Writing a review based on our experience about two weeks ago... My husband and I flew in unexpectedly from LV due to a death in a family. Only anyone who has ever been in this situation understands the planning on a last minute flight, hotel and other arrangements are unbearably stressful and nothing anyone is ever ready for. Yet, here I am in a hotel room late at night, trying to piece together the next few days of our arrival. I was so exhausted that I booked the wrong date when reserving the rental thinking it was the next day. Next day, my husband and I get up early and uber to Enterprise. We checked in and found that I had booked the wrong date. Please note, the staff were not aware why we are in town. The young lady told us not to worry and was able to adjust the date and get us a rental. The car was ready to go and had just been maintenanced inspected. I was so thankful and relieved and everyone was so personable and friendly. I could not express how nice everyone was. She was able to answer all our questions including the toll fees and how they work. As far as the vehicle itself, Smooth ride, we never had any issues and we had the same great experience when we turned the car back in. When we turned the vehicle in, there were a few guests in front of us, the wait was reasonable and we received wonderful genuine service. We all made small talk as we waited for our Uber to get there and take us back to the airport and they even said good bye and wished us safe travels. This location was easy to find, Storefront is clean including waiting area and restrooms. I really appreciate this experience during a hard time and making it a smooth as possible. read more

I should not have to take out special insurance to cover your car against act of God like hailstorms and tornadoes. As the owner of that asset, you should be insured for this and I should not have to pay for this damage. You did not used to do this. I am not sure when you started, but that's bad customer service. You guys are forcing me to buy the alternate insurance so that I don't have to pay out-of-pocket from my deductible in the event that this new vehicle that I'm renting also gets damaged by hail. I think if I have to have this insurance, you should be billing my insurance company for it. If you rent, beware. read more

Rented a car here through insurance. Left and a tire was low on air. They filled it but it's low again a few days later. We took the car back to try and get it traded out and one guy was going to do it but some other guy decided they couldn't. They sent us to a tire shop 10 minutes away to get it fixed. I'm currently writing this review from the waiting room. It's already been 40 minutes. Upper management needs to discipline the person was that decided we couldn't trade out the car. read more

Ordered a pickup 5 days in advance of pickup. They called me 2 days before to confirm I needed a pickup. I showed up for my appointment, there is no truck and I have been sitting here for an hour waiting for them to "clean and get my suv ready". Poor experience. read more

Avoid at all costs. Our insurance submitted our reservation. It was put in my name instead of my husband's so they refused to give him the car even though we are married (obviously) and both owners of the car. Then, I called Enterprise and they added his name to the reservation. We talked to our insurance who also put in a back up reservation in my husband's name just in case. Well, Enterprise canceled the reservation and even though we were set to pick up the car at 5pm (at 444pm) when my husband arrived he was told "we cannot guarantee you a car today because of the reservation cancelation/change." So, no car despite the rep on the phone confirming us a car at 5pm. The person at the counter was rude both times (two different individuals). Clearly customer service is not a priority. I will not use Enterprise again. We have had way too many issues with them. read more

I had a reservation at Enterprise in Richardson at 410 Central Expressway. The reservation was confirmed and paperwork sent to my email address. A male employee called me back and told me there was no vehicle at this location , and will not have any vehicle at this location until Monday ( today is Thursday )Really ? To make a long story short , this was the worst experience I ever had at Enterprise and will Never go to that location again . I called the Mesquite location and told her ( Brooke ) what happened and she assured me no one would call back and say they did not have that vehicle or any vehicles on the lot until Monday. read more

First of all, the branch was able to "squeeze" me in since I needed a vehicle. When I got there, they tried to put me in a minivan... Nope. I eventually got a car that was not a minivan. I didn't like the care, but I needed the car. The only good thing about this place with my experience was Danny, even though he did not see the damage to the roof of the vehicle I rented. So when I returned the car, the big boy decided it was my doing - the hail-like damage to the roof; however, there was no hail in Texas during the time I had the vehicle. Even Danny said that he missed it and that I was not liable for the damage, but Big Boy still made a claim... I should mention that that upon returning the vehicle, there were only 2 people in the branch and more than 2 people needing assistance, AND the phones were ringing off the hook going unanswered or put on hold. Fast forward to today when I had to call the branch for a separate issue, after being on hold for 5 minutes, someone finally answers. I asked my question and the chick didn't even act like she was concerned or willing to help me. She put me on hold again... While on hold, I was looking at the website so I could find where to leave a review, and actually found a way to resolve my issue without talking to anyone from the branch. We flew into Texas to take our two grandsons to the zoo. We booked a car with someone else and they ran out of cars before our flight even got to Texas. So we were stranded at the airport with no way to get to our hotel or the zoo. My husband called Enterprise and they too had run out of cars but when they heard the situation they said they would see if they could help us out. As luck would have it they were able too. They fact that they went out of their way to help us was not only a lifesaver it restored my faith in humanity. I am so thankful. read more

Enterprise Rent A car This was a nightmare of an experience. We rented an economy car at this location and Alex was our service representative. They told me to call at least 15 minutes ahead of time so they had time to clean and sanitize the car before we picked it up . I called two hours before. When we got there they had just started cleaning the car. Our rental was a Nissan Versa with approximately 32k miles on it. We did the normal walk around to verify the condition of the car. It's what you can't see that became a problem. After leaving Enterprise with the Nissan Versa, the front left bumper came loose. We stopped at a 7-11 to get drinks and that's when we noticed the bumper was loose. We tried to pop it back in place, and while doing so, it was apparent that this had happened before, as the plastic pieces were scratched and worn where it became obvious others had tried this before. We only drove on normal highways, so we had no idea what caused this. Fortunately I had purchased the bumper to bumper insurance for an additional $20 a day. Not to mention they charged our credit card a $200 deposit in addition to $150 (the estimated cost for the time we had the car.) I'll never recommend or rent a car at this vocation again. Embarrassing, walked in with documents filing to rent a car the lady flat out had attitude, rude as well as walked away to the back without telling me what the issue was. Why make a reservation and why call and confirm MULTIPLE times just for them not to show up?!? I had a reservation to pick me up on a Tuesday at 830, waited till nearly 10, no show, no answer. Finally had to leave and go about my day. Finally got ahold of someone after truly calling ALL DAY LONG to rebook for the following day for 830 pick up....wel guess who's not here yet again and guess who's NOT ANSWERING. First, I incur over 100 rental days annually with Enterprise from locations all across the country and am a Platinum Tier member in their "Program Plus" club, so it isn't as though I don't have some experience to compare this particular location to. It isn't the fact that my reservation, made days in advance, could suddenly not be honored on the day OF PICKUP; glitches happen sometimes, and I get that. What DOES trouble me, is the aggressive unconcern demonstrated toward me personally by the staff. As consumers, we can only vote with our dollars, and I am 100% certain, that the next $6,000 or $7,000 dollars I spend over the next year on rental cars, will NOT be with Enterprise. read more

This Enterprise provided superior service with superb customer service! I was treated like a valued customer from my pick up until I was placed into a rental. Michael A handled my transaction from beginning to end. But believe you me when a problem came up Rudi the manager there was ready and willing to provide support! Even though I did not make an appointment and they had no cars available at the time they made comfotable until they could resolve the issue. That make it work for me! I would highly recommend this Enterprise. And that award winning smile that Michael A gave me warmed my heart! read more

We normally rent from the airport because they have a larger selection of cars, but after I realized there are higher fees at the airport, I decided to find an Enterprise close to my house. I'm very glad I picked this one!! We dealt with Bryan at this location and he was super friendly, not pushy, and even upgraded our car to a larger size at no extra cost. We were in and out of there in about 15 minutes, fabulous!! The return of our car took a little longer due to some damage we sustained on our trip (someone backed into our rental.) However, that extra time is to be expected, they have to inspect the car. On a whim, we took out the extra damage insurance and thank God we did. We were able to just walk away when we turned in the car and won't have to file on our own insurance. Get the extra coverage, you never know when you might need it. They had a good selection of cars at this location and every person working there was friendly and in a good mood (even under high stress conditions during the holidays.) Terrible business manor with terrible employees I'd give 0 stars if that was a option. A "Reservation" means absolutely NOTHING to this place!! We made reservations to pick up a 3 row seating SUV so we could pick our kids up and bring them home with us. Our reservations were booked a week in advance and I called the day before and spoke to confirm. We got to Enterprise as they opened to pick up the vehicle and they told my husband someone else had it. They tried to give him a smaller vehicle but we needed a 7 passenger so they asked him to go down the street to the NW Hwy location where there was a 7 passenger vehicle ready and they would call to let them know we were coming. Because we aren't stupid WE called the NW Hwy location ourselves to confirm and sure enough they didn't get a phone call from anyone AND they were fully booked and had zero vehicles available. Save your time and your day and just call AVIS/Budget. That's who we ended up going through. I called and explained what was going on and asked if they had anything available. The owner who was super nice and understanding put us in a 7 passenger vehicle right away for the same price it would have been at Enterprise (with the added Ins). We were an hour behind schedule but we're on the road to pick up our kids now. read more

Had to rent a car at the last minute. Called around and nothing available. Found this location and was immediately put into a car. Worked with Ken who was incredibly courteous and helpful. Even drove me as a courtesy to drop off my work van and a few days later did the same to pick my van up. Everyone at the location was friendly and we shared a few laughs. Worse rental place (or maybe just location) ever. They had no cars, never answered phone calls.

The initial experience was great! They were friendly and accommodating. But then i had an issue with the car I rented and it was impossible to get someone on the phone. I even emailed!! Interestingly the recording that plays over and over while one holds states how Enterprise rent a car is a "family owned business" and :"how they simply treat their customers how they should be treated"- how is that?? Ignored?? Every circuit is busy?? from 12pm-2pm really??? I swear I called 10 times. Held like ten minutes to only be hung up on. Do not use this location extremely poor service by the branch manager in particular! Car was not ready when it was suppose to be even though they were calling us to tell us it was. We waited at the body shop for over an hour before the manager at the body shop just gave us a ride over there, in which case they still didn't have a car ready for us when they told us by 10a and it was by then 12 o clock. This location is the absolute WORST location I have EVER done business with! I have ALWAYS used enterprise and never, EVER had issues until I walked into the garland location. Taylor was the impolite "service" person I had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with first. He was extremely sarcastic, took his sweet time as he chatted with co-workers, insisted I "download" my phone bill (NOT REQUIRED per supervisors)so that he could verify information (he ONLY needs the cover sheet with address, bill info and date), he then asked if I needed insurance coverage and I stated NO because I have full coverage with state farm in any vehicle I drive... I was told per taylor, due to weekend special that my total price was $65.27 and my debit card would be charged $250 for a deposit BUT I would be refunded the difference when I returned the car Monday! Well, well, well.... Taylor ended up charging me with $150+ in THEIR insurance which I did NOT ask for and declined twice AND I AM STILL DEALING WITH BEING CHARGED FOR INSURANCE I NEVER REQUESTED AND VERBALLY DECLINED! Fyi, WATCH where you sign and initial because taylor points you on the consent side when you VERBALLY SAID NO, TWICE! Mr Taylor needs retraining and better manners. Afterwards, I'm walked out to this small vehicle that I called specifically BEFOREhand and requested NOT to get. I asked to exchange it before ever driving off the lot and was told to try tomorrow by Bridget and they "might" be able to help. Yes, she tried calling down to one other store but was the ONLY one to make a minor attempt at fixing this. Within hours, something came up work related and I had to leave town immediately... The car SMELT like a dog that had spent all day in the sun in combination with an ashtray, white dog hair EVERYwhere, never vacuumed, sticky stuff in the cup holder, stuff all on the door over the speaker, the outlet to use a charger did not work. Needless to say, I drove 2-3 hours with the windows DOWN in NOT so warm weather because the smell gave me such a bad headache... While on the phone with enterprise customer service (thankfully my phone battery was charged because the outlet in their car did NOT work)! The following day, they car battery died on the way to exchange this vehicle at another enterprise... Shocker right!? The tow driver was sent from enterprise out in OKC by the airport to come jumpstart/tow this vehicle to exchange it. He was able to get it started but advised me to NOT turn it off because the battery was bad! The bright side, I was able to exchange this trashy vehicle I rented in garland at the OKC airport. EVERYTHING involved with this GARLAND location has been hell. I will NEVER do business with this location again and I would NOT recommend THIS location to anybody, ever. The location of this office couldn't be better! It makes it easy to do a weekend road trip rental. The individuals I encountered were friendly, but it was apparent that they were slammed. The rental price was fair and they delivered what I had requested. The rental process and the drop off process took longer than I expected due to the high traffic and lack of staff. All in all it was a good experience and I would rent from them again. However I was slightly disappointed with the demeanor of one of the managers. When I picked up my rental there was a gentleman who was giving all kinds of grief to the employee that was assisting him. In all honestly the customer was being a complete jerk. When the individual asked to speak to the manager, the clerk that was assisting him expressed that he was the manager. Don't get me wrong...I feel bad that people in the customer service industry would have to put up with rude pushy people like the one who was there, but the manager did not handle himself in the best way. The thing that disappointed me most about this manager's behavior was that he seemed to take his frustration out on those around him. When he came back into the office after dealing with the annoying customer he was visibly frustrated. At that point one of his employees had a lady there and had a question about how to resolve an issue. Instead of moving past the annoyance of the guy before and helping resolve the issue the manager was snarky and short with his employee. I felt bad for the manager because he had to deal with the guy being a jerk, but I felt worse for the other employees and customers that would follow and have to deal with this manager in such a bad mood. read more

Unlike the other reviews here, I've had a pleasant experience with this Enterprise location. The first time I needed a car in a hurry due to a family death and they took care of my needs swiftly. Nightmare experience! I have done business with Enterprise for years and even at this location. They did not have my car ready or any car which honestly could have been Geicos fault. They made reservation. I was offered an upgrade to SUV by employee and told all would be ready the next day. Just needed deposit, license, proof of insurance. Explained I had 11am appointment. They said I'd be good to go at 9am. Arrived next day was told I had to pay more and would be put in compact car. Refused. Got an extremely rude manager. He sent me home with a driver. Called at 10:57am to say he did not have a car for me. I called the 800 number to complain twice and was told a supervisor would call me. A WEEK later I have never been called by either manager or supervisor! Still no enterprise car. I will never use Enterprise again! read more

This place is ridiculous!!! Absolutely zero professionalism. No one answers the phone. When someone does, they have no clue what they are doing. They are rude and do not communicate details clearly. The part that I find hilarious, is the fact that they try and make a sale by scaring customers. They will ask you if you know your deductible and will say well if there is at least one scratch on the vehicle, we will swipe your card for that amount. So by saying this they suggest you opt into the extra coverage offered by them. Sorry, that's not how it works. Also, take a video of the walk around of the car before leaving the lot. Have the associate state his name in the video, date, and where he works. Then do the same when you get back. I filed a complaint with my insurance as well. Progressive has a contract with enterprise and I am set to renew next month and told them my contract needs to be updated to have access to another rental company other than this one. I will pay out of pocket before using Enterprise again. I would like to add that my card was charged by enterprise for an amount I did not authorize. That's considered stealing. And they did not do a walk around of the vehicle and just lied to the claims adjuster stating they did. They sure do know how to treat a customer. read more

My experience was 2 days before Christmas. Desk was slammed, but only delayed for a small time. A customer was so upset I could hear her over the phone, but the two agents that showed up for work handled her issue like professionals. The two local offices worked in conjunction to help me pretty quickly considering the short staff and other complaining customers. Good people, check in was quick and easy. I'll be back! read more

Booked my reservation. Showed up for it. There was none available. Told me I need to pay for a size up. I asked the how come?got some bs explanations. So I said can I reserve one for tomorrow? Manager said I need to wait til Monday. I left with no car as my reservation states I could get. Addison was an absolute pleasure. He went out of his way to let me stay for couple minutes after close as it stormed badly. When I found out my ride wouldn't show for a little longer than expected, he drove me to a near my restaurant so I could have shelter. Amazing person that man is. Very well done. Customer service is top notch! All of the employees are courteous, professional, and efficient. You can sense comradery amongst them. I feel very comfortable with everyone; I've become a regular at this location due to work requiring me to travel. Every time I have made a reservation online, the car of my choice has been available. Mark the Manager initially won me over as a customer after experiencing a minor maintenance problem with my first rental. Before I could say anything he helped me out with the price of the rental. Worst experience from any rental company ever and STILL not in a vehicle. Company that picks you up? I stood at the intersection we agreed to meet FOR AN HOUR and no one showed up. After 30 minutes of waiting I called and stayed on hold for the other 30 minutes before giving up and WALKING back home. Originally I was told they couldn't provide the vehicle I requested but I could have a smaller alternative until the one I wanted got there the next morning. Called the next morning and THEY ALREADY RENTED THE TRUCK OUT. They tell me this after explaining I was listed as a no show the day before. I STOOD AT THE INTERSECTION FOR AN HOUR! ANY CLOSER AND I'D BE IN THE STREET! Then they give me hell because I have an expired DL and a picture of my current DL. My wallet was recently stolen. Wouldn't let my wife rent the vehicle instead and now I'm in line at the DPS making my wife late for an appointment. Tai and Charlie were the two "helping" me. Never going to this location again. They don't even deserve one star. Worst experience with a rental vehicle ever. Wouldn't let me have the vehicle without extra damage insurance after I refused multiple times and then made me pay almost a hundred extra dollars at the end. 100% scam artist. I tried calling corporate multiple times to get the issue resolved and they just blew me off with no calls back. Worst rental company all together. read more
