I've rented from Enterprise quite a bit but this has been by far the worst location that we've been to. We rented a truck which was not washed or clean when we received it and it was also on E and the guy explained that we can bring the truck back on the same fuel tank that we received it on so Straight Out The Gate we end up having to pay an extreme amount for gas before even being able to use it. Upon the return we arrived 10 minutes before our due time and was not seen until after the return rental time and was told that we would be responsible for the late fee which was $86 for 5 minutes. We will never return to this location we love doing business with Enterprise but this location unfortunately needs to step their game up read more

Rented a car and said I needed it at least through Friday but most likely extend through Saturday. They said no problem I could extend as needed. They did let me know they were closed Sundays. I had a corporate discount code and they told me that corporate codes are not valid and they no longer took them. I noticed when I was waiting for the car that the office staff was not very professional. When I extended to Saturday they told me that they closed at noon and had to have it back before then. I had picked the car up in the evening and asked if I got a discount since I wasn't told I had to have it back before noon. I was told I either had to have it back by noon or keep it till Monday. I called corporate to voice my concern. During the call I asked about corporate codes. The rep validators my code was valid. She said that she couldn't give me the discount because I didn't give it to them when I booked the car. I explained I did have it and was told corporate codes are no longer valid for Enterprise. She also told me that actually I had to have the car back by 11:45 as they don't take cars back later when they close at noon. She was not able to help and said a manager would call me back. No one called back. After returning the car on the Saturday I received a survey and I rated my experience as poor. I then got a call back regarding the survey. I explained what happened. They asked me to give them the name of the person that rented me the car. I told them I didn't have that but I'm sure they could look it up on my paper work. This is the WORST customer service EVER!!!! I spoke to Eddie and asked that I can get picked up. After waiting over an hour I called and wasn't connected because no one answered and the call was disconnected. This happened 3 times. Then a woman answered the phone at 11:07. At this point I had already waited over an hour and a half for a ride to pick me up. I told her if the urgency of needing to attend my doctors appointment. Still noting. I call again 30 minutes later, now over 2 hours of waiting and still no pickup. It took over 2.5 hours to get picked up and taken to get the vehicle. The service was the best and fastest service I ever received at a Enterprise...... I was in need of a rental car due to an accident and my claim adjuster made the arrangements with this location to get me in a rental. I was contacted by the manager from Enterprise to confirm that they had a reservation ready for when I needed it. When I got to the location there was no hang ups and the agent even went out her way to find the exact name of the location to where my car was towed since I didn't have it for the insurance forms. The ease of returning was just as smooth as the pickup and the most important thing there was no hidden fees I had to pay for. I went to Kinston NC in May and was told a lie about the amount and deposit to rent a car. I made arrangements 2 weeks prior when I arrived in Kinston they denied me from getting a car. I am a disabled person too. The Manager in Kinston was rude and aggressive snatching phones from me as I was talking to the area supervisor. She was eating pizza in front of the customers acting irate and loud, I started a video because she kept stating different policies and did not have any policies available for me to read, she told me to go on the website. The manager of Kinston lied about returning back the next day knowing they would be closed early due to the holiday. As I tried talking to the area manager she wanted me to talk to the area manager in front of customers and on the speaker phone, she did not want me to touch the phone - she held the phone in my face. Basically, I was treated as a second-class citizen. She had a chip on her shoulder and the area manager believed her and was satisfied with how the supervisor over enterprise in Kinston treated customers. Enterprise has gone down a lot they use to be a professional place now they just hire anybody who has no respect for others. I filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and how enterprises should have their policies posted and train their workers to tell the customers everything before they rent. They need to be trained in the Americans Disability Act and treat others the same regardless of their disabilities. I called at 9:30 and was told one would be ready for me at 10:30. I arrive and there is no car. I wait until noon and they finally tell me there MAY be one ready at 1. Worst experience! Do not go here and risk being stolen from. I was lied to from the start of making my reservation over the phone, I was told multiple times that my total price was inclusive of additional insurance coverage. When picking up my rental that was allegedly an "upgrade" from my original car choice, they only had one compact car there with dents and cracks in the windshield. I filmed and took pictures of the car prior to getting in it. I was notified that additional coverage was not included in the total I was given, even asking for it multiple times during the bookings nearly a week prior to pickup. I was texted by the manager asking if all was well and if I wanted to extend my rental. Due to the storms where we were, it was the safest option to extend the rental a day. I responded to the managers text and none of my texts were responded to. After not hearing back for hours I extended through the customer service number. We got back into town later than expected and I asked for a later return time on the customer service line, they told me that due to the hours at the location and it being closed on Sunday, I was instructed to return the car at the Torrance location at the same time as pick up. I was told on a recorded line that I would not be charged if I followed their instructions, I did exactly what they told me to do. This made no sense dropping off at a further distance location, when this location is open Monday. Not only was I charged for two extra days, but I did not receive my full deposit back! I tried to ask why and was given bs answers. After calls to both locations and corporate, I talked to a girl at this location and after disclosing that I'm disabled, I was treated like trash and then humiliated. She told me I needed to prove my drop off at the other location in order for them to refund only 1 fraudulent charge they stole from me. She asked me to attain the Torrance location security camera footage of me returning the car. Usually law enforcement or a subpoena is needed for something like that. It was embarrassing asking for it over the phone and them even telling me that them asking me to do that is wrong and unlike what I was told, was not a normal procedure that's asked of customers. Completely unprofessional and I can't even dispute this with my bank due to them seeing the partial deposit refund from Enterprise! It's been 3 weeks of dealing with Enterprise and even their "escalation" and "legal" departments. I'm a student who saved for so long to take this trip and this cost me unforeseen costs that prevented me in paying for my class program that is required. I had to drop my class at nearly end of semester because I had no way of paying. At this point my rental contract was clearly fraudulent and they violated their own terms according to the legal advice I've gotten. I will take this to small claims if I'm not refunded EVERYTHING I spent! I was trying to get what they overcharged, but after all this impact on my education, physical and mental health, I want all my money back! Beware of the employees and Eddie the DM/LM who are extremely prejudice against autistic people. This whole company has gone downhill and the complaints on Twitter and the better business bureau are recent and there are thousands online. Just moved to the area and rented from here. Check in was so quick and fast. JoJo helped me and she was attentive and so informative during the process, and made the interaction as smooth as can be. Returning was the same! I forgot to get the employees name, but she was great with the return process. I came in with my two dogs and the staff was amazing to my fur babies! This enterprise is so convenient, its literally walking distance from my house. I came to return the car this afternoon and was greeted by 2 women inside. They were very helpful and assured me a young lady would help me soon. I like the fact that they require face masks and only allow customers to wait outside. Being 7 months pregnant this made me feel safe. Diamond Williams was the young lady who helped me return my car. She was super sweet and thoroughly explained all the charges so there weren't any surprises. She even went above and beyond for me and I really appreciate her help. I was involved in a car accident with an Uber driver. His insurance (who were great by the way) sent me over to this location because it was closer to my home and it was supposed to be a easy process. I was involved in my car accident around 7/1 and I was told to come here to get my rental car until my car was fix. I did not need to pay for anything but the insurance paid for everything. I just needed a hold of $150 on my card until I gave the car back. When I got there my appointment was at 8am to get the car and leave so I could go to work. That's not what happened no one checked anyone in nor was there any staff checking anyone in. After finally checking in with a staff member (tall guy, never got his name), I was told that they had no cars really available but they will see what they could do by this time it is 10am. I'm looking at the cars coming in and they are all messed up or not even clean (dog hair and feces in one car, no radio or ac, bottom of the car something was hanging off, I can go on and these were 3 separate cars. I told them no on the 'damage waiver' ( I showed the guy my insurance card that covers it) however I still was charged $189 dollars without giving my authorization 2 weeks later. I went in the next day (showed my insurance card again) and girl at the front office said I will get my money back within 7-10 business days. We are in December now and still no $189. Enterprise is giving me the run around and my bank who outsource the claims department does not understand what is going on. The damage waiver is a bonus for the worker so I know they are going to fight every time I report it. There is so much more to the story but it's too much to type. Extremely disappointed with my experience at this enterprise location. I have never had a bad experience with enterprise until now! Every time we get a rental the car is always clean and full of gas (as it should be) especially with covid 19 they have a "complete clean pledge" but clearly they just threw the paper in the car as if they really cleaned everything that they claim to clean but the car was FILTHY. We took our rental on a lengthy road trip and ofc we expect the car to work well but there were problems with the car. 1) the radio would shut off every time we tried to use the car charger. IMAGINE NOT BEING ABLE TO CHARGE YOUR PHONE ON AN 8 HOUR TRIP!!! 2) the car was shaking at random times which made us concerned for our safety. Again, it was an 8 hour trip ONE way. Once I walked up, I saw 3 representatives, standing around (outdoor due to Covid.) not 1 employee acknowledged me to let me know they will be right with me (super unorganized) Once I'm finally acknowledged, a young man (didn't get his name , wish I did) took my drivers license to begin the process. Becareful when you taking and returning the rental car! I rented a Red Hyundai ( with lots of damages on the car) from March 6th to March 19th! I was not involved into any car accident during my renting! I checked the car evryday to make sure everything was good! When I returned the car, last minute the employee told me there was a dent on the car and that shocked me! Long story short, there was a charge of $590 on top of the refundable deposit of $150. My car was in the shop and through my insurance I got rental car. They gave me a Kona hundi. I thought it was perfect as i have a car seat because I have a 1 year old. The very next day a semi-truck starts the merge in my lane and I try to honk and realized MY HORN DIDNT WORK! I then got home, and my husband went to the car to take a look and the horn started to work again I then continued to use the car and realized the oil light came on it being the very next day I got the car! I then tried to honk the horn again to get the attention of another driver and pressed and pressed and the horn wasn't working I then instantly didn't feel safe in the car and no longer wanted it as i also have a 1 year old! I contact the enterprise and they informed me "they have no cars" I told them it was unacceptable as it is an endangerment to my family and I ! They then put me in a HUDGE car and told me they will waive the "over fee" since they gave me a DIFECTIVE car, I then told them I still want to be placed in a small car as it's still a BIG GAS KILLER! I work 28miles round trip from and to work! They then told me to come in the next day I came in and the manger WASNT EVEN A WEAR OF MY SITUATION and she gave me attitude because she didn't understand why I was switching out my car without an appointment even though one of her employees told me to come in the that day for a smaller car! After they finally gave me a small car, a "Carolla" they told me I have switched my car the max number of times (3 times) and can't make any more switches. KEEP IN MIND I HAVE TO KEEP SWITCHING CARS BECAUSE OF THEM NOT ANY REASON OF MINE. maybe id understand one exchange to be on me but for them to use 3 exchanges because of their mistake is absolutely disgraceful. Range for rental car last week through AAA because I took my car to Precision Collision which is about 5 minutes from there. I spoke with Devon the manager let him know that I had to be picked up by 9:00 a.m. I was sent an email with technology 9:00 a.m. because I had to go to work at the Kaiser Anaheim. Of course someone calls me at 8:00 a.m. wanting to confirm at 8:30 a.m. pick up. These people are idiots. I've rented twice from this location. If you're looking for a specific vehicle type, order it online first so that it can be available at this location. I still have rented last minute from them and it worked out, just a different vehicle type. There are minor issues with some of the cars but all function well. Wow. This location is a hot mess. This fact was explained to me by an actual employee. He nonchalantly told me about how everything here is broken and they have barely any inventory. All the employees were laughing that they didn't charge their tablets (that they need to help people with). I waited longer cause of this. If I could give this location no stars, I would. I have never experienced such terrible customer service. Especially coming from an assistant manager. The first day I came in, I had a reservation and wasn't informed that I would need a utility bill. So since I had no car, there was no way for me to go back home and come back in the time frame I had before I had to go back to work. I come back the next day, utility bill in hand, and then I was told I had to have the full amount of the rental on my card. I had never paid up front for my rental, I usually pay my balance after I drop it off, I understood the deposit, but was not informed about the full balance. So again, day 2 without a vehicle and I had to uber my son to school and myself to work which wasn't cheap. Come back the 3rd day and FINALLY! I was able to get a rental. The assistant manager is pretty disrespectful when I put my son's father as an emergency contact he had a smart comment of "do I put him under baby daddy?" And chuckled. I was like um. No but I brushed that situation off. Here we are about a week and a half later and I'm bringing the car before I'm supposed to because for some reason the car switched to manual as I was driving down a busy street and started to slow down. I requested a replacement because I didn't want the issue to happen again while I drove with my son in the back seat. Again, the assistant manager was rude and saying it was negligence. Idk how that was negligence when the car decided to switch to manual and I had no clue how to drive it in that mode. Had the car towed here and I'm done with this location.
