This Enterprise is by far my favorite! Emma and Caesar were so kind and gave me excellent customer service! First, Caesar picked me up from the body shop and drove me to enterprise in Hermosa Beach to pick up a rental. Emma was awesome and gave me choices of SUV's compatible with my car. I chose their brand new 2025 Mazda suv which smelled like a brand new car and so clean inside and out and drove smooth. Three weeks later, I returned the rental, and Emma checked me out from the rental and Caesar drove me back to the body shop to pick up my car. I saw so many happy customers there. I highly recommend and love this enterprise rental car in Hermosa Beach because not only are their cars amazing, but the customer service I got there was above and beyond! I had to rent a car through my insurance AAA and I was originally set for Gardena location. I called Hermosa beach location because they were closer at the time. Desiree took my call and easily transferred my reservation to their location. Once I arrived she was patient with me in showing the cars because I just could not make up my mind as this was one of my first accidents to go through. Absolutely outrageous! I made a reservation about a week ago. I got a call this morning saying they don't have a car for me and for me to look at other locations once I got to looking at other locations they doubled the charge and offered me to just rent two cars instead of the one. The day before Thanksgiving, I feel like it's pretty awful to do this to a family. read more

So I got rear ended and needed a rental car . This was convenient as it was across from my body shop. I dealt with Lizzie and Miguel. Both were super friendly and helpful. I first got a Nissan Sentra but soon after leaving I noticed the wiper blade was flapping and not working properly. They told me bring it back we'll swap it out for you no problem. They did I ended up with what I like to call a clown car a Mitsubishi mirage . It got me to where I needed to go just fine. I got my car back earlier than expected so I returned the car sooner and there was no penalties for that which was super awesome. If I or anyone I know need a rental car I'll definitely be referring them to this location! Also Allstate customers who need a car because of an accident get a discount here ! That was super helpful as it was out of pocket for me. Location was super clean easy to get in and out of with busy pch . Years ago I had a bad experience with the Enterprise in Playa del Carmen, Mexico so much that when renting subsequent cars in Chicago and Las Vegas, I used Dollar and Thrifty. My experience with this Hermosa Beach office was the BEST ever. Fast, courteous, professional staff and a location a few blocks from home. No wonder they were busy! Would not rent me a car because my license had a crease on it , its perfectly valed and displays all my info and picture clearly on the card , yet i was told it was unacceptable , made to feel like i am some kind of scammer criminal with a unvalid license i was turned away rudely , i have rented over 10 vehicle from this location never had a problem before i am a loyal good customer . Best local location!! Manager went out of her way to find me a car same day after another location ( El Segundo) had failed to do so after 4 days!!! The only luxury car they had was a SUV, and I suck at parking lol. However, beyond grateful what they did in 5 hours. I called Jimmy Lara saying I was not comfortable driving a SUV, and he said he would keep me informed when a smaller cars would come in. Do not rent from this location. They overcharge because of their limited hours. They misquote your price and then charge you more. That's called a bait and switch. And they give you cars that have not been checked by mechanics and that have low battery on the key fobs. Avoid at all costs. read more

I love my little Enterprise in Hermosa Beach, they take great care of me and the staff is so friendly.

I had an appointment to pick up a car because my car was in the shop and when I got here I now have to wait for them to wash a car, vacuum it and then have it sanitized. All other car rental businesses have their cars ready for their customers. I'm not a happy customer and disappointed because I have another appointment at 3:00.that I will now be late for. Update: the customer service lady gave me a 1/2 tank of gas for free to make up for the inconvenience. I appreciate that. read more

This was my first time renting from this particular Enterprise location. I love enterprise because they have always been extremely professional, thoughtful, and caring. This location is perfect, from the vehicle options to the phenomenal customer service! AJ helped me check in and get a car. He gave me options and even gave me an upgrade since it was available at the time. He was super nice, quick and helpful. I was in and out in 10min. I made a reservation which was confirmed by Enterprise, only to be called five minutes before pickup, while I was pulling up to the location, that they had no cars and my reservation was canceled. Leaving me stranded, with no idea when they woulf have a car to rent, they then told me they could not drop me off at home because I was not within 3 miles. Worse customer service and no remedy provided for THEIR error. read more

Got our car stolen and the insurance paid for the rental car, and we had a choice between Enterprise and one other company, we chose enterprise, Insurance set up the reservation, drove down to the site and we were immediately greeted by Stephon, everything was ready to go, got the this is the cost, how much the insurance will pay and you are responsible for the extra 99 cents per day speech, after a walk around the car for the pre-rental inspection, the upsell on the Collision Damage insurance etc., we signed the paper and drove away, in and out in less than 15 minutes. Flash forward a couple of weeks and the insurance decides they will never find our car so they start the settlement process, get a call from Enterprise that the insurance will stop paying for the car on Tuesday but if we need they will keep us at the special rate. We didn't need to so we took the car back, and Stephon greeted me again for the turn in, a quick check of the mileage and settling up the bill and again we are out the door in less than 15 minutes. Actually, the staff demonstrated what "customer service" is all about. It started with a friendly greeting and amazing attention being paid to social distancing and cleanliness. The review of the rental agreement was simple and easy. I had a good choice of cars, so that made the experience pleasant. The staff member must have wiped down the car several time before I even got inside. I was off on my journey within minutes. Upon returning the car was just a positive and easy. I drove into the lot and the staff greeting me and bingo the transaction was completed and I was on my way home. Based upon this information, Enterprise will be my choice again for a rental car. read more

It is a smaller office than the Enterprise I am used to dealing with out East Coast and the staff size is small as well, which did cause a bit of delay in checking in for the rental. However, what they did to go above-and-beyond was great, and the staff were helpful to adjust to the needs of the client. Initially the rental was through a nearby Enterprise but having had experience with the Redondo Beach branch, I inquired about their competitive pricing. They agreed to honor the lower rate which made it worth researching for better rates! The plan was to rent a car (economy) for a road-trip to Las Vegas on a very important family gathering. After a brief conversation about the trip details, the manager made a decision to upgrade my car which ended up being such a great ride, everyone who had the pleasure of being in it raved about how comfortable it was. Rented a van from this location yesterday. I checked the van, it had an engine light on. After asking the representative about it, he said that service had just been performed and they likely had just forgotten To turn the light off. I took it home and loaded it full of heavy equipment. Today I'm driving it on the 405 South and felt a bump and a swerve and sure enough the tire blew off down to the rim. Could have been killed. I was told by this location to call roadside assistance myself. Roadside assistance informed me that Enterprise would not be able to replace our truck FULL of heavy equipment for 5-6 hours "due to COVID." If you can't support your operations then don't rent trucks out. I've now been here for 3 hours and the only person who was able to help me was a police officer. Never, ever again will I rent from these people. read more

It was one of those days where every bad thing that could happen did. The repair shop arranged for an immediate rental through enterprise, and while the repair shop ended up being suuuper shady, the ladies here at enterprise were helpful and quick to get me going. Check in and check out was easy and efficient. They remained positive and happy, even though there was some man in a luxury vehicle complaining about his 1st world problems and being difficult. Can't give 3.5. Staff seems professional, the car was nice. A couple of gripes. 1. The car was brand new, and I was the second person to rent. Pretty cool! But..Trash Bottle was found between driver seat and back seat. They lady apologized.. whatever.. mistakes happen. 2. I needed a car in a pinch, and they accommodated, however, I forgot to mention I had AAA at the time. When I returned the car, I mentioned I had AAA.. and they said they can't discount it because "since Covid started we require to book through them for the discount". I had no idea... kind of silly to not accommodate. Not sure why the change in policy happened, but they weren't up front about it. I can tell you I've rented a car from their competitor since the pandemic and they didn't have some sort of nonsense requirement like booking through AAA. Just wanted to bring it to your attention that this location is being run way below par. I made a reservation for a pickup truck over a month ago and after waiting there for over an hour, I'm being told that the pickup truck has damage and they cannot rent it to me. This location is being run below staff (only 2 people there) and customers are waiting over an hour. I'm extremely frustrated and angry that this location wasted the last hour of my life for no reason. Terrible, terrible service. Stay far far away if you want to keep your sanity. I ended up taking an Uber to another Enterprise location which had over 100 cars, trucks and SUV's to choose from located at 20625 Hawthorne Blvd., in Torrance. Very happy with the local Hermosa Beach Enterprise Rent-A-Car branch. I've driven by this place hundreds of times over the past decade plus but never really noticed it until I needed it. After a recent fender bender the insurance claims adjuster sent me here. The staff was very friendly and that alone made the experience excellent but on top of that they have a nice selection of clean & brand new vehicles that are all loaded with top of the line technology. At first they gave me a small SUV because of limited inventory that day, it was more than I needed and they happily downsized me to a more reasonable compact car. Marina was very accommodating and when I missed her call she reached out via text message to keep me in the loop. Hopefully my car won't be back in the shop anytime soon but if it is I know that they will take care of me here and you should use them too. read more

Enterprise picked me up and took me to their location on PCH. Christian helped me from start to finish and he was so KIND, COURTEOUS and PROFESSIONAL. In my opinion, there are plenty of places to get rent a car, so the customer service can be a game changer.
