Had a great experience here. We rented a large SUV for vacation. It was ready for us when we got there and ran perfectly the entire trip. Working with Nick was the best! He was knowledgeable and helpful and very pleasant to work with. I only gave 4 stars instead of 5 as the back seat looked like someone had spilled coffee or coke all over and it was not cleaned. I had to clean it myself. The whole cleaning of the vehilce was not great. Other than that, we were very happy. read more

They are liars. They said they called Saturday and advised us which is a complete and total LIE! I booked an Expedition or similar vehicle and got there to find out it was a minivan. That doesn't help when you have a party of 8!!! We will never darken their door to pay them for a service they cannot provide and lie making it seem like it's the customers fault they cannot accommodate the original request. I was picked up brought to Enterprise in Inverness I am a hurricane victim so my debit card was hacked and my regular credit card hadn't received a payment because I had not been working however the gentleman that was at The Inverness store around 4:00 on October 18th, the guy was so rude he found out I didn't have a credit card through another employee and he walked straight up to me and said I'm going to call you an Uber because we are short staffed and we can't give you a ride back home never even bothering to try to find out if he could help me or what was going on super super rude super embarrassing as well I wish there was another rental car place in all of citrus county Enterprise has the market Ended up walking for a half hour before someone could come pick me up really bad experience. read more

I've got to tell you that my experience in the past hasn't always been pleasant but since I've given them another shot...perfection! I have asthma and as we know, many people smoke in these cars so I have a really hard time. Zach, Joe and Harrison totally rocked it for me and got me into a vehicle that was smoke free. They are all very personable, and willing to assist in anyway possible. It was very much appreciated by me that they took the time to make sure I was okay with the vehicle, and that my asthma was not going to be an issue. I have rented from this location 2 times over the last 3 months. Each time our service has been fantastic. On my first car I rented I ended up having a flat tire the next morning. I called Enterprise as soon as they opened and writhing 20 minutes a new vehicle was brought to me. My current experience with them has been over the top as I needed a rental due to an accident. Customer service has always been great there. I really have nothing bad to say about this business, I highly recommend them. read more

Horrible Business practices!!!.My husband made a reservation through his company to pick up a car today.When he called yesterday to confirm and told them he was using his Amex debit card the only thing he was told of was that the card had to have a min.of 200.00 for a deposit, which we made sure of.We went to pick up the car and he was then told he was going to be charged an an EXTRA 15% because of the type of card he was using and he needed two types of utility bills. Mind you none of this was told to him at any point.And we have rented from other enterprise locations using the exact same card and Never Had this issue!!!!! He called corporate and their only remedy was to try and go to another location.......it should be the same at every location.We will never rent from enterprise again.Budget just gained another customer. read more

Totaled my car. Was told enterprise would give a big discount through my insurance company. (I hit a deer..no rental coverage). The first Enterprise I went to had no rentals but made suggestions on where I should call to see if they had cars. The closest place I called had nothing available but called the next town and made a reservation for me. I asked for mid size car...ended up with a toyota corola with deep scratches in it, and torn up carpet. When I asked the rep if he should document it he said no. So 240.00 for one week. The Inverness, FL staff was very courteous and helpful with the rental process. The car (Nissan Pathfinder) was clean and looked good. About an hour into my 10 hour trip, the air conditioner quit working. I called Inverness and was told to find a nearby Enterprise dealer for a swap-out. The Enterprise dealer in Lake City, FL only had a small Hyundai with no cruise control (why would a rental car company have cars without cruise control?). The next nine hours were somewhat less than enjoyable. Okay, they sucked. Upon turning the car in at the Franklin, TN Enterprise, I was told that Enterprise could offer no concessions at the turn-in location. Hertz or Budget would have documented my complaint and contacted me by now. I have heard nothing from Enterprise. Again, the staff was polite and professional. I will seek alternatives before renting for my next business or personal trip. read more

Car not available when promised (I had to wait over an hour). Car was not clean (wheels dirty). I called the corporate number while I was waiting, and they put me on hold for 30 minutes, and did not respond. The manager never addressed the problem. Quite clearly, he could care less. April (a sales clerk did care, and credited my rental for one full day). When I returned the car at Tampa airport, the counter clerks refused to issue the credit, despite the fact that I provided the contract, along with April's authorization. Enterprise is a mess! If you truly need a rental, and wish to avoid a substantial inconvenience, use ANY other car rental company. Other than April, Enterprise is a horrible company to do business with. read more
