Throughout the many years of traveling and rental car usage, I have always appreciated the Enterprise Car Rental Service as a business. I live in Fallon, NV, a town population of roughly 9,600 people. There is one ENTERPRISE Office which services this city. I have seen quite a few personnel changes and shortages in the past 8 years living here. The problem is, due to the manpower shortages and different reasoning for staff shortfalls, the office has many challenges trying to keep up with maintaining a functional rental car service with a staff member available to answer calls and/or have the rental office open throughout a normal workday; In helping walk-in rental customers, vehicle inventory movements, as well as, wash and services. Currently, the Fallon Office has 2 people; Ms Elena, the Manager who is Awesome and tries very hard to take care of customers, as well as help in vehicle movements. And of course, Mr. Will, a wonderful and quite thorough gentleman who has been a constant and reliable employee, who, I know has always been in charge of vehicle care. The 2 Managers before, that I am familiar with, Ms Santos, who left almost 2 years ago, Ms Shaylee, who left last year, Jordan who I am somewhat familiar with helped with maintaining vehicles. These 2 employees (Ms Elena and Mr. Will) are doing an Amazing Job to service this community at the Enterprise office, as best they can. However, in My Professional Opinion, it is not good business practice to expect that this operation can provide full service and functional requirements expected of the corporate level, to support the community with limited staff. The 2 people that are working here, Elena and Mr. Will, can only do the best that they possibly can in keeping this office functioning day to day. It is high expectations put on these 2 people with Limited or NO additional help. How are they to continue supporting the Enterprise Business Model and Executive Level expectations when they barely can have a day off for appointments or relaxation, receive exceptional recognition and pay for their hard work and dedication? If the Executives are not paying attention to this, you will probably be losing people again and have to find other people to fill in because the leadership is not paying attention to what really matters!! I am totally for great support and service within the community; however, this Staff of 2, are really hustling for the Enterprise Corporation and they have to be properly cared for and heard in order to continue to be a "Fully Functional Operation" that WE need here in Fallon, Nevada. Uncommunicative staff that rarely, if ever, manages to keep their word. You are either going to reserve a vehicle, or you are not. Either you "promise" a car will be returned the following day, or simply express your genuine uncertainty about its return ETA. Time wasted is money lost, and potential memories waylaid. Screw this local business. The Beverage Market with all of its glorious old fashioned sodas couldn't survive Covid, but this did? Yet more proof that life just isn't fair. PS: Closed on Saturdays?!? What an absolute joke. Don't bother reaching out with your canned responses. I don't much care for those with a personal touch either. Take your hollow platitudes and stick them in your collective ear. I'd rather risk Rutger's, or Bean's psychopathic attention, and hitchhike - then play the masochist, and deal with Fallon, NV's Enterprise Car Rental Company EVER again. read more

I cannot thank Cheryl enough for her great customer service! On a Friday, when my car needed to be towed to a service center 70 miles away and roadside assistance completely screwed the pooch on arrival time, I contacted Enterprise to explain my situation and how I would be arriving into town at near their closing time. Cheryl went so far above and beyond in order to make sure that I was able to get a vehicle and not be stuck 70 miles from for two days. I hoped for something but Cheryl's service skills went so far above what I could hope I almost didn't believe it was real. Who knew that in Fallon, NV you were going to find one of the best Enterprise locations I've ever used (and Enterprise has long been my go to rental car company)? Certainly not me, but I'm certainly going to make sure anyone in the area knows about them for their rental needs. read more

After being towed into town and not sure when our vehicle would be done I went on line and booked a rental car. This was done around 8 am for an 11am pick up. Reservation accepted. I called the branch when it opened to set up a pick up at our motel and was told to call back when I was ready for pick up and that they did not book pick ups in advance. I called back about an hour later and the same guy (the manager) said he didn't have a car for me. Blamed the accepted booking on line area manager. He said he had "may" have a car come back in for me. I called another branch in town on the military base and the manager there looked in the computer and gave me the following information on the branch I had booked the auto at. 3 cars on the lot, 4 expected back in that day and GET THIS 12 reservations with mine being the last. I think that is 5 autos short of covering the reservations. BTW - the manager never called me back to say we have or don't have a car for you. I guess that since they are the only auto rental in town they can get away with this kind of poor service. read more

Worst customer service experience ever! Krystal Randolph, AST Manager is literally the worst customer service person I have ever dealt with. I had a confirmation number, went in to get the car and she said, they don't have a car. Then in about 10 min. They had a car. When we were checking out, I asked about a corporate rate and she said it was more than what she was charging me. She was incredibly rude. And I told her she was. Then she pulled the keys back and told me and my 15 year old daughter to leave and she would not rent us a car. I called the 800 number and as I was speaking to them, she asked is to leave and she was calling the cops. Cops came and I told them what happen, in the meantime I also had to call my elderly father to come back and give us a ride even though he has a very hard time driving to Reno. Of course the cops didn't do anything, cause we didn't do anything. She also said she would put me on the do not rent nation wide registry. Terrible, terrible, customer service. I will defiantly call Enterprise corporate office and file a complaint about her, they really should have such awful people not working there. She's really a terrible employee. read more

Well the service is easy to deal with. The agents are very professional. However I feel a particular empathy for them. Anytime you tell a customer that he will have to drop $300.00 large because his VISA Card is attached to a checking account and then explain it will take at least 5 business days to be refunded after you pay the actual price for rental; that must be a very difficult thing to explain. That's what happened to me with my Navy Federal Credit Union VISA Check and Debit Card. It allows credit transactions, however it is technically attached to my checking account although allowing $2000.00 limit in Credit Transactions. If this example should include you just do what I did. Call AVIS. They will hook you up immediately at the RENO TAHOE Airport and you can pay cash or credit or debit card or whatever form of payment and it's as competitive as well with ENTERPRISE. I will pay only $97.00 for my 3 day trip when I pick up my MID SIZE Vehicle at the airport. IT WILL NOT COST YOU $300.00 UP FRONT JUST TO RENT THE CAR HERE IN FALLON NEVADA. Also, Being a retired Navy Veteran or other Military Retiree does not give you more than a 5% discount. read more

I would not recommend the local office for a vehicle reservation. It does not seem that this location has enough inventory for vehicle rentals at times. In 2010, I contacted this office to reserve a vehicle. When I arrived to pick up the vehicle, I was told that none were available. A few days ago, my family needed a larger vehicle for an unexpected out of state trip for a couple of days. They called the local office to reserve and were told that a vehicle would be available and that they needed to come by later that day to pick up the rental. When they arrived later that afternoon, they were told that there were no rentals available. Specifically, they were told that five vehicles total had been available for rental, but four had been rented by the time they came in (on the same day) and the fifth vehicle was going into a shop for service. Based on both of these experiences with this local office, I would recommend that Enterprise either increase their inventory at this location or change their policies regarding reservations by phone. Enterprise staff should not accept reservations by phone, promising that a vehicle is available, taking contact information from customers to reserve, and then cancelling when a customer arrives to pick up the vehicle. Fortunately for local residents, the vehicle rental offices in Reno, both at the airport and at other locations are able to provide a rental vehicle quickly without any issues and usually for cheaper. read more
