I've put off writing this review for a long time because, selfishly, I didn't want everyone discovering my favorite Enterprise location. But credit is overdue. Bruce and his staff have consistently provided some of the best customer service I've experienced anywhere. They're knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and genuinely care about making sure customers are taken care of. Every rental experience has been smooth, and any questions or concerns have always been handled with patience and expertise. In a world where great customer service seems harder and harder to find, Bruce and his team continue to set the standard. I'm writing to complain about my mom's experience at this particular location. On April 19 my mom called to confirmed with Marcus at Enterprise that her rental contract should terminate. At the same time, while my mom was on the phone with Marcus, my sister was there at Enterprise with the rental truck. Marcus confirmed he was closing it- it was done. I know this because I was with my mom to hear the conversation. I even recorded it- Marcus confirmed he's closing it. Turns out my sister asked to take it (which meant Marcus didn't close the card out) with the promise that she would return the next day with her own payment to cover it. Well she didn't, and a couple of days later Marcus calls my mom to let her know that the car is still out.... It finally got returned April 29 and each day past April 19 my mom was stuck with the bill. Obviously my sister has issues, but what is Marcus' excuse?!?! Very poor management. Tells my mom it's done, then lets my sister leave with it and keeps charging my mom. Doesn't immediately pick up the phone to give her an update??? Just WOW. read more

5 start is truly not enough for the customer service that Tavia Parham Provided! Her lovely voice was the first thing I heard as she greed me in. She welcomed me with the biggest beautiful smile I have seen . Her qualifications in customer service were beyond good. she made me feel calm as she explained my whole rental process. I can say she went above and beyond to get me a car where my kids and I would to be comfortable and happy. I will definitely come back! I have been renting car's for available 20 years and Enterprise Rental Car has continued to receive a poor grade from me year after year. This company continues to fall below standards in the rental car industry, poor customer por reliability, poor reservation and overall performance in the hospitality industry. I would not recommend Enterprise rental to my worst enemy, pay the Airport fees and rent from different rental company at the Airport where at least your reservations will be honored and kept by Hertz or National Car Rental or any other company but Enterprise avoid the disappointment and stay away from any Enterprise location. read more

Enterprise is a horrible, money hungry company that should be shut down!!! I rent cars often because I don't like to drive my own car when going out of town for family trips. This was the second time in 2 months that I rented with enterprise and had an issue.... never again.... I'm done with your company. This location isn't the one I use but the location nearest me seems to have taken their page off of Yelp.... lucky for them because I was going to rip them a new one for being unprofessional and almost ruining a family vacation..... Last month I reserved a large SUV weeks in advance and when I went to pick up my car, the sales rep tried to give me an old, beat up gold colored Expedition. There were large cracks in the windshield that could have obstructed my view while driving, scratches along the side like some had hit a guardrail, and the trunk door and inside floor was broken apart. He really had the audacity to try to rent me this vehicle for full price (let alone at all). This car should have been taken off the lot or repaired. Luckily, there was a nicer sales rep that brought me a newer model Armada that had been cleaned and was functioning properly. But the fact that someone thought it was ok to try to rent that Expedition out was ridiculous!!! Fast forward to this month, I reserved a large SUV weeks ahead of a family trip; however, the morning I went to pick it up I got a call that they were all out of SUVs and would "look" for one for me...WHAT!!! I was supposed to be leaving in an hour to head out of town with my family and they are just now telling me they don't have a vehicle. I was pissed!!! They were ruining the start of my family's vacation because they over booked and didn't have the vehicle they promised me. Luckily, I was able to call around to another car rental place (not enterprise) and get a vehicle to fit my family and luggage. But that is completely unprofessional.... how can you do that to people and still live with yourselves....NEVER AGAIN!!! You've lost a customer for life..... read more

Pros: always has the vehicle that has been reserved. Cons: terrible customer service and can NEVER seem to have anyone to pick you up which is something consistently stated by the company. I don't know if it's just this particular location. You stand there waiting for someone to help you and you get ignored. Will not be renting from this location ever again. Currently been sitting at this place for over an hour and a half. My sister was in a accident, progressive was covering the rental etc. Get there they stated it'll just be a 15 minute wait. Almost two hours later still waiting smh. If you choose to use this location prepare to wait is all I'll have to say. Not a quick and easy in and out kinda thing. If you have time to wait then do check them out. If your in a hurry I recommend considering another location. read more

I saw that I could save about half the money by going here and not using the airport. Our flight was delayed. By the time we got there, they had given our car away because we were over an hour late. It's hard to call at 30K feet and tell them that we are running behind. The guy at the counter just smirked and acted like it wasn't his problem. Never going back to Enterprise again. read more

I made a reservation for a car rental days prior to my trip at a location nearby my house. The location nearby called us soon afterwards to cancel because in actuality there wasn't going to be a car available. Soon after I made a reservation with the Humble location, told to come at 10:30 am to pick up our car & once we arrived to pick up the rental we were told there was nothing available. Mind you, I live 30 mins away from this location and this location is already in the opposite route we were going for our trip. We never got a call the morning of or day before there's be no cars available. Wasted our time. read more

Geico covered a rental for me while my vehicle was repaired right down the street at caliber collision, to begin, they took over an hour to get to caliber to pick me up. Let's remember it's down the street! Once the guy arrived, he told me enterprise had no vehicle available to me. And also told me that no enterprise from humble to Galveston had any vehicle to rent out to me. They offered to drop me off home so I took that thinking geico had made a mistake. When I get home I call geico and they tell me they had a vehicle available to rent to me when they reserved which was at 9:30Am that morning. I didn't get picked up until about 10:45am so apparently within that time they gave out the car that geico had reserved to me to someone else!!! So unprofessional, very disappointed with this experience wish I had read reviews before hand because I'm not the only one who had experienced this problem with this location. After reading all of the negative reviews for this location I didn't know what to expect. One thing that I do know is that a lot of people take good service for granted and won't take the time to leave a positive review, they only leave negative reviews if they didn't like the service, also known as the Karen syndrome. I took my girlfriend to this location to rent a car for her to go out of town with. All of the workers were very nice and extremely helpful. During her trip they took the time to call and make sure she was satisfied. When she returned to town and needed to return the car I was unable to get away from work to pick her up from dropping off the car and she didn't want to use Uber. She called to see if there would be any issue with them giving her a ride back home, they said it would be no problem. As soon as she dropped off the car they were ready to bring her home with no hassle at all, she was extremely happy with the service and the personnel who work here. I feel that the 8 negative reviews are from entitled people who expect to be served hand over fist. This place does plenty of business, I'm sure the service my girlfriend got was the norm and the people complaining are the exception. We will not hesitate to use this location anytime she needs a rental for a work trip. I want to thank the employees here for such a pleasurable experience. read more

This location actually deserves no stars because this location has the WORST customer service ever. I went in to rent a truck because I was going out of town to perform at a wedding, and I needed something to haul my equipment. I Already own my own vehicle, but my AC went out the day before and the mechanics said they couldn't get it fixed in time so I decided to rent from enterprise. I haven't rented a car in 8 years. The person I dealt with was Kaitlyn. She should have never been in Customer Service. Worst employee ever! She gave my truck that she had brought over from another place, to someone else. She also asked for 3 check stubs, 2 bills and two major cards. Like WTH I wasn't getting a loan, I was renting a car! She was rude and snappy, kept rolling her eyes at me. She was acting mad at me And shes the one who gave the vehicle I was supposed to rent to somone else!!!!! My husband said screw this we are going somewhere else and not spending our money here. My ten year old was also surprised at how rude and disrespectful she was being to me. I just couldn't believe how I was being treated. Here I was about to spend 400 on a rental and Kaitlyn is acting like some snotty bratty 5 year old child!!!! This is the customer service business. If you don't wanna do this kind of work, don't do it!!! Enterprise should be extremely Ashamed that they have someone like this working for them. I will never go to this location ever again! And I hope no one else has experienced the awful experience like we had. But my gut says she's probably like this with all of her customers. So sad. Enterprise, please step your game up and hire some competent people!!!! And people who at least know the basics of CUSTOMER SERVICE!! After this horrible experience, I went down the road to AVIS car rental and wow! Got a vehicle in less than 20 min and the young lady was so pleasant and Amazing. We made a reservation for an SUV for our trip. We called in the morning to confirm the reservation right when they opened. Arrived at our pick up time and the person at the front desk said that they only had small cars available at this time. We explained that we just called earlier to confirm. The employee said that they have a "waiting list" for the car size we chose. We didn't understand why or how it was even possible to book a reservation for a car that wasn't even available. The employee said that she'd check other locations but none were available. This was a complete waste of time and such an inconvenience. The company should have notified us that the car we reserved was not available instead of having us drive all the way there just to figure it out. I would not recommend this location to anyone. Th employee did not even apologize for the inconvenience or try to help compensate for their mistake. We relied on them for our travels and had to put trip on hold to find another place to rent. I totally missed this location, and didn't know it was close by. Overall, this place is sketchy at best! They'll put on a smile and a somewhat professional demeanor...but oh...wait until they get your card information! They'll take the customary deposit, and on a daily basis, will randomly deduct money as they see fit. The 1st time the did this, the gave me some BS reason, claiming I agreed to this! No! I didn't agree to you taking money out of my account as you please! Normally you pay as you return the car, but apparently this location has trust issues. I had to take all my money out of my bank because they were doing this. The day I before I turned it in, I put my money back...and they wasted no time taking out what I owed PLUS over $120 RXTRA! Of course I went back to argue about this, yet different BS reasons why. I even heard another guy complaint about this the first time I felt with this. Not to mention a manager told the lady who failed to comfort me with her stupid reasoning; to call another location...he left, and she stood there still trying to tell me stuff. Stop talking & call the other location! I had to call the other place myself! Overall what they're doing is stealing! I wouldn't risk this location, but if you do, pay attention to your bank accounts and what you owe. read more
