Vegas Bound or Not!! Time for that road trip to Vegas! Got my reservation all set, ready for check in. We got here for 7:30 a.m. pick up and the rental is not ready. Sometimes life happens and right now we are caught up in that moment where we have no control. As we sit here the lobby fills up with customers needing to go vroom vroom in their rental car. Our car was supposed to be ready, but it's not. What do you do when you cannot control the situation? In today's day we wait. What else is their to do? We wait and we're supposed to be on the road right now. Are we no? Playing the waiting game is fine, but when you check in right in at 7:30, first customer and have to wait over an hour for a car they are supposedly cleaning it's tedious. Time continues to tick away and I'm sure that they are cleaning my rental. Why was it not cleaned last night? Patience is a virtue! The staff here move with purpose and are super nice. They seem non attentive to issues and time constraints that individuals have and must keep. I just sit here waiting, feeling ignored. As customer after customer are placed in their cars, remember that patience is a righteous virtue. When I have inquired with the status of the cleaning it's the same line every time. They are working on it. Yes, all of our time limits were pressed back and had to be ignored this morning due to the lateness of this rental. In the future the company needs to make sure that when customers make a reservation a few weeks in advance they do it for reasons to keep appointments ON TIME! I have been renting with Enterprise for as long as I can remember! This is the first issue that I have run across that was not attended too properly. I live in California and was in Surprise Arizona visiting my Mom before celebrating her 93rd birthday. She still has her Honda and I was assured by other family members the A/C was serviced as we had requested it be done in March knowing the heat was coming in June. Well when I took out the car to take my Mom to a doctor appointment, it was 115 outside and no A/C in the car, just blowing hot air. It was probably 100 degrees in the car! We decided to rent a car for the next day knowing we just couldn't drive her's again with no A/C. Called the reservations phone number for Enterprise on 6/03 and told them I wanted to rent a car at the El Mirage AZ location. Also told them we would need to be picked up from my Mom's home on 6/04 at noon to be then taken to Enterprise to get the car. The reservation agent confirmed all with me and received an email and text as well confirming. We were waiting at the door at noon on 6/04, but no one came. I called the reservations phone number four times between noon and 12:30pm, each time being told "they were running late, but would be there". Finally on that fourth call, I was transferred to the El Mirage location and Brianna Phillips picked up the phone. Explained to her what had happened and she told me she had us down to rent a car BUT that we were coming in to get it, NOT being picked up!! By now I was hysterical and screaming, thinking what to do as we could not drive my Mom's car again with no A/C that day and she had another appointment. Brianna remained calm and was trying her best to reassure me we could get the car that day. She also explained to me that at the time I reserved the car, the reservation agent was required to transfer me to the location to confirm but they never did. She was very understanding and just kept apologizing for being told we would be picked up. She had my phone number and said to call or text her on her personal cell as soon as we were done with my Mom's appointment and she would come pick us up. Was able to have a friend drive us to the appointment and texted Brianna when we were done. She immediately texted me back saying "I'm on my way!". She was literally an angel, so very sweet and accommodating. She arrived in 10 minutes and drove us to her location where we were given an upgrade and a full tank of gas in the car but was told the contract stated it had half tank so we wouldn't have to fill up before returning the car the next day. The car drove wonderful and so enjoyed the A/C blowing on us while it was still 115 degrees outside. Brianna continued to text me several times after we drove off, wanting to make sure all was good and if we needed anything further. My husband followed me back to the location the next day to return the car and Brianna ran out to see me!! Introduced her to my husband telling him this was the wonderful woman who saved us, who literally fell from the heavens to make all good. There are just not enough words to express our gratitude and thankfulness to Brianna and how she quickly sprang into action to turn around a horrible experience into a so much more pleasant one. The experience with Enterprise at this location was above and beyond. Our car had to be towed into the GMC dealership due to a gas leak. No other car so of course I went on line, did a search for a Enterprise location and although we had two options, this location had much better over all reviews. Had a family member take me down to the office to get a car and was greeted by Melanie the asst. manager. She was kind, helpful and listened to my needs. She got me set up with a car and off I went to pick up husband from the dealership where our car would be fixed. The car that I was given proved to be a challenge for my husband who has stage 4 cancer throughout his body and the first car was to small for him to get in and out. I contacted the office to see if any other sizes were available but alas none were (this all happened Dec 23rd you know Christmas holiday) but they indicated they should have some back and had me check back on a specific time and date. Although not many had been returned, Melanie once again stepped up and provided us with a mini van that was much more accessible for my husband in getting in and out of which was a life saver. I had rented for a week, but had to extend an extra day and once again the crew was most kind in doing so. Returned the car today, check out was as quick as the check in was and although we were "outside" of the boundaries for a shuttle to take us to the dealership, Melanie once again stepped up and had a coworker , Alex, take us so no uber needed to be called. I would highly recommend this team at this location with a huge shout out to Melanie and Alex. Professional, kind, and friendly were both of these young ladies. A shuttle was sent to pick me up from the auto body shop, a friendly representative greeted me when I arrived and had already spoken to my insurance company and had a car ready to go. I was in and out in 10 minutes. The rental car worked great with no issues while I had it. When I picked up my car at the shop, I left my rental there and Enterprise picked it up and called me the next day to complete all paperwork and close out my agreement. This location has awesome people behind the desk, very friendly and attentive. My beef is with corporate. Degrees don't make you smart!! The car I rented blew a tire 6 miles from the El Mirage store. I called the road service provided by Enterprise. My only option was an uber driver to take me back to Enterprise. You corporate people are as mind blown as that tire. I do not call Taxi's nor any other taxi service for a reason!!! I would not want my wife or daughter in a vehicle with someone unknown. So I manned up and changed the tire and put on the donut!!! You have shuttle drivers, really? Then one cannot phone an individual rental store, it is a main number in which it hung up on me 4 times without speaking to a single person. I will never rent from enterprise, ever!!!! The only reason I did is it is being paid for. You have friendly agents and maybe corporate should follow their example!! Not to mention when you do finally speak with someone, they have a heavy accent. I'm not putting them down, again, corporate decisions in suits have no clue about being human. I have to be honest, based on some of my past experiences with the Enterprise brand but this has to be my best experience with any Enterprise by far! Jonah check me in and that was really smooth. Alex checked me out and I have to say it was how he and his partner handled things on the weekend that was the most impressive! I walked in with six people ahead of me and by the time I made it to the counter there was another four behind me. Alex and his partner were knocking 'em out! They made sure to greet every customer and further made sure to let us all know that they were sorry for the wait and that they would get to us soon. Even got to the point where poor Alex was sweating he was moving so fast. And the gentleman, Jerry, who dropped me to pick up my car was friendly and appropriately chatty. It was a nice experience. Gave a call for customer service assistance. I needed a ride from my home, which is not far from this location. I spoke to couple representatives that were nice and offered a pick up ride. However, when I called back to schedule a ride I got the miss fortune of getting connected with a gentleman name Rudy! He was very rude and not nice at all! He declined to provide the ride after I was informed by more than 2 other individual, this was something that was possible. Terrible wait times. Reservation made to pick me up(1/2 hour late). I arrive and was told another 45 minute wait time. Why do you request reservations when your office can not commit to any times. If you can't handle the volume then change your practices. Here I am over an hour later still waiting. I'm sure if it was the other way around I would have incurred extra charges for returning the vehicle late. Agent also admitted that it's always this busy on Mondays. Everything went great with our experience this past week. We had to change our original pick up time to 4 hours earlier with a late notice. A van was not and wouldn't be available when we needed it. They called around trying to get one for us and offered an alternative. When we got there the next morning, a van just happened to be available. Richard outdid himself to get us what we needed. Upon returning the vehicle, I didn't realize a cup holder from our car booster seat had fallen off until I got home. I called and a young lady searched the vehicle and found it in the 3rd seat. By far the worst place to rent a car from. They are very slow with every process. We noticed a chip in the windshield the next morning, called to report it and they said they documented it but didn't. Now we are stuck paying for the windshield. The vehicle also had a slow leak in the tire that wasn't noticeable until the day after and then had to spend 4 hrs waiting on a repair shop to replace the tire. No compensation or anything for the time spent with the tire. Do yourself a favor and don't rent from here. Ran by idiots. read more

The employees here are phenomenal!! I needed a car for long term while mine is being fixed. We requested an SUV and they gave us a beauty! Unfortunately it wouldn't fit in our garage along with my husbands car so I returned it. The next one was clean, decent but not as nice as the first one. So I went back on a Saturday (probably their busiest day) and they let me change AGAIN it's perfect. Each and every time, they were so professional and so POLITE! Even when the phones were ringing off the hook, they were extremely polite! They're short handed, who isn't, and yet they never showed any impatience with me given I was on my third car. My insurance had booked my rental at the wrong location but Rochelle was right on top of things and got me a rental right away witH no delay. She was very thorough with explaining everything and as sweet as she was helpful, thank you Rochelle for your genuine kindness....! Unfortunately my experience did not end as well as it started. I received a call from Xavier the day after my rental had been turned in. He impolitely told me I was being charged for another day for not returning my rental as scheduled. I tried to explain to him that Chaneys Auto Body shop called them to pick up the rental car while I was there picking up my car the day prior. All he wanted to tell me was how much the delay wAs going to be. I called Chaneys and they confirmed Enterprise picked it up the day prior. I called Enterprise bAck and Jason was very nice and ssid it was their mistake and I would be refunded my money and receive an email witH the statement showing the charges in just a few minutes. Worst experience i've had with a rental car establishment in my life. I was told when I first got my rental car I was told that I would receive my $100 deposit back from the associate Rudy. I did not receive my deposit back when I returned my car because it went towards the liability insurance which was never disclosed to me at the time I picked up my rental vehicle. Then I had a remaining balance of about $130 and I had received a voicemail saying "they were just gonna run my card." I didn't authorize this charge nor did they wait for me to call back until they ran my card. How can they run a customers card without permission?! Absolutely terrible. So frustrating. Made reservations arrived in town next day repeatedly called for pick up, ya know like they advertise. Been doing this for years. Transferred to next available representative. Rang 5 to six times. Line went dead. This went on for 30 minutes. Out of frustration, took Lyft to my destination. CANCELLED RESERVATION. I got settled in at VRBO and next day, I thought to try again with same Elmirage Az. Office. Same results tried 4 times over 1 hour period. RESERVATIONS CANCELLED AGAIN. Later in the week 1 more try, same result. Got online Chat with representative from Enterprise and assured me someone from office would be in contact with me and they would come and pick me up. 6 hours later no call. I can only convey my experiences on 2 separate occasions and both horrible experiences that altered mine and others plans due to the incompetence of management. I blame them as they should be ultimately responsible for the profitability of the location. In both situations vans were reserved months in advance and come day of the pick up no vehicle. (I called and spoke with the office yesterday in which they confirmed my reservation). After today's problem, I called corporate and formally complained. That was hours ago and and reply from the District Manager. Colleagues and I were to be in LA tonight for a business meeting. Called the store and confirmed the reservation two days ahead of time and wouldn't you know it, were walking out to inspect the car and it's - yep, you guessed it - NOT a convertible. What a disappointment. They said they had a "damaged" one that was being turned in today 12 miles away if I wanted to wait for that one - really?!?! It's 8:30 in the morning and I'm trying to get outta town - not waiting on a "damaged" car to be dropped off at some time!
