This location is unreliable. On two separate occasions, I reserved a vehicle at least two weeks in advance. The first time I let it go, assuming it was a one off. Unfortunately, it happened again. On the morning I was supposed to pick up my vehicle for a road trip, I received a call saying the vehicle's window was broken and there was no replacement available. While they tried contacting other locations, nothing was found. I was left one day before my vacation with no vehicle because there are no backup options. The manager's response made it worse no apology, just "I called you this morning," and essentially telling me to figure it out myself, with no guarantee they could help. I strongly recommend having a backup reservation at another location if you book here. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Was totally discriminated against by Edgar Guevara the branch manager. He was obviously having a bad day prior to my husband and I walking in and took it out on us customers. Called in prior to coming into to location to see what cars were available and I was offered a car that was below my reservation. When said I can't take that car because I have two small children in car seats, he began to become or agitated and refused to accommodate us. I asked to speak to a supervisor and he refused to give information and told us to take it up with corporate etc etc. More to the story but here's the short version. No way a branch manger should speak to a customer in an unprofessional manner. No reason to not call a supervisor when requested by a customer not give information to contact his supervisor. Branch managers should never treat or talk to a customer as if we don't matter because he low on cars. We felt disrespected and discriminated against! Avoid this location if you can! read more

Called them day of to tell them I'll be coming in a bit later to pickup my car and they said great! Show up. No car. Now my whole family's Christmas plans are ruined based on the negligence of these account managers and store. Total shame. Didn't offer a discount or anyway to make it better. I had to go to another enterprise location to get a vehicle! This is insane!!!!' I had a reservation from my auto insurance to pick up a car and was told I'd be ready to go. Unfortunately I get here and there are no cars and now my car is in the shop! This is absolutely ridiculous and frustrating!!! Plus they can't even accommodate the type of car I have and the type of car the insurance is willing to pay for. It's so frustrating. Dude who helped me looked a little slow to begin with. dude said we did a walk around when we looked only at the bed of the trunk and checked the fuel. Brought back a truck and told me there were damages "bigger than a golf ball" and said he needed to file a claim. only had the truck for a day with no proof of the damages. Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had at Enterprise ever. I spent over 2 hours in their office with anyone barley acknowledging my presence and finally after 2 hours and finally receiving a car, I was told my credit card was declined, I asked them to re-run the card and was told they couldn't re-run the same card within a 24hour time frame I couldn't believe what I was hearing and at this point I was over it. Cancelled everything and left. I will definitely be contacting corporate. I had a very pleasant experience with this location. My car was in the shop and the shop partnered with this location to provide the rental car. The manager (Will) picked me up from the body shop and took me back to Enterprise then Renee helped get everything in place. Renee was flexible with giving me a rental I felt comfortable driving. They were both kind, professional, and efficient. When returning the vehicle I was assisted by another young man and woman who were both equally as efficient, kind. and professional as the team members who helped me when I got there the first time. I wish I knew their names to give them a shout out as well, but I really appreciate them. Would highly recommend this location to anyone in the area needing a rental! I spent 2 hours at this location with barely any assistance from the employees and after over 2 hours of sitting in their office, I was told that my credit card couldn't be ran a second time as it was declined initially...and they couldn't run the same card within a 24 hour time period. We waited an extremely long time to get our car - about 40 minutes of sitting and waiting inside waiting for the car. When they brought it to us, they gave us the car with only half a tank of gas which I had never experienced before and is pretty lame. That said, you can save a TON of money in taxes renting here instead of at the airport so it's worth the $13 uber to come here instead. And the guy was nice and apologetic. read more

I truly wish I could give NO Stars!! This is for Enterprise LAX. Joanna is the worst and truly a loss to this company. I am an Enterprise Business Member who rents bi-weekly and can luckily say I have NEVER had such a horrible encounter prior to this one with Joanna. When we arrived there was about 8-10 other people who also arrived and were told "We are oversold 430 cars"....... The lot was FULL and it's 10pm at night but you are oversold 430 cars?? Sounds odd. Then she proceeds to tell everyone since we ALL had reservations that "We don't guarantee same day reservations"....... I called the call center who told me she can't deny anyone a rental who has a reservation. I told her what the call center said and her response was "The Call Center is Staffed with Idiots and they don't know what they are talking about". Joanna tells all of us that we should go down to SIXT car rentals and once we do we won't rent from Enterprise again. It was pretty odd! It's like she was intentionally trying to make them lose business. I have never had such an experience and I must say this employee who said she is the Manager is going to do a lot of damage sending customers away. Luckily SIXT helped us all with rentals. The online deal was great. Cheap. Safe. Honda Accent, $211 total + security deposit $200 No shuttle to the from the airport, took a Lyft for $8.50 one-way. Checked in without a problem. Car wasn't ready right away but I waited 20 mins. The girl @ the counter Isis was really kind and personable. We started talking about my tattoos. Deducted a couple stars 1. Strip mall location, easy to miss 2. No shuttle to/from airport 3. Car tag was taped on kind of ghetto. Could fly off or be stolen easy. 4. The car was easy to drive but not clean. Try to rent from Enterprise these days. This go around LAX Enterprise locations were sold out. Tried 310 E Grand El Segundo location. Several things 1) they can't pick you up in the LAX circle. You would need to shuttle outside of the airport. They can then pick you up wherever you tell them to. 2) you'd have to load/unload/load your luggage because of the pick up stiuation but here's what I learned: a) rental prices less than what you pay for at the LAX location b) their shuttle service is prompt; they were waiting for me by the time I got to my pick up point c) friendly courteous staff and management who aim to please. My story: car size I reserved was not available. They offered to take me to an Enterprise close by but time was not on my side. They then offered to give me a discount to the vehicle size available. THEN, upon my return, the manager (Eric B) asked "what would make you happy to return to our sight?..." I said I was okay with the service and talked about the shuttle business... he then discounted my bill further, then gave me a card for a free upgrade with the hope I would return to the El Segundo (E Grand) location. The courtesy by staff and management and their thought for future business worked because I will go to their location on my next need for a rent a car in the LAX area. read more

This is a great and convenient place to rent a car. My car was at El Segundo Auto Body for repair work, caused by a hit-and-run at my place of work. Enterprise was just down the street and came and picked me up. I was able to get a BMW for less than $50 per day, which my insurance paid for. read more

THIS has to be the WORST Enterprise, EVER!! Not only did we have a reservation made prior to traveling to California, but once we arrived, they didn't have the car for us!! We booked the car ahead of time because traveling in the Summer is always difficult. The staff was very rude about not having the vehicle and accused me of having a family member book our reservation!! I booked it over the phone with Enterprise, direct! The woman behind the counter had the audacity to say "Why would you book it so early, anyway?" There's NO WAY to know for sure when you book the reservation what you will get." WHAT?!!!!! Then what's the point of having a reservation? They didn't want to pick us up from the Airport, either and claimed "they can't do that". So, we paid $25.00 for a cab to drive us 2 minutes away due to high airport cab fees. We did NOT get the car we specifically requested, which was a high end car; they did give us a Camaro that was low on gas, very dirty and the windshield wiper fluid didn't work! The issue is we booked and prepaid for a car twice that caliber. ********* I might be empathetic on the fact that they didn't have the car we requested available, however; I called 3 days prior to traveling and was assured the car was available & awaiting our arrival. When I explained that to the rude European woman behind the counter, she said she had spoken to me the day I called but didn't have a way to call me back... ? Except they continued with our reservationbafter our arrival and repeat my Husband's phone number, to him! THEY HAD THE NUMBER ALL ALONG AND NEVER CALLED TO EXPLAIN THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE CAR!! *********** This is unacceptable! I will be leaving reviews on EVERY website I can find regarding this horrible Enterprise experience! This is 2014, if you book a reservation and you give a credit card to secure your reservation, there should be no reason to have the car available. This location is lying about the rentals and the absolute worst place, ever! Horrible customer service, lack of experience and complete disregard to customer's overall satisfaction. This enterprise left a bad taste in my mouth. I would rather rent with Hertz rent a car. Will never rent with enterprise unless there is no other option. Went to the branch they have inside of Jim&Jacks auto body repair. The woman who was on duty rented us a car that smelled like cigarette smoke. When she came back with the car she didn't even inform us that it smelt bad until I came back inside and told her the car smells. She than stated she noticed that when she picked the car up. Like why would you give someone a car that smelled awful even if it was the last car. Fix the problem before giving a customer a car. Than She said she was gonna put us on a list to get another car and when one is available she'd give us a call. End of story we had to end up calling them later in the day to get another car because she didn't stick to her word. The car they switched us with was too too big to fit in our parking stall so we had to call back again the next day and tell them if they could please give us a smaller car. They said they didn't have anything and go to the LAX location to swap cars. We went to LAX and they said they don't have cars. They stated that they could only give us a pick up truck. This is one big company I shouldn't have to go back and fourth. At this point we were so upset we called back and spoke to Brittney. She finally made things a little better. She kept a look out for cars that were becoming available that fit our needs. She called back and said she has a car and she would drop it off to us at home and she did. She was the only positive experience with enterprise. On another note when we had to return the 1st car that smelled bad we accidentally left our garage opener in the car. Right when we left we noticed and called back ASAP. We spoke with Daniel and he stated that he found the opener and will hold it for us until the following day since they were closing in 30min. Daniel stated that he would write my boyfriends name on it and put it on the desk. So the following day my boyfriend goes to enterprise to pick up our opener. He arrives there 1hour past opening. Guess what yall, the garage opener had feet and walked off. I truly understand that it wasn't their fault and they aren't responsible for items left behind but damn it wasn't even 24hours and it got lost after the fact Daniel stated he'd hold it for us. Travelers beware, this location will not allow you to use your debit card upon check in to retrieve your vehicle. They were not willing to make an exception considering my fiancé and I do not travel with our credit cards. After taking an Uber to this location from the airport, they told us to go back to the enterprise at the airport where we could use a debit card. Stay away!! First car they gave me, the brakes gave out on the first day and I almost got into an accident. The second car they gave me stunk like smoke. The staff is very impatient and rude to customers. I had an agreement to buy insurance with them for 1 day and they charged me for 14 days and refused to reimburse the difference. When I emailed them, they say someone will be reaching out to me. No one ever reaches out and when I send another email, they send the same lip service email and it's been almost a month now. On pick up I waited over 2 HOURS for a car I had reserved days ahead of time. When I returned the car, I offhandedly mentioned that I had recieved a parking ticket for an expired meter. To my surprise the girl behind the counter told me to give her the citation and she would take care of it. I was elated!... until today a couple month later when I receive a notice from enterprise that not only did they fail to pay the citation as offered but they wanted to charge me a fee on top of it! Long story short, after some calls I was able to get the fee waived but no one anywhere had record of my citation being taken and apparently that is not something the company can handle in the first place... so why was their representative insisting that they could? The staff was nice enough but a 2 hour wait on its own is grounds for concern and apparently they don't even know their own policies. read more

Hi I have had an horrible experience with this company and particular location. Approximately, two weeks ago I took my car into a body shop in El Segundo, California. Once I arrived at the location , the receptionist at the body shop said, she took care of the rental and that rental should be arriving shortly. The guy arrived and I asked him where is your office located for the rental. He said, no worries your car will be arriving soon. He than asked, for my credit card and drivers license.. We we were standing outside of the body shop and was inputting my information in this tablet. The guy explained that there would 100.00 on credit card. Once the car is return Enterprise will return amount to card once car is returned . Approximately, a few hours passed and I saw an additional charge for 259.00 appeared on my credit card online statement . The company was located in Calabasas. Now let's be clear I usually pay cash for everything and I rarely use credit cards as a means for cash. It's gets better , . I contacted the bank and told them it was fraud on my debit card.. I did my own investigation and located the company explained that the charge on my credit card is fraud and that I was going to file a police report. fraud. Personally, I believed the guy from Enterprise Car Rental took a screen shoot.of my credit card and placed an order online and was going to have t shipped to a different address. I contacted the Supervisor at Enterprise and told him about the fraud he claims it is not possible and was not helpful whatsoever. I then contacted the company in Calabasas a second time to make sure that the charged would not be fulfilled and they told me that someone called and cancelled the order. I simply did not want another person to become a victim of fraud. I contacted Enterprise and asked for the district-manager and told him what his employee did to my credit card . He replied, and says it could be possibly identity theft . Wow! That's funny because there was only that charge . I had evidence of the charges that were charged a few hours after the 100.09 car rental charge,. What I found quite appalling that neither of higher manager did not get to the resolution nor try to Investigate the matter. The charges were charged back to my credit card. Please do not use your credit if you have an insurance claim. All this guy had to do was screen shoot my credit card information. Avoid this branch, for the last 15 years I been renting cars and enterprise has been my number one choice because of the customer service and quick service. I rented a car on July 27, due to car being in the bodyshop. Rental is covered by insurance and I choose Enterprise. Big mistake, this branch is a joke. After getting pick up from the body shop we got there, and had to wait 30 mins to get service. Only one person was helping customers. Finally drove off. The problem was when trying to turn the car. They were charging $100 cleaning fee for Dog hair. Never did the lady who help us told us about that, even when se saw we had our small dog. The guy helping when returning the car states it is policy and the person who help us should had told us. Then he goes and says you can't smoke in the car either. That's not the $@&j; issue here. You have a dam sign in the car that says no smoking, where is the no dogs in the car symbol if he had to bring that up. What got me even more irritated was when he said we brought the car a little over less than half the tank fueled and he was letting that slide. Lol. First, I took a picture when driving off and the fuel gas meter was exactly how when I took the van on the first day. To avoid this they should give the cars full in tank and avoid this problem. I ask for managers business card and they had none. They did not even bother calling management or someone to help me out. In conclusion, safe yourself a headache and take your business to another branch or company. This place has poor management and people working there that have poor communication skills. read more
