The vehicle we originally reserved and paid for was not available. The staff tried to have us use a comparable vehicle but we refused because the check engine light was on and would not risk being stranded in Vegas heat with 4 kids. We had to downgrade to a much smaller vehicle. The worker tried to put his hand out to shake in the middle to the conversation, my husband shook his hand and the guy said "wait hold on here, I am not done yet, we can't shake on it yet, let me finish talking" .. we we ready to leave the minute he started talking. We needed a rental car starting this evening. My dad reserved a car last week. We drove all day from southern California to pick up the car before they close. When we arrived they informed us that they had tried reaching my dad but they did not have his correct phone number, he never had a missed call and never had an email. I asked why he was not sent an email since that is how he booked and the staff told him that they cannot send an external email. I would not even give them 1star if I had a choice. We did not know they were NOT in the airport or have a shuttle service to them. There was no address or phone number on our reservation. Assuming they were close (walking distance) and would be open. They did not answer our phone calls before hiring a Uber or taxi to get to them and find they were closed before 5:30. The company in the airport would not even rent us a car and we went their competitor and got a car and he said of course we always keep cars for a customers need, this is our business. This is the first tome I've ever rented a car, and the employees were very helpful and professional. They picked me up and brought me to the shop, and when I returned the car, they also had someone who could take me home. I really liked the vehicle they gave me, even if it felt like it was about twice the size of my car, which was in the body shop. My insurance paid for the rental in full. No empathy from the person working. I needed a rental after someone wreaked my car. My husband, and I had been frustrated over this whole sistuation. My husband was upset about the company not having a car ready, and the fact the guy wouldn't work with our schedules. No one informed us until we went in today that they can pick us up. I understand the worker was frustrated, and triggered by my husband bring frustrated. Thats a man thing, but instead of coming up with a plan, he told someone else to help us, and slammed his keyboard around while glaring at me. I truly thought he was going to get in my face. I walked outside. And waited for my husband in tears. I wasnt sure if he was being racist towards me as I'm not 100% white. I wouldn't recommend Enterprise to anyone. Where to even start... they had issues finding my reservation at all. There's a 20 minute hold time every time you call. They sent the pick up driver to a wrong address. Absolutely no empathy or apology for anything they do wrong. We had a rental from Salt Lake City and on our way to Yellowstone, we got a huge 2 feet size crack on the windshield. We stopped by this place to have the car replaced with another one. We had a premium Infiniti QX60 AWD and paid a lot extra for the car not just for luxury but also for the bigger size of the car. The 2 stars are for them to finally help us to get a car to replace this one and get us driving to Yellowstone. The reasons for disappointment are: 1) They had one GMC Yukon and a Chevy Subarban. We asked them to give it for us. Even though they were showing them to other customers, they lied to us that these cars were not available for rental. The car washing guy in the Enterprise did ask me about my situation and said yes we do have these 2 cars available but the folks inside lied to us. 2) I also saw a Hyundai Santa Fe and they didn't give that to us either. They lied that it belongs to someone who works there. But I did see a Enterprise bar code on the window which means it is a rental car in the shop. 3) They had to get a car from Pocetello. It is a Nissan Murano which is a base model. This car was able to hold all our luggage but very tight with respect to passenger compared to the one we had originally. It didn't have any features we had in QX60. We pretty much got stuck with this one for a week after that. It also took us almost 3 hours to get a car replacement though they had other SUVs in the shop. 4) The person also lied a lot to get us out of the shop. He said there is no safety issue with 2 feet windshield crack. Are you kidding me? The small chip became a big 2 feet crack while we got the car into a small dip...and he thinks it won't cause us any further issue? It was raining in Yellowstone and we would have used the wiper all the time...and it could have easily caused a lot more damage in the middle of wilderness. He also offered us to take a pickup truck....again are you kidding? You expect us to put all our luggages over a open bed on the back of the truck and it is forecasted for rain for the whole week? My experience is very unique but we wish we were out of the shop immediately with a correct car replacement. read more

Be warned! You have three options with Enterprise rental. Buy all the extra insurance they offer. Video the WHOLE car before you put the key in the ignition including UNDER the car. Finally, have an attorney on retainer! Currently, the damage claim is minor. But here is the scam; it will balloon to thousands of dollars once the shyster body shop gets the car. Reviewing the rental paperwork, it's inaccurate, incomplete, and does not contain the vehicle VIN. I can't even prove the claim I am supposedly responsible is actualy the vehical I rented! This is NOT the first time they have pulled the repair scam on a rental I've had, but it is the last. I will never use Enterprise again and I will fight this damage claim. read more

Best customer service ever!! Love this location!! These guys are the best they don't always have cars in but communicate and will let you know. I always seem to get an upgrade and this off airport location is half what it costs at the airport. If flying in I would definitely recommend booking from here rather than the airport locations if you want to save some cash. They will pick you up and drop you off so just a minor inconvenience. Rented vehicle for one day. After doing the electronic check out, discovered that they had billed me for a full week. Most of the clerks are pretty decent, this was a new one, and despite having all of my information in the system from frequent rentals, had to go through each and every box which ended up delaying me an extra half hour. I cannot think of one time that I have rented here where the car didn't have 30,000 or more miles. You spend 10 minutes just documenting the dents, scratches and window chips. In most cases the windows are always cloudy, so be prepared to bring some cleaning equipment if you like a clear windshield. Also be prepared to stop and fuel the car before you get started, they do not rent with full tanks. read more

This is hands down the best place to rent in the Idaho Falls area. They will pick you up at the airport or even a local repair shop, and they are very friendly. I've rented from them several times and they always get me a car I enjoy, and at a reasonable price. They seem to go out of their way to make this process quick and easy. The one time that I was suprised by something on the bill they cleared it up, even though it was party due to my misunderstanding. This speaks volumes to me. We almost exclusively use Enterprise for our car rentals and our experience this past weekend reaffirmed why. We were picking up a local rental to use 1 day to go to an event a few hours away . We got to the location and didn't realize they closed early on Saturday. It was a few minutes after close and the door was locked up. We figured we would have to try to get the headlight changed so we could just take our car since that was why we were renting in the first place. As we were getting ready to drive off Blair opened the door and told us they were all shut down and asked if Monday would work? When I explained what we were doing he invited us in, rebooted his system, quickly processed our rental, with a nice upgrade and never acted put out. He quickly had us on our way. I wanted to express my irritation with your agency. This is not the first time that I have rented from your agency and every time that I do, I seem to encounter the same problem. I never receive the vehicle I requested. This most recent time was an issue. My grandfather became deathly ill and my family and I needed to travel to Michigan from Idaho to say our good-byes. I have 4 children so we of course rented a mini van due to the gas mileage and the cargo space that a mini van offers. I reserved this 5 days before our scheduled departure. Apparently, 5 days is not enough. Saturday morning my grandfather passed away and we were scheduled to pick up our rental at 11:30 am. When my husband and I arrived to pick up our mini van, there wasn't one available. Since when is 5 days not enough notice to have the vehicle promised? Why advertise that someone can have a specific vehicle if you can't deliver. The front desk person was rushed when we checked out the vehicle and assured us that the Chevy Tahoe we were being "upgraded" to had the same gas mileage as the minivan. NO IT DID NOT! I went through the vehicle's history (because it stores it) and the best gas mileage the Tahoe ever got was 16.8 mpg. This vehicle had absolutely NO storage space for 6 people and horrible gas mileage. The front desk person acted as though I should be grateful that I was being upgraded to this vehicle. I was not. I was so grief stricken by my grandfather's death and upset with this company, that I walked out and left my husband to take care of the details. Not only did we pay full price, plus have $150 additional held, but we ended up having to pay significantly more in gas and had THE MOST UNCOMFORTABLE trip. There was no way I was going to be "happy" about this "upgrade" and I am tired of receiving this type of service from your company. I will be reviewing your company on all of the booking websites and making sure that everyone is aware of the "customer service" they can expect, even during a time of mourning.
