Rented a one way compact car from this Fort Mill location to Charleston Airport, for 2 days and a few hours. Friendly and fast check in process. The kind and lovely ladies gave me a free upgrade to small SUV, a Mitsubishi Outlander. The car had less than 2000 miles on it, very new, and ran perfectly...especially the air conditioning which is a must in a Carolina Summer. The gas wasn't quite full, so the lady told me to return with about the same. I returned the car with a 7/8ths full gas tank. The Charleston Airport employee said it was notated that the gas only needed to be 3/4ths full, so he was going to refund me $30 for the extra gas. Wow! I was blown away but that quick and easy refund. Overall rather expensive for $305, but that was my fault for booking later rather than earlier. read more

I was told this morning that they would have a car for me by lunch and call me back. I called at three different times to finally be told they wouldn't have anything for over 48 hours. Be forthright and keep better stock! Not having a single car that you could pull from any surrounding areas of Charlotte or other cities after this much allotted time is unacceptable. I can't quite believe that every location is out of stock. The three times I called corporate I was informed I would receive a phone call in just a few minutes from a manager to have me a car. What a joke, haven't received a single call back from corporate or any location! Also, update your app to reflect you have no services to provide when sold out - very misleading. read more

1 Star - Discriminatory, Retaliatory & Unprofessional If I could give zero stars, I would. I had a confirmed reservation at the Enterprise Fort Mill, SC location, called ahead to verify, and was told my car would be ready. Instead, I arrived to chaos--they lost the keys, made me wait over 20 minutes, then suddenly found them but claimed the car still needed cleaning. When I questioned why my reserved car wasn't ready, the manager, Lacey, became defensive and retaliated by refusing to rent me a car altogether--without cause. While I was on the phone with Enterprise corporate to report the situation, she threatened to call the police on me if I didn't leave--despite my calm demeanor and valid reservation. Moments later, she happily served two white customers without issue--no mention of being closed, no threats, nothing. This was blatant discrimination and retaliation. Because of her abuse of power, I had to scramble for last-minute transportation to the airport and pay significantly more for a rental. Enterprise should be ashamed to employ managers who treat customers this way. Avoid this location at all costs! I also use or shall I say, USED, Enterprise for my corporate travel --No More! Reserved and Audi of BMW weeks ago for a pickup today at 8:00 am. We receive a call on our voice mail at 7:30 telling us vehicle is not available would you like another please call. Their other cars and not of high quality. Try to call and no response. We have used this location several times due to location and multiple times have had issues. This is the final straw, unless they are they only one left to rent to stay away. read more

My wife and I needed a rental car for 1 day last week. We reserved in advance a mid-size vehicle, in this case a Toyota Corolla. We understand that it might be a different car when you pick it up, and that it should normally the same size or an upgrade. When we picked up the vehicle all they had was an economy car, a Mitsubishi Mirage. This is one of the worst quality and lowest safety rated cars on the road. I can't believe that Enterprise even offers this vehicle. This is a major downgrade from our reservation. I asked specifically if this was our only choice and was told this was all they had at the time. Luckily, we were not going on a trip, just using it around town, so we took it. It was the worst driving vehicle we have ever been in. The days of only providing same or an upgrade are evidently gone. Enterprise knows whether or not your size is available or not when you reserve and should not allow the reservation if the vehicle is not going to be available. read more

Super disappointed. This is the 2nd time we picked up a vehicle from this location and it was dirty. We picked up our vehicle for the week. We didn't notice the awful smell at first (probably b/c lysol was sprayed). After vehicle sat for 1/2 day, we got in to drive it and it reeked of weed. This is a non-smoking vehicle, yet it reeks of weed and it's dirty. The FM location closes at 12 so there was nothing we could do. read more

The reservation was made 3 days in advance but when I arrived to pick up there were 4 people waiting in the lobby 3 of them for at least an hour to pick up a car. The two women working the lobby just kept telling me that the car was being cleaned even though I told them I was in a hurry and did not care if it was cleaned. Finally they got tired of me asking and let me know there were 3 people ahead of me and I would have to wait. She was incorrect, fortunately I do not have to wait or deal with poor service. I cancelled my reservation and took an uber instead. Beware of this location. These ladies need to be canned. Four customers does not make a busy location. These two think they are running a doctors office and are important enough to make people wait on them to do their job. read more

I would give this location 6 stars if I could. I do business with this location SEVERAL times a year. Ive had nothing but great experiences and interactions with Will, Chuck, and Jason. I love this branch!! I can't say enough about their professionalism and dedication to appeasing the customer!! I also just want to acknowledge how clean the cars I have had in the past. I know they are internally disinfected, washed, and vacuumed prior to being handed over the vehicle. Thank you, Enterprise, for always going above and beyond. PS I loved my last rental! I made my reservation on the horror show that is their call center, but did not feel comfortable with the information I received there. I went to the store in person and the guys there were so nice. They picked me up from the body shop, made sure the car they gave me was clean, and told me just to leave it at the body shop when my car was ready - they would pick it up. I do not recommend their call center in who-knows-where in the world, but I do highly recommend the fellows at the Fort Mill location. read more

This location was amazing I've used enterprise twice before (other branches) all as a warranty or insurance paid rental. The first two times using enterprises other branches were poor. However this branch was amazing !!! The car was pristine well cleaned detailed out as if I would had done it ! Most people probably don't care but I'm a nerd and The oil had been changed that day I got it ! Although if I'm paying for it I will probably not use enterprise personally. Although this branch is a better preforming one and if my car is in the shop again I would not be concerned with this location. Very professional team at this location. Plus they answered my phone call on the second dial when I called so very prompt service! They also got me in the car with only two hours notice so they had a very quick turnaround! My experience this morning. Received a confirmation call on 7/8/19 from Enterprise at 2:45pm stating they received my reservation from my insurance company and would have a car for me tomorrow, 7/9/19 at the repair shop where they have a vendor. If the vendor is not there, someone will pick me up and take me to the enterprise location. Guess what? No cars available. The young man come to the repair shop and states,he did not have my name down for a reservation, sir you called me yesterday and we went over the type of car size needed, etc and you received the reservation from my insurance company. He then tells me, this always happens after the holiday, we never have any cars.Excuse me? I am not sure what that has to do with me? Needless to say no car, no apology, now my personal car has to be delayed in a minor repair, and this is the second time this enterprise location has done this. read more

Wow! The service at this location has gone completely downhill. I have been renting almost weekly for years and the last few months it's impossible to get the car you reserved prior at the time you reserved it. That is not even discussing the length of time it takes the entire process when you show up for an appointment. The "manager" actually told me that "maybe this isn't the best location for me to rent from". Wow. I've been a customer for years and because he can't meet expectations of the customers he is being paid to service then I should change locations. Very poor customer service. Ppl who work at this fort Mill location don't seem to be wanting to work. I called for a pick up and I was told they will be here literally more than an hour ago. My location is 5 mins away from them and it has been more than an hour since their estimated pick up time. I called five times in the past 15mins as I am getting late. They put me on hold for few minutes and then suddenly hang up. I kept calling and was able to speak to a rep who said pick up was 2 mins away and again put me on hold and then hung up. Broken Commitment Reserved a car for 4:00 PM and called 2 hours early to ask for a pickup at 4. They asked if they could come get me at 3:30 PM instead before it got busy at the office. They said they'd give me a call when the rep was on his way to pick me up around 3:30. 3:40 PM came and I still didn't hear anything. I went through the website to rent a car because I had totaled mine & was stuck at a body shop about 30 minutes from home. I called to confirm & was on hold over 10 minutes. The guy finally answered & told me they had no cars but he could get another Enterprise to come get me & it would take 2+ hrs. I waited then called the other Enterprise & they told me they could NOT come get me because it was too far. So 3 hrs later and I'm still stranded. Rented a car to drive to Atlanta. Rented a midsize car and it ended up being a Buick. Nice clean and comfortable car. Basically new. Service was good and it was super quick. They go above and beyond at this location! Even though it was my first time at this Enterprise location Rob and Jake made me feel like i was a regular. They had a limited selection when i stopped in, which meant i was going to have to rent a minivan. Rob softened the blow by doing everything he could to accommodate me on price and extras. When i returned the minivan, Jake was more than happy to drive me to the dealership where my vehicle was being fixed. Highly recommend this location to anyone! read more

The staff at Enterprise in Fort Mill were wonderful, the car 2015 Ford Fiesta however was below par. Drivers side seat did not work at all and was stuck in one position, key fob also did not work. Could not lock the doors or open (a real pain) with the fob. Opener was on dash so you had to duck down really low to push inside the car to unlock the other doors. Had to use the key to open drivers side, no key hole on other doors. I was supposed to get a discount on the rental due to the lock issue, but haven't seen it as of yet. Check car thoroughly, make sure everything is in working order before leaving the lot. read more

I was in an accident in my brand new car in April. I went to enterprise the following morning to get a car thinking that I would be in it for a few weeks. Because I had just been in a rear end collision and the first accident of my 35 years of driving, I was very paranoid of everyone on the road. Enterprise was very understanding and was able to put me in an SUV similar in size to what I was used to. It was a good thing because I was in that rental car for 14 weeks. I have always used Enterprise for my rental cars and would definitely recommend them to anyone. read more
