We have been using Enterprise in US and Canda for many years. What happened to the customer service. I rented many vehicles that have had issues like overnight flat tires, headlights out, given different vehicle than reserved and paid for but Dublin has always made it right. Last rental we were given the wrong vehicle, almost became stranded and called to swap out. They have some new hires that must be test cases. The worst nastiest young female I ever ran across in world travels would not let me finish describing my issue asking to look at what we rented and try to swap out. All we wanted was to talk to the guy that rented it. She immediately said I don't like your attitude and hung up. When we arrived to just get rid of their mistake car this Alyssa Vaughn greeted with a scarry look, nasty disrespectful attitude, attack mode and acted like she was entitled to some type of the new social nasty group we see on the news. Then Matt answered and said we don't take reservations at this office, you have to call the reservations office in another state. Which is not true. I rent directly from the branch all the time. It would have taken quite a bit to be much worse. My insurance company directed me to this company for a loaner while my car was being repaired after being hit by something in a parking lot. Problem 1 ... too little staff. With a reservation in hand and estimated arrival, a customer shouldn't have to wait over an hour. I did! The car had to return from service. No one to pick it up. Problem 2 ... All that waiting accomplished nothing. The seatbelt would NOT latch when applying breaks. Problem 3 ... All that waiting accomplishing nothing. I was told there were new wipers. Maybe so, but apparently installed by a Chimpanzee. Turned then on / blades flew off. Wanna bet Enter-the unknown will find something to overcharge me? I wouldn't take that bet if I were you. They apparently hold this type of customer in very low esteem ... who knows, maybe all customers. read more

A car was reserved online in my name prior to going to pick up the vehicle. Upon entering Enterprise, there were three people already in line waiting. I joined those people standing in line. I stood for 20 minutes. After that lengthily wait, Kayella directed the customer outside to select a car. Everything was tolerable until she is out there more than 10 minutes. My wife went outside to inform the employee that the phone was ringing and four people were waiting inside. When Kayelle returned, she asked me if I was with the women that informed her about the others waiting inside and I replied yes. Kayelle refused to rent me the car under my reservation and as an Enterprise member. I never spoke one word to her except to answer her one question. I will never rent a car from the Worthington Enterprise location. Went to Delaware Enterprise and got a car on the spot. Good customer service too. read more

I recently used Enterprise for a rental due to a car accident. They immediately called to coordinate my rental and moved my pickup to a more convenient location. Only negatives were that they didn't have the info that I needed an SUV and what SUV's they did have were limited (huge -Ford Flex & Tahoe) and exceeded my $50/day maximum. They were able to switch me out to a smaller SUV after only 3 days which was nice, but I still had to pay the price difference. They have flexible hours and are very efficient getting you in and out. Both SUV's that I had were very clean and smoke-free. Would definitely use them again. read more

If I could put zero I would. When I picked up my car there was a huge stain which looked and smelled of vomit in the back seat. As I was pressed for time they cleaned it and I left. They didn't offer a different car or any sort of upgrade until after Carmax reached out to them in regards to my complaint to them. Enterprise wanted for me to drive 25 miles out of my way to exchange a car that still smelled like vomit and didn't offer any other solution, other than to trade it in for a smaller vehicle. I will never be back to this location again. I would expect the cars to be in a much better shape and also expect them to be clean since they mention how clean they are during their inspections and that they are up to COVID standards. This place sucks. We confirmed our renal car for the arrival time of a private flight. We even scheduled it to be at the airport an hour early. When we arrive we were told there is no car! They will not send a car because my CC on file had a expired date. I told them It was the same number and gave them the new expiration. Nope! They tell me I have to go online and updated the payment method on my profile. I have no idea what my screen name or password is. I ask her can't I just give you the information? NO! Can you just take an imprint? No! She said my only option is to go online. Recover my account updated my CC information call them back wait on hold for 10 minutes again. Then she will run the card and only then send the car the 10 minute drive to the airport. I finally asked can you please send the car so it is here by the time I finish this process! No! Additional information. When Car arrived it had less the quarter tank of gas and no rental agreement. We called the location and was placed on hold. We decided to drive the 11 minutes to the location. As we pull in I can see two employees standing out back. I walk into the office with my phone still playing enterprise hold message. I was on hold for 15 minutes at this time. The two employees come inside and I explain to them that I want a contact, the woman replied I e mailed it to you. Well that won't help me if I get pulled over. Also I have 1/4 tank of gas and I want that in writing. Also I showed her my phone and said I have been on hold for 15+ minutes. She printed the contract and added the gas amount. So by this time I been 2 hours since I was supposed to have my rental delivered. A huge waste on my time. No I have to fuel the car as well! Go literally anywhere else! This place is a joke! read more

Had to get a rental while our car was at Noebull's (another good business) for an unspecified amount of time, and while hunting around online for quotes, Enterprise's $9.99/day weekend deal caught my eye. I had booked a compact, but when I got there the rep told me that it had come back damaged, so I got a free upgrade to a Jeep. Good start so far. I ended up having to extend the rental twice, and both times all it took was a phone call. The second call I asked them if they could rework the contract to see if a weekly vs. daily rate would be cheaper. The rep called me back a couple hours later with the updated total and I was good to go. Bottom line, I spoke with three different reps over the course of my rental, and all of them were competent, helpful, and just great customer service reps in general. read more

Terrible service after I had made a reservation- the attitude of the individual I first spoke with was completely unhelpful and indifferent. No effort was made to address my issue, and I ended up having to cancel my reservation. I called the individual's boss about this, explained what had happened with during the phone conversation with said individual- and he simply said thanks for the information and hung up. No concern shown whatsoever- and it was entirely unacceptable to be hung up on like that. If I as the customer do not prompt you that the call is finished, and you hang up anyway- then you failed to provide adequate customer service or even show basic respect. As of yet, I have encountered no one from this location (or Enterprise in general) who knows the correct way to speak to a customer. This experience has ensured that I will never use Enterprise for my rental needs unless there is no other option available. A rep from the call center where I tried to make a complaint ended up hanging up on me as well- simply because I said I didn't want to be treated like a certain four-letter word. (that does NOT constitute profanity towards another person, and the call center rep was apparently not intelligent enough to understand that) I am giving two stars instead of only one, since I did not experience the entire process of rental from Enterprise, (and therefore cannot rightfully comment on the full experience) though I have in the past at a different location out-of-state. read more

This was the first time I rented a car and I must say Enterprise has set the bar so high for its competitors. The $9.99/day weekend deal was really great and got an upgrade as well so couldn't have asked for more. Also the staff was really helpful and the car was in good condition. First off, I have to say it pains me to leave a 2-star review since they are usually such a great place to rent from. (Edit... I decided since I've rented from them 3 times and didn't have issues for the other 2 - except a gross stain on the seat during the first one, to upgrade the rating to a 3.) However, this morning...... completely different story. Through my company, I reserved a car last week for this morning. I arrived at the Enterprise location I usually rent from around 8:45am to pick up my car and be on the road by 9. There was one representative (Malik) helping another lady so I waited patiently in line. I finally got to the counter at 9am and he informed me they had run out of cars and that two of his coworkers had just left to pick up the car I would be driving. I panicked and asked how long it would take. He said maybe 15 minutes, so I said I would wait, but needed to be on the road no later than 9:15. He understood, called the coworkers to rush back, and said if they weren't back soon he'd be sure to get me on my way. Well, 9:15 rolled around and no car. Malik explained that many cars that were to be dropped off overnight were not returned so they were rushing this morning. I understood. 9:20 rolls around... still no car. 9:30... no car. Just after 9:30 my car finally arrives (I had scheduled it for 8:30 pick-up). I contact my boss since I was to be 2 hours away by 11 to let her know the situation. I get in and drive off (on half empty tank since they didn't have time to fill it up). Halfway up the road boss says my trip is canceled since I'll be late. I returned the car. Now... I must say... Malik is always very nice when I go into this location. All the staff is friendly and gets the job done. This morning was a fluke and I understand, but something needs to be done to correct the situation. It can't be fully corrected since we had to scramble to cover the training I was to do this morning, but it was a bit ridiculous to arrive to a car rental place and not have any cars when I reserved one last week. I want to be clear... I'm unhappy with the way things were handled and that there was no offer to upgrade for free to just get me on the road, but not unhappy with Malik. I shouldn't be sitting at home today just because Enterprise didn't have enough cars to get me to a destination I planned for last week. read more

I realize that a good experience is driven by specific local staff, and that the experience may not be replicated at other locations, but Enterprise's Dublin, Ohio location gets my vote as the best car rental location in the world. I really like Enterprise's phone menu options. When you dial the local number, you actually reach the national center, where you can select car reservations or other items, or opt to speak to staff at the location you have chosen. This is an extremely efficient way to route calls. The staff at Dublin is personable, knowledgeable, experienced, helpful, and extremely customer-friendly. I reserved a compact car, but I received a Toyota Prius "because it's available". I was thrilled. And I had to drive around in circles in the parking lot to try to return the car with the fuel tank empty. No hitches, no surprises, just quality, friendly service and exactly what I paid for -- or more. read more

Worst rental experience ever. My insurance company set up my rental vehicle through this company while my car was being worked on. I did not and would not have chosen them from compounding previous bad experiences renting through them and later buying a car through a different branch. In latest incident, everything was fine and no issues with renting until after I returned my rental. Four days after I left it at the body shop where Enterprise agreed to pick it up, they left me a vm claiming damage to the vehicle while also charging my credit card $500 at the same time, though no claim or appraisal of the damage yet existed. I called back thinking they had me confused possibly with some one else as there was no damage to the car when I left it for pick up. They insisted there is a dent and I am responsible, though I have no proof of this, nor did I know I was responsible for the car until they picked it up and called me (four days later!). Also, they just charged me $500 (my deductible) though there was no damage estimate or appraisal or claim yet. It is unfair and unprofessional the way they can just make claims and place charges on a credit card; I disputed the whole thing and just wanted a fair business experience while the manager only insisted that there is damage and I am responsible for it. The worst and poorest business transaction though was how they charged my card w/out speaking to me, or even having a damage claim # or repair estimate yet, etc. I felt very mistreated and preyed upon. And ripped off too. read more
