Enterprise car again. I typically rent 20-30 cars a year. Hertz and Avis will have my business. They are located nearby. So, you DO have a choice. read more

I rent here monthly for business so I've really have developed a relationship with the guys that work here. Archie is wonderful. He took a stressful situation and made it all OK! My flight was delayed which kept me from picking up my car before closing and Archie doesn't live far from the office and met me there after hours just so I would have a car to go out of town the following day. I haven't even gotten my car yet, and I've had the worst customer service. I've called numerous times, and I'm either waiting for someone to answer, or immediately put on hold for sometimes 10 mins. The two times I got ahold if someone they a) didn't spell my name correctly so they had to re enter my profile, and b) he was an ass. I was on hold again for 10 mins today waiting to confirm my car tomorrow. So far they have yet to deserve a star. The worst part is the message they have on the phone is that they have the best customer service, and they're thanking us for that. The staff here helped me promptly! The facility seems new as it is very clean. Although I scheduled to rent an economy size, there were many options for cars on the lot. Making the reservation online is the easiest route for sure. I was in and out with no issues and will be back! read more

Staff is friendly(even though no one likes to answer the phone), but very unorganized. I needed a rental to be dropped off at a repair shop they brought it and the guy mentioned that it was going to be a $1 more charge because I was getting a luxury car (which was not asked for or talked to about) but because it's all they had at the moment. I'm under 25 so the guy mentioned that he wasn't supposed to rent the car out to me which was fine I was okay with getting another but he proceeded to do so. When I got inside the car it had no gas so I had to stop at the gas station and put gas in the car which put it at half a tank. I get home and get a call because they wanted me to RETURN the car because I was under 25 after I just had put gas in it, so I did such and decided to return it and when I arrived a car wasn't ready for me so when I did receive a new one the second also did NOT have gas, the mileage was blank meaning it was going to stop at any moment and was told "well you can stop at the bucees next door to put gas" I definitely asked for me $15 from the camero to be reimbursed but that has yet to be done so I spent $30 on both cars in one day because NEITHER had gas. Word of advice make sure you take a picture of the gas tank before you fill because they want you to return it with the same amount of gas you left with and both of mine were on E! read more

Van booked 4 months in advanced (In February). 2 days before trip, I called to verify we were good to go for the rental. The location we booked the vhicle online not only did not have the vehicle, but does not use vehicles larger than 7 people (we booked 15 passenger van). She transferred me to the 1-800 number and I spoke with a person who intially confirmed my booking as I saw online. I told him the issue was that location states they do not use vehicles that size, so he put me on hold for 5 minutes to look into it. He got back with me and said that was correct. I asked him where else in Houston (20 just on my side of Houston, not including other side) and not only was there no 12 or 15 passenger vehicles available in Houston, but none in TEXAS for my reservation, that was booked 4 months in advanced. I asked to be transferred to his manager or someone I could escalate the issue to. He kept saying he could handle, but finally transferred me departments. The next person apologized, and said he ensured he would have a manager contact me as soon as possible and push how urgent is was because I left in less than 48 hours. I never received a call back. I had to call around and finally found a company that had a vehicle in Houston in short time that would be available. As of now, 5 days after my pick up, and with my original return date scheduled for tomorrow, I never heard back. I will never use enterprise again. read more
