I decided to take a flight from NY to MI during Thanksgiving break (2025) and rented a car at this location. The vehicle I rented wasn't returned yet and wasn't many options left in the lot. Bobby and the team made sure I was taken care of. They did their best to accommodate me. Bobby even threw in a snow brush "just in case" Guess what? It snowed 2 days later! A lot! It's probably the worst branch is the whole Michigan. All the locations are bad in Michigan. However, this takes the cake.staff are very uncouth & uneducated with the exception of the African American girl who be showing people their cars. There's also a young Caucasian woman with very short hair who is good. However, the rest is pure trash. I'm in Detroit for work (never again) I rented a car for the month after some issues with the car they swapped it for something worst. A 20 year old Nissan Altima with bo brakes, that wobbles when being driven. If you're going to be in Michigan try Hertz or something else. Stay away from Enterprise especially that one. read more

Have a family member that works for them Out of state. He set up the reservation for me. He is an assistant manager at his location. Even with this being the case I took the time to contact them prior to arriving to ensure I would have no issues. I explained I would be using a debit card and was given confirmation that would be sufficient. While on the line I provided all the necessary information and the representative explained I didn't need a censor card nor did I need to have additional Documents they typically required. This was due to living within 50 miles of the pickup location. I then traveled to the store where all the issues began. First I was told the standard SUV that was reserves was unavailable and I would have to choose a smaller vehicle, which didn't result in a lower price. I didn't bother asking because I was late and didn't want to be delayed any further. My card was processed for $479 and I was told it was declined. At the same time my bank sent a fraud prevention text message asking for verification of the payment. I responded yes and the bank as always responds by saying I could have the previous payment run again. The representative said she couldn't run my card again due to a store policy and would have to wait 24 hours to charge the card. I asked how this could be the case, and what provisions are made for fraud declines. She told me to show her that the money was in my account which made me uncomfortable, however I agreed to do so. After showing her my balances she ran the card again and said there was a card read error and she a absolutely could not run it a third time. I left the store without a vehicle and returned to my hotel. Once I logged into my online banking app I see that not only did the original charge for 470 deduct from my account, the second charge did also. Now, I have no vehicle, I have $940 gone from my checking account and have to stay at a hotel an additional night at minimum. I decided to call Enterprise and was told there was nothing they could do and that I would need to wait for the funds to be returned to my bank which will be in 3-5 days. I don't know what to say except, I bet this happens much more often than one would think and that's unacceptable. Not only are my funds tied up, I was double charged, don't have a rental and requires to spend additional funds to pay for a room I otherwise wouldn't. Finally I am having to spend time canceling other reservations and accommodations for the trip I was to take today. What a joke. Never again Enterprise read more

I had the WORST experience with this enterprise. My car is in the shop getting fixed so I had a rental car in the mean time. Except I did not have just one rental I had four. The first one they gave me they sold the day after they gave it to me. The second one wreaked like smoke, was dirty and was on E, I believe they car was just returned and they gave it to me. The third one had the engine light come one. And the last vehicle they gave me was a Ford Fiesta...apparently, that is all they had available. I then asked for a switch out and they told me I reached my maximum switch outs....let me remind you NONE of the switch outs were my fault. Not only was this a hassle but the service was TERRIBLE. Every time I went in their they were very unprofessional and it always just seemed like they were trying to push me out the door. They never wanted to actually deal with me. I reserved a pickup truck at least six weeks before I needed it. When I got to Enterprise, there was one pickup truck and another customer waiting who apparently had also requested one. It's a good thing that customer held the door for me to go in first or I wouldn't have gotten the truck. I was driving to Texas from Detroit... the truck didn't have any windshield washer fluid. I had to buy that. After I filled the container with washer fluid, guess what? The driver's side didn't work! I was told the oil had been changed. I decided to check that. The oil was at 41%. And to top it off, the rear tire had a slow leak!!! I had to stop to get air FIVE different times!!! Did I mention I was driving to TEXAS AND BACK??!!! So NO, I would not recommend this Enterprise to anyone. If I don't get any compensation, I will not deal with this company again. I will make sure none of my people do either. This is the WORST experience I have ever had with Enterprise anywhere in the country. I travel weekly for work and use Enterprise all across the US and I have never experienced the level of unprofessional behavior and lack of communication. I arrived after my scheduled pickup time and They cancelled a reservation without communicating. When I showed up they said someone called, but I didn't get a voicemail, text message, or email. Today, I had a confirmed reservation and scheduled a pickup. After they didn't show up at the scheduled time, I called and was told "We only got large SUVs, not a full size, so you'll have to pay the difference or go to another location". No apology for the missed pickup, and unprofessional language" when I reiterated that I had a confirmation, the representative hung up on me. I am done with this location! read more

About two weeks ago, Boy and I decided a road trip to the East Coast (Maryland/DC) was in order. To think that my 10-year-old Lumina was going to make the journey was laughable, so we checked out prices at Enterprise. Mon - Thurs was $100, plus bringing it back with a full tank. Done! Service was very friendly (I flashed a smile & promised them I was a good driver with an impeccable record-- so they added me to the okay-to-drive list free of charge, wooot). Switched our rental to a Ford Focus about 10 minutes before actually getting into the car and it was no prob (they had us down for an Accent, but the Focus gets more miles to the gal so I learned). The model was a latest and greatest, we had a grand time attempting to sync our ipods/phones/USBs to the Sync (a note to Ford: that voice recognition needs some tweaking). Also, they have a fenced in lot if you leave your car there for a few days, so worry not! read more

I received a rental from Dearborn's enterprise and the car only lasted for two days!!!!!! I received the car without no windshield wiper fluid nor coolant which led to me being stranded since 5:30 pm at night until 8 pm in the cold and I'm eight months pregnant. The car wouldn't even start!! I made reservations twice for roadside service and a replacement rental to be delivered to me and it was cancelled.....twice without them notifying me of the cancellations. So I sat there for hours until I contacted them. Then they told me again that it was cancelled again due to their negligence, of them constantly putting in the wrong info.... Twice!!! Dropped a car an about an hour before they closed, they you g African girl looks at the car takes it inside and she spilled water in the trunk where the spare tire is and then the manager says we're charging you $300. I called another location manager on speaker and he tells him we gonna charge her $200 for detail cause of that water. They need to clean their dirty evil staff before they lose more customers. Reserved a car over the phone for a same day rental. I asked several clarifying questions of the representative to ensure we were on the same page, including if I would be able to use a debit card to rent the vehicle at this location. I was told yes with a $250 deposit, which was not a problem. The rep even took the driver's license info over the phone. I make my way to this location to pick up the rental to be told that I could not get the rental using my debit card due to my out of state license. I travel frequently for personal and business and have never had an issue renting a car until this experience. You have a lot of options when it comes to a car rental these days. If you're looking for people that actually care and treat you like a friend or a regular you need to come to this place. The minute I walked in I was treated with a smile, handshake and an offer for a water or coffee. I could have been coming in to sell something or ask for directions or to use the bathroom they had no idea and it didn't matter. When we went out to check the car which was a badass "murdered out" Dodge Journey I chatted with the rep and it felt like we were old friends instead of just a transaction. These people really care about the customer experience they also gave me a great deal and if I can offer you a tip it is to pay for the additional insurance. It's not just for crashes, some dips$&t opened their car door into mine and dinged the passenger door which I didn't notice until I returned the rental. For $7 a day it was not an issue. Come to this location and you won't regret it. I wish I could give my boys 10 stars! I'll never rent anywhere else. read more

They wanted me to pay for another vehicle that was more money. They offered me no other car that was available. They have horrible service.. I will never go back to that location again. Our company gives us the option to rent from anywhere and after trying most of the competitors I've found Enterprise to have the best rates and best service! For a neighborhood location they always seem to have a good selection of high quality, clean, stylish cars that normally have lots of bells and whistles. I am extremely big on service and these folks understand what it means to provide remarkable experiences to their customers. I had an issue a few months back and the branch manager Andrea resolved it quickly, and was sincere in ensuring I felt valued as a customer she certainly exceeded my expectations! The star at this location is Rob this guy always greets me by name when I come in and if he sees my reservation he always attempts to ensure one of my favorite cars is available when I arrive. I am always highly impressed watching Rob deal with customers he is always smiling, friendly, efficient and eager to be of service. Worst place to rent a car..... WORST EXPERIENCE!!!!! I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND. DIRTY CARS, HORRIBLE SERVICE... NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS... During Covid you would think they are taking precautions... the car was extremely dirty.. nothing was wiped. Also state it is not a smokers car when clearly it was... we booked for a fullsize SUV and they gave us a compact SUV. No discounts. If I could give a negative star I would've. I rented a car from them with scratches and damages I pointed out to the attendant that gave me it before driving it. She said she was aware of them. When I came back with it after a few days. They wouldn't give me my deposit back and made me file a claim with my insurance or I would've paid $500. They accused me of scratching it and having the bumper not aligned with the car's body. Absolutely ridiculous coming from a big rental company. Great Service, Made Me Feel Happy To Rent I had a really good experience with ERAC. This shouldn't have even a surprise being that I used to work for the company for about two years after college, from 1997 to 1999. The only thing seems to have changed is that that they have stepped up in the Technology world... and that is a very good thing. I was able to rent using my debit card and a small hold, get a better rental rate than any other rental company, and the car I drove was new... I was literally the first renter! I'm now going to rent exclusively with enterprise and won't even bother looking up the competition. it's really a waste of time to even consider them. Plus that, Enterprise picked me up! I had forgotten that they even do that and it was so convenient. I used to pick people up when I worked for the company but didn't realize how convenient that is until now...years later! read more

Nothing particularly exceptional about this location. Car worked, but could have been a little cleaner. I also didn't realize they only gave me half a tank of gas until I had already left, meaning I had to either pay extra for them to refill, or guess while filling it up myself and then hope I didn't fill past a half tank... I made a reservation about 3-4 weeks ago and got to the airport and was told I couldn't rent a car there due to the fact that I didn't have round-trip flight tickets after I asked about my reservation. I was also told that I couldn't use a debit card because they don't accept them..my only option was to have a credit card for payment. Anyway I called an Uber and explained my situation to the driver because I was totally FRUSTRATED! He said there's another Enterprise in Dearborn off of Ford Road. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I just needed a loaner car while my car was at the collision shop. They were one of the few locations open on a Saturday afternoon so I called and they said they had all kinds of cars just come on over. When I got there they said they only had luxury car, pickup or large SUV and my insurance company would not fully pay for it. I had gotten a ride from a friend and didn't want to have her drive me all around to shop around for another option. VERY DISAPPOINTING! They were unwilling to rent the car to me for the rate of a basic option and I had to work the next day. When I arrived I was helped by a guy that said that the three additional days would beA price that was more than the prior five days which included the holiday and weekend.I don't understand why, he wouldn't explain it to me. We had to extend our reservation due to the Delta Airlines computer crash, and they were very accommodating in allowing us to keep our rental car a few extra days.
