This review is for Alexis, a customer service agent at this location. While the "reservation" system that's in place is still imperfect, even after the famous Seinfeld episode from 30 years ago, Alexis did a wonderful job on Christmas Eve Eve. She stayed patient, kept customers informed and did everything to help people get in cars. She even was on the phone with other locations. Alexis deserves a high five, as well as the co workers who were checking people out and cleaning cars. The reservation system at all rental places gets 1 star. I had a great experience at this location with both the pickup process and with the customer service. I rented through Costco Car Rental so I had not paid prior to picking the car up. We had issues with our flight coming into Houston, so I could only pick up the car one day later than what my reservation was originally for. It depends on location and company, but most reservations if not picked up on time would be cancelled and you would have to reserve at a higher rate. When I called this location, Krystal (who I believe is the manager) said she would not only adjust my reservation but that she would not charge me extra. When I finally was able to go pickup the car, I noticed she was working. Although there were multiple people ahead of me, she had a great attitude and demeanor and was smiling the entire time while helping all the customers. She was able to assist me and get me on my way. She also gave me a free upgrade which really came in handy. Going to only rent from here every time I'm in town! read more

all i needed to know was if they had any full-size vehicles available. whoever was handling the phone kept coming on, clicking buttons and putting me back on hold before ever speaking. eventually i was hung up on before even speaking to anyone. i had to call a total of 5 times, each time hearing buttons being pressed and intervals of hold messages before finally getting someone named Brandy all so she could tell me they don't have vehicles. it's enough to be dealing with the aftermath of a car crash and lawsuits but on top of that, poor customer service. update: called again today and of course button clicking then getting placed on hold again lol Brandy got to my call faster and provided the information I needed but nonetheless, it should be noted how unprofessional it is to come on the line, click buttons and then put someone back on hold read more

A complete joke, at least it would be if it were funny in the slightest. Every time, every time not once, not twice but every time I have gone to this location it's the same excuse. I make a reservation weeks in advance and then I get calls the night before telling me they don't have a car. They offer me vans, pick up trucks and anything else except the car that I reserved. A complete joke. And the corporate office? Even worse, they have absolutely no sense of what customer service looks like, smells like, sounds like or tastes like. This company is an absolute disaster. I'm not showing up on the spot with unreasonable expectations, I'm making reservations for business trips weeks in advance and it's always the same ignorant reply "we work on a real time basis, just because you made a reservation doesn't mean it guarantees you a car". I have to admit I really don't like to rent cars, but sometimes it is a necessary evil. I recently had to leave my car at the shop overnight and they recommended this particular enterprise. I personally prefer a loaner from the dealer, but hey.. they'll find a way to charge you for it!! So, I had the car one day and after taxes, fees and discounts the price was $40.68. I got an avanger, which I hated quite a bit, but it got me from point A to point B and worked well. The service at this enterprise was great, they were all very friendly and the rental process was very smooth as was the return process. They did try to get me to buy their insurance, but I have full coverage insurance as well as secondary insurance through my Amex. The guy tried to scare me into buying it, but all he got was a "No thank you" from me. Overall a good experience, so I do recommend them. read more

I had to drop my car off at Caliper Collision and due to unforeseen circumstances, they still haven't completed the work but that's another story. My first experience with this location was very pleasant and efficient. Jerricka (hoping I spelled that correctly) was juggling between customers, searching for more rentals, and employees then handled it all like a boss. When I dropped the car off, she was very accommodating and allowed me to drop off the rental at a closer location. My second time renting was paid through the collision company. Again, Jerricka was there and was accommodating, friendly and efficient. I still have the rental but I was generally impressed with this woman and how she handled herself and others; which is why I felt compelled to write this review. read more

Booked for my friend fir a week and I went with him to pick up. Car wasn't ready. Agent was by himself. He said they short handed. Agent required $200 deposit but I didn't see that requirement when I booked for my friend, nor see it on the docs I printed. My friend was not given copies of docs agent required him to sign and initial in his electronic tablet. Agent gave my friend the car key without introducing him to the car's features. Absolutely a joke of a location. Darrius refused a pick up 2.6 mi away saying it was too far. He refused to even check the address. Then proceeded to tell me they had no cars available after I made the reservation hours before AND uber'd there. Darrius was a combative little shit. Swelling up at me and demanding I repeat to him what I was telling his boss. Shit head kid raising his voice - I bet his balls haven't even dropped yet - younger than my son. I was on the last day of a 15 day business trip - about an hour behind due to their refusal to pick up and general foolery. With exhaustion plus a sinus infection draining me he is lucky I didn't tear off my belt and whip him like the kid he acted like. If anyone looks stupid after this - it is the general manager. I leave 1 star because I can't give less. Enterprise has added charges on 2019 to my name from February 2010. I have never been contacted about these charges before 8/14/2019 when I tried to rent a car from them, and they informed me they couldn't rent me a car because of those charges. After several attempts of reaching a person at the number they provided I reached Robert (employee number: E321YH) that told me they had no information on these charges just that it happened on February 2010. They had no information about what car, where it was rented, for how long, who rented it, how it was paid, or anything of use to find out why I had those charges. They then said that a manager would contact me soon. That did not happen. I received an email from a collection agency this morning and that is the only thing I've heard about this matter. I have rented cars from Enterprise after the date they provided, and this issue never came up until now. My phone number has remained unchanged since 2005. My address has been the same since the 90s. I was in the middle of my first semester of university at my hometown driving my own car during those dates. The little information Enterprise has does not match anything that was going on in my life at the time. These are definitely fraudulent charges placed on my name recently. I'm not sure how exactly Enterprise messed up, but it could be signs of a bigger problem such as a security breach on customers' data or corrupt practices by the company or employees. Needless to say, I will be avoiding this company for the rest of my life and I would advice everyone to do so as well. The following is a direct warning from The Better Business Bureau website I encountered when looking up the company: Pattern of Complaint Since January of 2018, the BBB of Houston & South Texas has received numerous complaints and customer reviews that exhibit the pattern below: Several complaints received in our office allege Enterprise Rent A Car exhibits poor business ethics due to their lack of customer service and deceptive billing practices. I give much respect to Enterprise. When they mess up they know how to fix it. I got a Sonata ($7 daily upgrade) for me since I opted out of the Focus Hatchback that was within the the terms of the responsible party's policy. But then I left the rental at the collision center and Enterprise was supposed to pick it up and send me an invoice before charging my credit card. Well, that didn't happen. They charged my card $89.53 without my final consent. The young lady I initally talked to at this location did not seem phased that I was pissed. But when I showed up at the location 20 minutes later the manager was more respectful and willing to make me happy. The rental car was given to me at 3/4 a tank full, but they charged me for a full tank(even though I returned the car at 1/2 a tank). NOT COOL! I ended up getting a credit back for $40.00. This location is not my first choice as far as initial service, but they have always worked hard to correct their mistakes. So I must give them kudos for this. But I must truly suggest that this location stop trying to get over in the first place. How about that??? read more

Horrible branch. Reserved a vehicle for 8AM. Now 9.50AM still waiting in line. 10 minutes ago a customer walked in with no reservation. They helped them out ignoring about 6 of us who have been waiting patiently on the chairs. This customer got their SUV in 10 minutes while we wait for a long time. Immediately after that, the agent called on a guy with reservation for an SUV and said sorry there is a problem with an SUV that you reserved. When we stood up and asked about our turn, the agent became standoffish and refused to take responsibility and accountability. Came to find out the standoff agent who is always on his cellphone is the manager - Bruce. Bad experience for us who is a preferred member. Entire fleet smells of smoke. They'll try and cover it up but after you turn on the ac or heat you can smell it. Be sure to check for that if you do end up at this location. If possible avoid it. I just spent a full hour trying to make a simple reservation. I got re-routed to 5 different people, was put on long holds several times, and was given unclear / unhelpful information by most of the people I spoke to. It was clear some of them did not understand my questions and just repeated empty, scripted phrases - and almost all of them talked to me using their own business-specific jargon (which is meaningless, irrelevant, and confusing to the customer). I couldn't even get through to this specific location when I dialed the number; it kept hanging up on me or giving me loud static. I just canceled my reservation and am going with another company. I've lost an hour of my workday, and I am astonished at the lack of communication skills and/or training here. One more thing - when you are receiving terrible customer service, it is ESPECIALLY obnoxious to listen to a looped on-hold message saying how well they treat their customers and how easy it is to work with their company. They need to make sure their employees actually follow through on the advertising slogans. I am particularly concerned that it was not just one employee who seemed incompetent today, but several, and in the same ways. Enterprise showed up to my front steps and drove me to their location off of Richmond because I was without a car. The representative Aaron was very professional and guided me through the rental process. I recommend this enterprise because they will work with you if credit is an issue. I got a loaner car from them through insurance when my car was in the shop after being hit by someone. Getting the car was easy, though I'm not sure if I just didn't hear, or if it wasn't said, that the insurance through them was $35/day, not just a flat fee. whatever, my mistake for not clarifying. the part I had an issue was when I dropped off the car at the mechanic; i was told they'd come pick it up (they're around the corner). I get a call/message a few days later saying they're going to charge me more than $200 for a car I had for 3 days, that was supposed to be covered by insurance. turns out, they thought I had the car for 6 days, not 3 days, which is fine except when i told them and they verified it, I didn't get a call back or a message explaining the new charges. Also, never provided a break down of the charges nor could they explain it to me, when I asked about the difference in my calculations and theirs. and they had already charged my card the day they left the message, instead of waiting for me to confirm; telling me later when I called to inquire about the credit that it was charged when I confirmed the charges the initial day the message had been left; which I certainly hadn't done. Actually, the more I think I about this, the more annoyed I'm getting. Overall, everyone was nice, but that doesn't make up for inaccurate charges on my card made without agreement by me, later being told I had confirmed when I hadn't, not getting a call back (or message) as promised (multiple times) when I called to clarify the situation and then not being able to provide me with a breakdown of charges. Hopefully this was just a fluke. If 2.5 were an option, I'd give that. Modified review to 1 star now - Still haven't been issued a credit. When I called, I was put on hold while she was "looking into it" for 30 minutes, only to have another employee use the line by mistake and tell me she'd let the original person I talked to know to call me back. 1 hour later, no call back, was misquoted the original charge amount, told my original charge amount was the credited amount, call was dropped, she didnt call me back but rather, I called back, waited on hold for another 15 min before I spoke with her and then given the bare minimal information about a credit that should have been issued (but hasn't appeared yet) and told to ask my cc company. Now am disputing the charge. This took up too much of my time to deal with and it's still not resolved. More than anything I'm appalled at the poor communication and customer service when things get a little tricky along with the lack of objective information/reference numbers to help follow up charges. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! This is for the one connected to Uptown Collision. It's a scam. I had to get into a rental and the insurance was suppose to take care of the cost. What Enterprise (Darius) fails to tell me is that I would be paying for a protection plan EVEN WHEN AT THE END OF TALKING TO HIM I CLEARLY ASKED AND HE TOLD ME I HAD TO PAY NOTHING OUT OF POCKET. Yet I get charged when I returned the car. I called the office and had to repeat myself several times regarding what happened. Darius admitted that he fail to explain to me about the protection plan and that he would refund me the full amount (after wanting me to agree to paying half of it. I did not want it in the first place so why would I agree to pay half??) Did I get the whole amount? No. He half ass it. When I called back, he tells me that's all he can refund me and that I was already refunded another amount which wasn't suppose to be refunded in the first place. (I put more gas in there then when I got it and was told that I was suppose to bring it back with the same amount. I deserve that refund.) I'm still waiting on the rest of my refund. All in all, DO NOT GO HERE! It's a complete scam. I should have read these other reviews because it's all true. And apparently I'm not the only one complaining about Darius. Maybe Enterprise should rethink of letting him go or retraining him. Just a thought. read more

I have to say I only rent from this location because it's close to my home and because this location starting from Bruce the branch manager and his staff provide top quality service!!! Staff confirm my reservation a day before and always do a follow up to see how my experience with them was! As soon as you walk in they greet you and when you leave they make sure you are satisfied!!! On one of my rentals I left something in a car I drove! Bruce the branch manager made sure to look for it and followed up with me!!! Kudos to the staff and everyone in that location for providing top quality service!!! I rented a car for 8 days, as My car had collision. They told your insurance will Pay everything except $2. You have to pay out of pocket.I said ok and rented the car. I opted for prepaid gasoline $3.14. When i return the car it have half of the Fuel. It . I expect they will charge $16 + $30 for Gas but to my surprise they charged $123 ( $57 for Gas). I talked to them to take off the charges,but the manager over there is very rude. He is saying all false things. Please dont rent the car from here. Its a big fraud place.
