I rent cars about 25-30x a year. I've had every bad experience you could have at the rental counter. This particular location has been consistently awesome and easy to work with. Zero complaints from a guy that complains a lot. Every member of this staff is incredible. Knowledgeable, friendly & generally providing hospitality the rental car industry is notorious for lacking. I left my iPad in the rental car on the way out of town and tried constantly to get someone on the phone for two days. It finally took the intervention of the home office to get someone to pickup the phone. The girl who answered first said she was looking at the lost and found and that my iPad wasn't there. I set off the find-my-ipad alert from my phone and could hear it. Suddenly she was like oh here it is! I told her that I needed to arrange to ship it home and the response was we don't do that. I explained that I had spoken to the home office and yes they do it and it actually is a normal thing. Finally I arranged to have it shipped. Or so I thought. I called a few days later to check up on the situation and the manager hadn't a clue and couldn't find it but then located it stashed somewhere. He had it sent right away. Had me wait for about 30 minutes for nothing. 1st guy was very non communicative. I had a reservation from my warranty company and they had me wait, then 1st guy started helping a pretty girl so I went to 2nd guy & he said to come back after 4 cause they didn't have any cars available. So I could have just been waiting forever even though i had a reservation. The first guy could have just told me that to begin with. This has been our car rental place for years, although we don't rent very often, maybe once every other year. I think we might have a less-than-five-star experience like some other people have had if it weren't for Walton, who has been the guy to help us these past three times we've rented. (This year we're renting a lot more than before.) One time (to me at least) it looked like he was the only one working hard. My wife is also really happy with him, and that means even more to me. The memorial location s great. The Mazda we rented was great but 2 weeks in the battery was dead. Tyrone Elix was contacted and supplied a ford explorer which he personally delivered to our house. If I could give a negative star I would. My husband and a crew are working in OK this week. One of his employees was in an accident totaling one of our trucks and we desperately needed a truck to carry the rest of the crew. I was so relieved when I was able to reserve a pickup from Enterprise in Edmond. I reserved it online and received a confirmation number. My husband went to pick it up and was told that there was no reservation and no available vehicles. My husband showed them the reservation confirmation number but that did no good. I will never use or recommend Enterprise to anyone after this experience. This system requires that I give this business a star rating and won't post my review without a least one. I am giving it 1 star because that is evidently the lowest rating allowed. read more

Enterprise appears to spend a lot of time training their future leaders and this shows in the positive customer service way they treat customers. Unfortunately, they just don't execute at this location. Don't pickup the phone, don't have vehicles, understaffed, and when the vehicle is ready it didn't have gas. Additional focus needs to be placed not just on "manager training" and actually executing the business which is renting cars. read more

This was my go-to place to rent a car - not any more. They removed their after-hours key drop, so you can only return your key to this location during business hours. How stupid is that? Also, I called them 4 days after I returned my car because they did not refund my 300 dollar deposit. The girl on the phone was apologetic, and she said she didn't understand why it wasn't returned. But I know why. This place is staffed by a bunch of monkeys. Get your rental car anywhere else but here. read more

I called to rent a car they told me to be here at 3:30. I was and they said I should come back later cause they just sent the cars to get oil changed. I don't live near here so I had to wait, they told it'd be about 15 minutes. An hour and a half later I am still there and waiting outside. I've rented quite a few cars in my day and being the savvy consumer that I am, I rented online. As soon as I hit the submit button I received a call from enterprise that they didn't have the car I rented available but they had the next size up for $10 more. I felt I was a victim of the classic bait and switch scheme. Since I didn't feel like shopping around, I conceded. I got the car and it had a horrible smell. I could tell someone had smoked in it and they used some type of product to cover the smell. I had to drive about 400 miles round trip experiencing that odor. I wish I had just driven my own car instead. On the plus side, all the employees I dealt with were really nice and professional but I probably won't rent again from there. read more

We rented a car from them for one day. Drove from OKC to Tulsa and returned it at a Tulsa location. A week later we received a letter claiming damage to the vehicle. When we called to get an explanation of the damage, they claimed the vehicle received hail damage during the time we rented the car. This was in late August, there were no reported, damaging hail events in The entire state during the month of August. In fact, it didn't even rain during the 16hr period that we had their car. I'm sure they had hoped we would fill out the enclosed insurance information paperwork and move on. Too bad they tried scamming the wrong person. Needless to say, we will never do business with Enterprise again. I will be filing a complaint with the stare attorney generals office. read more

My car went to the repair shop and my insurance company sent me to Enterprise. I live in Guthrie, work in OKC, and was scheduled for chemo in Edmond this morning. I made arrangements to be picked up from my chemo appointment and taken to the Enterprise on Broadway in Edmond. On the previous Friday the 11th I was contacted by Enterprise via emailed and they asked what kind of car I wanted and what date, time, and location I would like the car. They even asked in the questionnaire if I needed the puck up and/or delivery service, which I did not since I wasn't sure how long I would be at the infusion center. I did fill out the online form saying I would be there after 1 in the afternoon. When I arrive at 1:06 my ride dropped me off assuming I was in capable hands. I gave them my name, and my EMAILED CONFIRMATION FROM ENTERPRISE WITH THE CONFIRMATION NUMBER. I was then VERY RUDELY told by a man named Al that I was to answer a phone call when Progressive called to set up the date and time. I did--via email and here is said confirmation. He then said "Sorry, but we have not received any notice from you and we won't have a car available until MAYBE AFTER 4." I then asked why I needed to confirm on the telephone what was confirmed via email? I started looking through my call log for a number from progressive, enterprise, local or 800. All my call log showed were calls from my mom, kids, husband, mechanic, and friend. Not one unnamed call. Al looked at me and said in a very curt tone, "yeah, that's why we call you. Is your number not 405-555-5555?" Yes. "Then you should have answered your phone. We needed to know what date and when you would be picking up the car. Since you didn't answer we only knew you would be picking it up today." Didn't I just say I had an EMAILED CONFIRMATION showing my date, time, location, DL info, and car insurance information? How does this EMAIL FROM ENTERPRISE WITH THE CONFIRMATION NUMBER WHICH INCLUDES DATE, TIME, AND LOCATION not count? "Sorry, ma'am. We hope we might have something by four. Can't you just come back in four hours?" I told him I would need a ride home to Guthrie and then someone would have to come back out and get me and bring me back. He then repeated again, "we tried to call, you needed to answer your phone," Then he said, "we don't have anyone to take you right now. We didn't know when to expect you so..." I then said, I need a place to sit for the next four hours I guess." Al said, "I guess you can have a seat and pointed to a 10 x10 carpet square in a blank room. No pictures, no television, no vending machines, no public restroom. I LOST IT! I said, I have had chemo this morning. I made arrangements and I received a confirmation. I can't believe with all these cars out front and along the side of this building, there isn't one I can take today." Suddenly the woman there said something about another Enterprise location. Al acted put out that he was being asked to call and reserve a car for me, because again, I didn't answer the confirmation call that doesn't exist in my cell phone. His rudeness and inability to offer service, which is the specific line of work he is in, was so egregious I will never again do business with them. I am filing a complaint with my insurance company as well. After the car from another location was secured, I then asked how I was supposed to get it and Al said they would try to find someone to take me. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! I called my ride from earlier and he had to come back and pick me up, putting a glitch in his plans and errands, to take me to an Enterprise off NW Expressway. Those two women in that office were so helpful! And they had ALL my information from my CONFIRMATION email!! Al at a enterprise off Broadway in Edmond, thanks for nothing. Do not do it. We rented a vehicle there and although they knew they would not have it when we arrived, they made no attempt to contact us. We arrived with our confirmation number in hand expecting to pick up an SUV to transport a family for a vacation and was told that it had never been available. Not only that, but because we arranged it online, through Expedia, they had had no way of contacting us (we have a land line that is listed and an unusual last name). Drove about 100 yards to Enterprise and not only did they have 3 full size cars to choose from, they matched Hertz's price without question. They were friendly, professional, and accommodating! I rented a car from a different Enterprise location when my truck was hit and had to go to the shop. When I got my truck back, I returned my rental to this location. I was accused of causing hail damage to the car. I had to prove that there wasn't a hail storm while I had the car. I thought it was an isolated incident. First do a Google search for Enterprise and Hail damage scam, and read the many reviews! Absolute worst car rental experience I've ever had by far! I travel 2 weeks out of every month, and use rental cars on every trip. This car rental was due to my car being in the shop from a wreck. Getting the car was no problem, but when I returned the car the first question they asked was if I had the vehicle during a certain date. I said yes. The girl then told me she had to go out and look at the car. She looked over the vehicle with such precision, it was unbelievable. I've never returned a car and had someone look it over that closely. She then told me that it had hail damage all over the vehicle. Then pointed out one tiny ding the size of a pen tip on the hood. She then asked me what my insurance deductible was. I said I don't know $1500 or maybe $500. She said that I would have to pay that deductible right then and there. I said which would I have to pay $1500 or $500? She said what ever the full amount of my deductible was. She was extremely rude the whole time. I told her to prove that amount of damage. So we went back to the back where the location manager was and the car wash boy was located. Looking at the vehicle they all started telling me how stupid I was for fighting this, and they claimed to find another dent, which I never could see. The car wash boy was a jerk saying "ha ha, you got him, find another one!" They never asked if it was in a hail storm, or if something had happened. They never looked up past records. The original girl I was dealing with said that she was going to charge me $500 dollars no matter what because she called my insurance and found out that was what my deductible was. When I asked what happens if the dents are not worth $500 dollars worth of damage her and the location manager went into this long story about how enterprise doesn't rent out hail damaged vehicles and this vehicle would be out for 8 weeks. They also told me that it would be weeks before their "damage recovery" unit could look at it and decide how much it would cost to remove the dent. (which means an in house person, and they would never give me my money back.) I happen to know someone that works for Enterprise. Telling me that Enterprise is taking in hundreds of vehicles that claim to be hail damaged but not visible. This is a scam, and shows the true colors of the company. They take every bit of your deductible, turn in a claim on your insurance, and make a claim for how ever much the insurance company will pay. If my deductible was $1500 dollars they would have taken that amount. I called back a few days later asking if they had gotten someone to assess the damage, and the girl I spoke with told me that they usually don't charge you for damages until they are able to have the damaged assessed. I asked if they would refund the $500, and she said that it could probably be done, but the manager would have to call me and approve it. The manager never got in contact with me. At this point I'm putting a stop payment on that $500. Bad business practice and I will NEVER EVER USE ENTERPRISE AGAIN! Eventually they credited my card for $150 of the charged amount. A month or so later I got a check from the claims department for around $150 more. I questioned the check through the area manager, and verified that it was legit and that I needed to deposit the check. Shortly there after I was sent some pictures that had no evidence of hail damage. Now, over a year later their claims department calls me and says that they should not have cut the check to me and that I needed to return $150 dollars to them. I informed the lady on the phone that I was under the impression that this was finished and that it had been dealt with. I told her the story and how I was treated, and that the manager told me the refund check was correct. It didn't matter they still are giving me the run around and are still trying to take money away from me a year later!! read more

I occasionally rent a car for work and pleasure. I always rent from Enterprise and have rented from the Edmond location multiple times and have always had a great experience. However, this time was the exception. The lady that helped me was pleasant and very nice so that was not the problem. I immediately noticed when I walked up to the vehicle that it was extremely dirty on the outside and that was probably a good things because when you got up close it looked like it had been driven through a briar patch with surface scratches all over it. That wasn't a big deal since I was in a hurry and it was going to rain anyway. When I opened the door to get in I noticed grass all in the drivers side floor. I said something to the girl and she acknowledged it and asked if I would like to have it cleaned out. I told her I had to be at a meeting 300 miles away by noon and didn't have time. However, once I got on the road I noticed stuffed down the side of the seat were dirty Kleenex and I found a few other surprises later on in the day. They definitely have an issue with there detail department. I will definitely go back to Enterprise because of all the other times I've had great service and got an outstanding vehicle for a great price. I'm hoping this was just an exception and maybe its due to them moving to a new location and they have worked out all of the kinks yet. read more
