    It's best to reserve a rental car before you arrive. There will be a line. Depending on when you arrive as well there may not be enough cars. Good service though. They were open late into the night when we arrived at BWI. There is a shuttle that will take you to and from the airport to the car rental. It's about 8 minutes. There are 5 stops the shuttle goes to.

    This van was just what we needed thru the labor day holiday weekend.

    We rented our van from this location. Everything went smoothly including the van. We needed a seven passenger vehicle. A Chrysler Pacifica (2022) The van was very spacious. Had a lot of luggage space. Drove very smoothly. We returned the car back a day early so we received credit for one day. This location is very convenient with a lot of parking available if you're waiting to drop off someone to pick up their rental. Would definitely use again.

    My family rented two cars for the week. We must have arrived at the rental facility at just the right time. Walked right up to the counter. We were checked in by a competent professional looking, polite young man named Abe, who then handed us off immediately to a person who took us to our cars. We picked from 6-8 available cars. Both of the cars were clean and damage-free. We were at the counter and on our way in less than 5 minutes. After a week, we brought the cars back and were greeted by someone who ensured​ the cars had been good for our needs. The (?) Intake person offered guidance about how to safely get from the garage to the shuttle and we were off. We were checked in (in the garage) in less than 60 seconds. The Enterprise staff at BWI were a credit to their company. Would rent here again.

    We rent cars fairly frequently but had not rented from Enterprise in the recent past. We booked our reservation online a few weeks prior and they were fairly busy at the counter when we arrived. We waited for about 10 minutes and were helped by a young man who was friendly and efficient. He directed us outside to the garage area and we were shocked when a young lady walked out and greeted us with a handheld device and asked us for our last name and immediately walked us to our car. This is a much different experience for us than most - we were impressed! We were on our way in just a few minutes in a new Nissan Rogue with less than 7,000 miles. The car was clean and comfortable and we appreciated the Sirius radio and Car Play feature which allowed us to map our stops and view the directions on the screen located on the dash. We had no problems with the car and upon return we were greeted by someone who got the car checked in quickly and we were on our way. I think I need to look up my Enterprise reward information because we will be using them in the future. Great experience!!! Also, Enterprise is one of the few companies that allows your spouse or domestic partner to drive for free which is a nice option to have.

    They don't convey everything and before renting the car, and after returning they will keep charging your card some different reasons

Called National Roadside Assistance. They were helpful but by then the closest open rental facility was in the airport. Went back to National BWI, who were expecting me and handled the switch out smoothly. Took my vehicle and got another one. Another minor issue. The next vehicle's display screen kept locking up when I tried to interface to Google Maps. Each vehicle was a nearly new Mitsubishi SUV. These are not really National's fault. Hope to rent from them again on my next trip!

    I rented from National Car Rental on a work trip to Baltimore. I caught the shuttle to the car…read morerental location. National was located to the left once inside the building. There was only one person in front of me, my wait time was 5 minutes. I showed my ID and provided a credit card. The checkout process took less than 10 minutes. I walked into the garage where I was met by an employee who pointed me to a mini SUV. I was very happy with the car as it had less than 3,000 miles. It still had the new car smell and drove like a dream. Drop off was easy peasy. I got in line and someone came to take the keys and check in the car very quickly. Then I hopped on the free shuttle bus which took me to the terminal.

I had already done the pre-check in and my name was on the board when we arrived. Problem was, there were literally 2 cars to choose from. The whole Presidents Aisle was missing in action! While standing there trying to get into one car, a rep came over and tried to check it in to my name. Unfortunately, someone at the counter already reserved it. Thankfully, this Hertz rep was awesome and he saw a car that just had been returned, and he went to get it across the parking lot and brought it to me and checked it out for me. It was a Kia Sportage (2nd time I have received this type of car from Hertz. I like it...small SUV, very comfy, fun to drive, good gas etc). Return was a breeze. They have a shuttle that takes you to the rental car facility. It took about 10 minutes..one of the longer shuttles from airport to rental lot that I have taken. Rating would be higher if they had more cars.

When I got there, there was a kind lady in front of the door to the garage directing people to go stand in line. When I got to the line, I was met by several disgruntled customers. Nobody was telling them what to do. No one was telling them what the problem was. One lady had been waiting there for two hours. Hertz had run out of cars and they had no resolution. The desk associates were completely flustered. They said it could be 1:30 hours for a car. They're just waiting until a car came in. If you don't think you'll have a car, don't reserve them for people. Hertz lost some credibility in my mind today!

Instead of being allowed to speak to anyone at the actual rental car location, I was told to fill out a generic lost and found form. No phone number, no way to contact the branch directly. I called the main line begging for help -- literally begging -- and the guy refused to transfer me to the location. After five minutes of pleading, he finally said he'd "call himself," but of course there was no answer. We had just gotten married the day before and were supposed to leave for our honeymoon in two days. The stress this caused is unbelievable. It's now been three days, no update, no email, no voicemail -- nothing. That car is definitely rented to someone else by now, and who knows where my wallet is. The lack of urgency, accountability, and basic human empathy here is beyond disappointing. This isn't just poor customer service -- it's a total failure of common sense. If you value your sanity (or your belongings), avoid this company at all costs.
