We pick you up? Really though just made reservations through my insurance company because my car was damaged. They don't have the staff that enables them to actually pick anybody up past 10 mlies. The ladies in this Lakeport office do a great job for the little spot in a building that they have which really limits their inventory! They were so professional and efficient and accomplished the task of getting me a SUV on the day and time I needed. I have to start this review off with the *Management* was amazing. JENNIFER, who is supposedly customer service, is a TERRIBLE waste of good money someone else could be making there. This crow calls me informing me my insurance stopped paying the previous day for a rental. (Not really on top of things.. could have called day before or two days to get things sorted out) Totally fine. I'll pay for the extra time/usage when I drop off the vehicle. She screams at me that won't work for her. Tells me if I don't give her additional deposit right then, she was going to mark the vehicle as theft. I explain I just had surgery, I'm not able to drive and I'll need to coordinate with my husband (who's working as we have our own business) Not good enough for her, she yells at me "what don't you understand about this" I'm not going to argue with such a person so I hang up. I call my insurance who worked it all out. Thanks heaven for AAA! This Jennifer was not only outstandingly rude to me, she was disgusting with my auto body shop. How does she still have a job there when SO MANY other people are ready and willing - probably be much more presentable for their business as well. When I dropped off my rental, again, all management is phenomenal. The crow was there and did not acknowledge me at all. Not an apology for her vile behavior. I thought to myself, I'd give her an ugly look BUT, it seems like she already has one. Enterprise, do yourself a favor and hire someone else for that job. Very upset with this establishment I reserved a specific car (sedan) vehicle for a trip. I needed a sedan to allow enough room for everyone and our luggage for this trip. I had a confirmed reservation a month prior to the pick up date for a Chevy Malibu and even called an hour before arrival. I was told on the phone by a gentleman that the Chevy Malibu mid sized sedan was in fact ready for me to be picked up. Upon showing up the woman working explained to me that the car that was reserved for me is a Nissan kick which is much too small for this trip and the amount of passengers and not at all what I reserved (sedan) when I went outside the Chevy Malibu that I was expected to have reserved was parked right outside and when I asked why I wasn't getting a sedan vehicle she said they didn't have any and that someone called the day before to reserve the Chevy Malibu for tomorrow. In my opinion I would have honored the reservation to the person who already had their reservation for said vehicle ( a mid size sedan) rather than giving it to someone else so situations like this don't occur. There is absolutely not enough trunk space or room for everyone on this trip and I am very displeased with how unorganized this establishment is honoring reservations. I dont think it matters if you reserve a vehicle via phone or online it should not be ignored when someone specified their request to reserve a sedan they should uphold their promise in offering a sedan not a compact vehicle. If you don't care what car you get then reserve a rental here but if you are specific about your rental I would highly suggest going somewhere else like Santa Rosa or even trying ukiah before considering this place. read more

This place is a joke...made a reservation 24 hours prior to pick up as I needed a car to take my daughter to surgery 300 miles away from home. Recieved an email 2 hours before pick up saying they have no cars available and I can be put on a waitlist...for another day! How does that help or make the situation better?! As a return customer he understands I know the process and it makes the entire situation painless. I guess enterprise deserves credit in the matter for hiring an employee like Rick. So I've been renting from this location for awhile....I had 1 bad experience with something valuable stolen in the past...but whatever....I went back and I might say that Tara was the best person I've ever had to deal with at a rent a car place..... So, I am a customer service nightmare:) I have rented cars for decades in USA, in Mexico and Europe.. blah blah blah. I definitely pick Enterprise because of the customer service, despite other options of discounts offered through AAA and other things. They just don't equal the personal attention I receive and I am NOT paid to say this:) Kudos to the whole staff, but specifically to RICK.. in my local Lakeport, CA location. Bosses should really pay attention to how well all staff have treated me. Persnickety? Yes, I AM. You better know how to check the equipment for low oil and/or mechanical failure before renting from this place. I reserved a vehicle for a family event two months in advance. When I picked up the car, the dashboard had a message that the oil was low, which I didn't notice, at first. I'm not familiar with new cars, but I was sure that Enterprise would never send a car out without making sure it was mechanically sound, so I went on my trip. The next day, I received a call from the girl at Enterprise in Lakeport. She wanted to know how the trip was going. I said "fine" and mentioned the low oil message. She told me to take the vehicle back to Enterprise at 4:50 pm on a Friday. I told her I was 200 miles away. Then she told me to take it to one of their "authorized mechanics" - all of which were closing in 10 minutes! I drove back to our home town, took it to my mechanic, early the next morning and found out the oil was 3 quarts LOW! What kind of Sh@#ty car rental place sends a new vehicle out without sufficient oil in it?! I paid the mechanic $20 to put two quarts of synthetic oil as specified on the engine and continued with my plans for the weekend, since I couldn't return the car until Monday. (They're closed on weekends) When I returned the car and submitted my receipt for the oil, Samantha told me they would NOT REIMBURSE me because I didn't take it to one of their shops. I spent almost $600 on the rental car for 5 days. By adding oil, I saved their car from a blown engine. I complained to the Enterprise Customer Service office and that turned out to be a JOKE! I never heard back from the manager of customer service. So Enterprise has lost a customer over $20.00!! Poor business management, poor salesperson skills, poor customer service and unreliable vehicles in Lakeport, California! I would never recommend this place!!! read more

Greetings I have been using Enterprise for 20 years. Some locations where they have picked me up have been remote and difficult to find. I am now in a rural area of northern California and have had the opportunity to work with your team in Lakeport California. Alex the manager is always helpful and available even when they are swamped. The person I want to give the highest recommendation to is the assistant manager Rick . He has picked me up and dropped me off in a very rural farm area and each time he is in great spirits and patient and on time although it is often a very inconvenient time for them to come pick me up. He is also the kind of manager that finds creative solutions with difficult problems. My credit card has had problems unknown to me, I have had to change plans last minute, drop off my car in different locations without warning and other small things that can tax a small office. My husband and I were scheduled to go camping this last weekend, leaving on Friday, no kids-no dogs-just the two of us. Thursday, my alternator went in my truck, Friday, my husband's starter in his truck...Rick works close by and came into our office and I told him my truck troubles, camping, etc.-mind you it's Friday. A couple of hours later, Rick walks in with keys to a 2017 Dodge Ram and says "You're going camping!" I was so happy!!!!! I called my husband and told him-all he could say was YES!!! Rick is AWESOME and made it possible for us to get away for a well deserved camping trip-again, no dogs-no kids!!! If you need a rental, it's obvious Rick will go above and beyond. One star is too much! I called to ask about a rental quote and I was sent to reservations. That was not what I requested. First I needed to know if I could even afford to obtain the rental. When I called the number back the same person picked up and was snarky with me because "I am the only one in the office at this time." This just happened and I understand if you are busy and my questions are just not good enough for you that you put me on hold for over 5 minutes. Yes I will take that as blatant disrespect.
