To my surprise, I had a choice of two vehicles there. I've had experiences at other car rental companies where there isn't anything available even when you book in advance. In addition, the staff tended not only me, but everyone there with 100% courtesy. read more

They tried to have me pay for a minor flaw that was previously on the car. I refused. The car wasn't even checked over before I rented it. The previous renters items were still in the glove compartment as was an umbrella under the seat. read more

Would give 0 stars if I could. My Volkswagen rental had a notification about the front tire even before I left the enterprise car lot. The enterprise associate told me to ignore it. A few days later, the tire became completely flat, and I had to call roadside assistance from my own insurance company to have it repaired. I was then given a Mitsubishi replacement car, which was in terrible condition. The replacement car smelt very strongly of cigarettes and cleaning agents. The windshield had a thick film that made it difficult to see through when the sun shone directly on it or when headlights hit it at night. This was a massive driving hazard. Only one of the car keys worked. I spoke to an associate at the same enterprise location asking for a replacement, and they insisted that there were none at the time. I was forced to drive that hazardous car around for the entirety of the rental period. I do not recommend this location. They are only trying to keep your money and do not care about your safety while you drive their vehicles. They will give you a car in any condition and tell you everything is fine when it is not. read more

I had an excellent experience with this enterprise. My reservation was cancelled @ enterprise valley stream 5 minutes before my pickup time. I had to hurry to enterprise Lynbrook and try to get a car before they closed. The manager Jawaan and staff Roberta did a great job helping me out. Even though they were closing were also short on cars, they made it work for me and got me going in 15 minutes. Car was great and provided me a smooth road trip. All of the staff is friendly and get you in and out. Will definitely use again. read more

Do NOT rent at this lynbrook location. Sales agent Anthony specifically stated to return vehicle Sunday. I returned the vehicle on Sunday and they were closed. It was a scam to get another day of payment. The manager Juanco was rude, unprofessional and discourteous when I stated the problem. He cursed and said "I don't believe any words out of your mouth'." I was told to call customer service while at location over the financing dispute. Juanco then closed the account n charged me full price knowing that i was on the phone with customer service which he said to call in order to close the account. He still has not sent a receipt to my email. Manager at customer service told me after an hour of waiting that he closed it out without telling me. I will have to inform corporate to disclose the issue where i will also make a formal complaint about the locations manager and agent who were not willing to discuss the problem and lying about hours of operation. The manager was more concerned about his fanduel parlays that he didnt win and was cursing in front of me and other customers. Highly do not recommend ever renting from this location. do not reserve a car here!!!! horrible. horrible. they don't answer the phons at all I even called while at the car rental office I watched employees pick up the phone and hang up immediately. i wanted to verify my rental prior to picking up the vehicle. but could not sue to the employees hanging up. once I arrived the office was filled with 20 or more unhappy customers. they were turning away customers because they overbooked cars. SMDH. and what did they tell me NO cars available. they said it with a smile. no answers to why a simple thing just to answer the call this way a customer could book at a different enterprise. buy This is the service when certain people work in an office uncared .... repeated customer service. Horrible! They are a scam. Writing this for my father..:I rented a car and set up an appointment at 5:00 to pick up car. When I arrived they told me the car was not in yet and come back in half hour. When picking up, the person waded the car in the the garage and while in the garage and the car was wet, I did not notice any dents at the time. I drove 3 hours to another state (straight through no stopping) and then parked in my driveway. There was also NO a working radio for the 3 hours I drove because the monitor seemed to be frozen. I returned the car less than 24 hours after renting and the person noticed a small dent by the wheel well. They are now trying to get me to pay for the damage that I did not cause. I am completely unsatisfied with the service and customer service at enterprise. read more

Went here after a car accident I had just been involved. I have always dealt with Enterprise through my insurance co. However Lynbrook branch has an Asst Mgr that should be removed from customer service. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Not once, but three times this rude obnoxious person came at me. I literally had to call Enterprise corporate three times while I was there. The clerk helping me was great but obviously embarrassed by his manager. If I could have gone to another location I would have done so. I was already shaken up from the accident then to have this person come at me was the last thing I needed. The manager Rashida assured me that if I called when approaching the Lynbrook station they would be there in a few minutes. I called a bit earlier at 12:18. I had told them at around 11:20 my train would be in at 12:21 which is when she gave me the instructions. After numerous calls and her totally having an attitude about everything the assistant manager Mike finally arrived at 12:40. It should be noted that I could have walked there in eight minutes. The only reason I did not give them one star was that Mike was fantastic he expedited the whole process and hopefully I will still make my appointments on time. Are used enterprise because I have had only good experiences in the past especially at this branch. However they are recruiting in motion seems to have faltered and they need to address the fact that they have an incompetent manager in place read more

I was in an accident recently and picked up a rental from the Lynbrook location. They were open and available on a Saturday morning which was extremely helpful. The service was also great and as fast as one can expect on a busy Saturday. The staff was also very courteous and nice enough to walk me through the process with my insurance company since they were covering the cost. When an issue arose with billing, Jordan, the branch manager and I were able to talk it out and arrive and a resolution that I am happy with. I judge companies by their customer service, but most importantly by how they respond if there's an issue. These guys are A Ok in my book. read more

i needed a car last minute for a day and received a great rate from this Enterprise. They picked me up quickly and I was able to check out a car in less than 10 minutes. I arranged to return the car at another location close to my home and that took about 5 minutes total to return the car. I Was very happy with my experience at Enterprise and thought they were very honest and offered excellent customer service. I will rent again at this branch. read more

After having a horrible experience with Valley Stream I honestly did not want to give enterprise any of my money. Mike called me in the morning to confirm my reservation that was made by corporate due to the incompetence of Valley Stream . Mike assured me that he would make sure that the large SUV is be available when I arrived as promised he had a vehicle for me . The professionalism of Mike and his staff was phenomenal to say the least . He answered all my questions, ensured I was pleased from start to finish. Mike made a horrible experience better . He and his staff should train the managers and staff of Valley Stream on how to operate a successful business. Because of Mike I will rent from enterprise again . Thank you Mike !!! read more

Absolutely worst customer service! My boyfriend rented a car and I left my wallet in the glove box when I remembered the place was already closed and were closed the next day. I called first thing in the morning 2 days later and nobody seems to know what I was talking about. When I finally spoke to someone they said they watched the video footage and said there were a lot of hands in the car and couldn't see who took out what which is BS because my wallet was huge and can't be missed. Absolutely disgusting that someone would steal someone else property and the fact that all they can say is I'm sorry there's nothing we can do is even worse. Never would I ever do business with Enterprise and I already made sure to tell my family to never ever rent from you guys ever again a bunch of thieves and liars that work there. Thank you for making me have the worse experience on top of that the worse thing I had to go through is feeling violated that someone went through my things and charged my credit cards.
